The Moon of Your Heart: An Angel Message

Put your thoughts to sleep,
do not let them cast a shadow
over the moon of your heart.
Let go of thinking.

I didn't know the blog was going to be about the moon today, but as usual one thing leads into another. Before you know it a theme is building. I am so thankful to the angels for their inspiration.

One of my favorite descriptions of the moon comes from the old classic movie, It's A Wonderful Life.  Jimmy Stewart (George Bailey) asks Donna Reed (Mary Hatch) what she wants.

He asks her if she would like the moon.  He could lasso it for her.  She smiles, "I'll take it, then what?"

"Well, then you can swallow it, and it'll dissolve, see...and the moonbeams would shoot out of your fingers and your toes and the ends of your hair..."

I love his imagery and find it very healing.   Whenever the moon shines through my window, I  like to bask in the moonbeams even if it means taking my pillow and stretching out on the floor in the wake of soft moonlight on the carpet.

We are like the moon as we have no light of our own.  As the moon gets her light from the sun, we, too, draw spiritual Light from (the Light within.)  Archangel Gabriel is associated with the moon and with love relationships.

Tomorrow is a full moon, a time when we are most likely to achieve our highest potential.  With the fullness of light, darkness appears brighter so we can transform any negative thoughts that were lurking in the shadows by focusing on the Light within.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and blessings,

Rae Karen
