Reach Out and Touch Someone: An Angel Message

Several years ago, at Pioneer Village, I found this relic mounted on the storefront wall. It brought back memories of the old Lassie shows where the operator would have to patch Gramps in to talk to his party.  Communication technology has reached far beyond that humble beginning, to the space age as our calling devices easily fit into our purse or pocket. We can call from almost anywhere, and with a smart phone, you can command it to dial the number for you. What progress! Although the angels remind us the reason for the call remains virtually the same.
"To reach out and touch someone."

The angels delight in weaving a message here and there. While working on this blog, to my surprise, while taking a break to search for old Loretta Young classics,  I discovered her cast in a starring role about Alexander Graham Bell.   The  1930's movie has a powerful cast:  Don Ameche plays Bell; Henry Fonda, his assistant; Loretta Young is the deaf student whom Bell tutors and eventually marries.  Click below to watch the free full movie on youtube.

Interesting too, that Bell would invent the telephone.  Bells are often associated with the angels, like in the movie, It's A Wonderful Life: "A bell rings every time an angel gets their wings."

Enjoy your day with the Angels.  Is there someone who would love to hear your voice today?

Love and joyful blessings,
