The September 25th blog on Angels and the importance of color developed into a surprise Tuesday evening. While shopping at Lowe's for paint chips, an angel thought came to check out the carpets. Over the months, my office/den had been neglected and was in need of a color infusion. A cheerful splash of big colorful blossoms now cover the old hardwood floor. My bare feet are comforted by the softness of Wildflowers (the name of the rug) as I work at the computer. I found an anonymous quote online that seemed to be a good remedy: "When life knocks you to the floor, COLOR it."
It's amazing how radiant colors brighten the day. Whether it be a sunny bouquet of flowers, a vibrant painting, or a vivid accent pillow, a touch of color brings joy. I thank the Angels for the reminder to add more color to our lives and our prayers.
