Rise and Shine! It's Groundhog's Day!

"No one is where he is by accident
and chance plays no part in God's plan."
--A Course in Miracles

On a hot summer's day in 2009 while driving home on busy Atlantic Avenue in Virginia Beach, a charter bus grabbed my attention.

Punxsutawney! I laughed, reading the sign. The big silvery bus occupied space in a church parking lot.  Facing the road, it was positioned in just the right way for me to see it.

Punxsutawney!  The town in Pennsylvania where the famous groundhog makes his official debut to forecast the weather each year. The classic movie, Groundhog's Day, with Bill Murray, is a great message on how to wake up in this dream world.

Punxsutawney! What were the odds?

Suddenly inspired, I hurried home for my camera as proof that it really did happen! I knew the angels wanted me to lighten up. To have more faith and not be deceived by my senses. And, although there were many challenges, to stay in the moment, and have faith that everything was working out for my highest good as well as others.

Happy Groundhog's Day!  And no matter what the groundhog predicts in his forecast,  try to accept the gift of each moment and live it fully.  Rise and shine!  Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen
