Window in the Sky: An Angel Message

An old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, and can be the medium of angel messages  at times.  It may seem like nothing extraordinary is happening until my focus shifts ever so slightly, and I get a joyful glimpse through an expansive lens of the big picture.

That's what happened at  Mission Nombre de Dios in St. Augustine last week.  A thunderstorm was brewing when Elliot and I arrived, so we decided to wait it out in the parking lot rather than drive back to the hotel.  After a torrential downpour, and some heavenly rumblings, the sky cleared and we were able to go inside the Mission museum.

A seat was waiting at the far end with a spectacular view.   While taking a photo with my cellphone, I was surprised to see the reflection of the cross on the cloudy museum windowpane.  It made an unforgettable picture.   A giant window appeared in the sky with a view of the giant cross.

With all of the adversity happening now, I don't know anyone who isn't carrying a cross of some kind.  It could be a failing relationship, a health issue, or a financial set back.  Whatever it may be, it is comforting to know there is more happening in the unseen realm than we realize.

It did seem to me as though God's angels were revealing a gigantic hidden window on the world, a window of faith, where blessings will pour forth.

Angels are with us to help and to guide, to protect and to comfort. Our trials are gifts to help us grow and come up higher in consciousness, to be all that we can be. I was so thankful for the message that came through the storm.  A message of trust and faith and gratitude for each passing moment, and to expect good for God is ever present.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Ding! World Service Bell: An Angel Message

While I was sitting on the sofa, getting ready to meditate, Hei-Hei hit the silver world service bell with his paw!  A first for him. A metallic DING rung out in the early morning air.  Like Clarence, the second-class angel told George Bailey, in the classic movie, It's A Wonderful Life: "Every time a bell rings, an angel is getting his wings."

Elliot and I had a good laugh.  You gotta love that Hei-Hei!  Often he has delivered angel messages in playful ways.

World Service Bell

I was thankful for the reminder.  We can each serve the world by ringing for angelic assistance. With the many faceted heartbreaking disasters, the world is in need of divine intervention. Our prayers are the leavening to raise human consciousness and bring more Christ light.

It's comforting to know that I can be helpful by quieting my mind, and serving up  a prayer for peace.  Heavenly help is ever present, so why not make the time to ask to be a blessing.

Thank you, Angels for all that you do to help us awaken to our divinity.  Thanks Hei Hei for the reminder to ring the world peace bell and watch what happens. It doesn't have to be a physical bell, just a little willingness to be of world service by taking time to pray throughout the day.

DING!

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

A Rainbow!

The past two weeks have brought daily thunder showers, soaking the garden.  The lawn has turned bright green and is growing tall in need of a good mowing.

Last night's downpour brought an early evening surprise.

A rainbow over the house!  The sky was drizzling as I stepped outside to get this quick photo.  It's been a long time since I've seen a rainbow. The sun shining through the clouds brings a promise of hope.   A most welcomed sign of peace and prosperity.

Enjoy your day with the angels.  And, watch for signs and wonders.

Love and joyful blessings,

Passing Our Tests with Patience and Peace: An Angel Message

Many years ago, I learned an important lesson about keeping a good attitude when challenges present themselves.  It's not the challenge itself, but our reaction to it that counts.

One morning, long before dawn, an annoying little mosquito buzzed by my ear, waking me up.  Not wanting to disturb my peaceful state of mind, I tried to think of the sound as a merry tune of love.  If God is All in all, then even a tiny mosquito must share in this loving substance of Life.

With that loving thought, I nodded off again, enjoying a little more sleep...until my troublesome troubadour did another "fly by."

This time, my patience was thin, and I aggressively swatted the air and hid under the comforter to avoid the early morning pestilence.

As I laid there, with my head under the covers, I got to thinking about the power of that tiny insect. Compared to my size, that little bug was way out of his league.  Yet, I let this little "thing" disturb my peace.  That pest was a lot like my ego, circling my head with menacing thoughts, trying to challenge my identity as a Child of God, a spiritual being, made perfect in His image and likeness.

I got out of bed with more conviction to watch my thoughts.   To stand guard at the door of my mind and arrest any disturbing ideas that may try to enter.  I wanted to see peace, first.

It wasn't long before I was put to the test.

With renewed conviction, I began the morning meditation.  Before long, my neighbor's stereo rattled our windows playing  "Riders in the Storm."  I found the timing and lyrics amusing.  Halfway smiling, I decided to go with the blaring decibels and not lose my peace in the Storm. To go within and be present with God.  External conditions had no power over my inner peace unless I let them.

Peacefully, I finished the meditation.

All went well until later that morning another test appeared.

While working in my little den, Angel, our tuxedo cat jumped up on my laptop. Her furry body blocked my view as I tried to blog.  She refused to move so I patiently put her down on the floor.

In a defiant leap she flew to the file cabinet and jumped up knocking my Kindle reader to the floor.  It hit so hard, I was afraid it was broken. That's when I lost it.   Angel took flight in a streak of black-and-white fur, along with my peace.

I picked up the Kindle, afraid to open the book cover.

When I lifted the purple lid, the screen instantly lit up with an amazing ad.
Goosebumps rippled as I stared at the featured book ad: ANGEL WINGS!

I could almost feel the laughter of angels at my look of surprise.  I mean, what were the chances?
ANGEL WINGS KINDLE PROMO

 I couldn't believe the timing!

I looked twice, bursting with laughter.  Angel Wings!

Not only was the Kindle reader in great condition, but it had been a tool for Angel cat to deliver a timely message in a playful way. The synchronicity taught me to see more clearly how all seeming adversity has a touch of divine order whether I may like it or not. In other words, all things work together for good...eventually...so lighten up!

Later that morning, my logical mind wanted to check the Kindle again to see if the angel ad was still there. Angel Wings no longer lit up the main screen, but the angels had made a lasting impression on the divine timing and order of all events.  Everything is in divine order.

The book title,Angel Wings was the message for me.  Not the book, just the title.

I love the creative medium of angel communications.  An unexpected word  from a friend, a synchronous license plate, a jingle on the car radio, or even a testy moment with a feisty feline named Angel that illustrates how patience and peace are the keys to getting my angel wings.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

A Surprise Pod: An Angel Message

Happy Father's Day!  This morning a third pod from our star orchid bloomed. (The neglected straggly plant that had been left outdoors after its last bloom last year.)   When I set it on the mantle, I noticed it had a third small pod, sealed tight, I didn't think it had a chance to bloom like the other two.

But I was wrong.

A few days ago, I was guided to add a loving spoonful of water to the potted plant. That TLC may have boosted its flower power.  Just another reminder for me not to judge based on appearances--lots of wonderful things are in the works, yet to appear in the physical.   So relax and let things be as they are.

Enjoy your day with the Angels and try to remember that a spoonful of love goes a long way.

Love and joyful blessings,

What Are You Putting Out There? An Angel Message

Many years ago,  a lesson on sound waves wafted in when our next door neighbor installed a mega CB antenna.  Like a giant space needle, it stuck up above his roof hanging out with the towering hardwood trees. Elliot and I joked that Jim could hear music all the way from China!

Something amusing happened during his first transmission.  In the early morning, our little blue boom box picked up Jim's conversation with a distant CB pal.  Awakened by a bedroom full of static  and our neighbor's booming voice, we tried to figure out how his broadcast could be coming through.

Later, when he was told about his privacy issue, Jim tried to ground the antenna even more.  But the next morning, before he went to work, his frequency was still coming through loud and clear in crackling conversation on politics.

Although Jim has since moved on, his long-term vacant house recently had an extreme makeover, awaiting new residents.  But that tall towering CB antenna remains.  A reminder for me to watch what I'm putting out there.

Amazing how invisible sound waves are constantly moving in the upper atmosphere, broadcasting our conversations.  So our loving angels are in constant communication,  broadcasting peace, love, harmony, and joy.

When our desire is to tune in to their high frequency band, inspirational thoughts can come to mind and be put into play.  With our consciousness attuned with the angels, we, too, can pick up and receive heavenly inspiration.  Creative thoughts can come to mind and be put into play.  Ways to lead happier, fuller lives while joyfully serving others.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Flower of Life Symbol: An Angel Message

Some of you may be familiar with the Flower of Life. I first heard of it in the mid 90's while attending the Conclave of Archangel Michael in Banff, Canada.  I recognized the flower as one I doodled as a child.  Little did I know that it was one of the oldest symbols known to man.  The Flower of Life was inscribed on Pyramid walls by the Egyptians over 6,000 years ago.  The simple visual symbol can be found in temples, art, manuscripts and cultures from all over the world.

As you can see, the pattern of  overlapping circles forms the Flower of Life, that so beautifully illustrates the inter-relatedness of all that Life weaves together in an infinite six-petaled flower pattern.  It you look at another way, you can see its comprised of repetitious ribbon like straight lines that move in multiple directions.

Leonardo da Vinci studied its form and mathematical properties.   Throughout history, artists, architects and philosophers have known the Flower of Life symbol for its perfect form, proportion, and harmony.

Several weeks ago,  DaVinci's Flower of Life Challenge turned up at a neighborhood yard sale.  I would have missed it, but my son pointed out the board game on a table just as we were about to leave empty-handed.  A bit of synchronicity was at play as he had been reading a book on Leonardo daVinci.

The Flower of Life is a  simple visual reminder that everything is connected to everything else.  Every person is connected to every other person.  Some connections are more obvious than others, but everything relates to everything else.  So what we do to another, we do to ourselves, on some level, as we are all part of the whole.

This morning while out for a walk, I spotted Dan Brown's DaVinci Code in the little library book box window as I passed by.  More synchronicity, the language of the angels, abounds in our little neighborhood.

Enjoy your day with the angels.  Everything we do and think sets energy in motion and shapes what will unfold somewhere within our life. My goal is to be more loving and kind.  By the way, years ago my husband was shown, if he squinted, he could see a tiny six-pointed star formed in the center of each Flower of Life.  I loved the reminder that we are all Light.

Love and joyful blessings,

Then...there were Two! An Angel Message

More confirmation in the art of just letting things be happened this week.  The second wild orchid pod pushed its way open, without any help from me, not even a drop of water.  This beautiful exotic plant had been forgotten in the garden after it shed its final bloom last year. I took it to the garden and tucked it underneath the shelter of a palm plant.  And, as I shared in a recent blog, I caught a glimpse of purplish pink as I sat on the garden bench enjoying the morning sun.  What joy to see that it had bloomed on its own, a gift from nature, just when I needed the message to let go.

So, if you're feeling like you have to do something to make something happen, sometimes the best thing we can do is just let nature take its course, unless otherwise directed.  It's all part of a divine plan that is on schedule, teaching us patience as well as some other needed virtues, like humility, unconditional love, and forgiveness.  Sometimes our desire to push things along, to do it my way, to force an issue, can thwart the growth and hold up the natural flow.

I'm so thankful for these sweet nature messages from the angels.  Trust is at the very heart of each problem, and the answer is always Love.  The angels remind me to relax, and know that God is in control and all is well in spite of appearances.

Enjoy your day with the angels.

Love and joyful blessings!

Angels Give a Helping Hand: An Angel Message

During last night's meditation, our silence was interrupted by a loud crash in the kitchen.  Hei-Hei was up to something.  He was up on top of the kitchen cabinets. Everything on high seemed to be untouched...the teapots, cookie jar, and antique bottles.    Then I saw my favorite little angel statue had fallen off the windowsill and was laying on the kitchen counter.

To my dismay, her tiny outstretched hand had broken off, and was laying in the sink.  At least it was a clean break, but I wondered what the message may be.  An angel losing her right hand didn't seem like a positive sign.
And this was a special angel to celebrate the 1,000th Angel for You blog. Nine years of blogging about the power and presence of the angels.  I turned her over to read the label.  The sweet angel holding the little blue bird, went well with the statue's title: "Sing The Prayer in Your Heart."

As I sadly picked up the tiny angel hand in the sink, my son spotted a little treefrog, clinging to the kitchen windowpane, near where the angel had stood. I smiled.  So playful Hei-Hei must have knocked the angel from the sill while trying to reach the frog.

Elliot was going to glue the angel's hand back on, but it was getting late so I suggested waiting until tomorrow.

This morning while on the porch, an angel thought wafted in about the message. The angel was symbolic of giving me "a hand".  This blue bird angel had been posted on the windowsill by an old photo of my son and me taken many years ago.  The angel is going to help us.  I smiled as the treefrog's appearance was another reminder to Fully Rely On God.

I'm so grateful for these powerfully uplifting visual messages.  A wonderful reminder that our angels are always ready to give us a helping hand. All we have to do is remember to ask and be grateful for their loving service.

Enjoy your day with the angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Special Delivery: An Angel Message

Our little Hei-Hei sleeps quietly on the front porch throughout the night, but long before 6 a.m., he starts his day by rattling the screen on our bedroom window.  Sleepily, I silently ask the angels for harmony--for him to settle down a little longer until I can wake up more fully before planting my feet on the floor.   This buys me about fifteen minutes as long as I remain quiet and don't speak to him, but send love.

To my surprise when I opened the front door early this morning to greet him, he had a message for me.  A  little piece of white paper was on the welcome mat where he patiently waited for me to let him in for breakfast.  I smiled, picking it up.

That tabby cat had taken one of the old fortune cookie sayings off the table and been chewing on it. Curious, I wondered which one, recognizing a special angel delivery. Although the words on the fringes were missing, I could decipher the wisdom.

"We make a living by what we get,
but we make a life by what we give."

Oh how I love that feisty furry feline, reminding me of the importance of giving.  Angels deliver messages in very interesting and fun-filled ways, but the most important thing is for the message to get through.  That's why I'm learning how important it is to pay attention to details.  God is in the details.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings!
