When All Seems Lost...Pray: An Angel Message

 It was hard to watch, but I knew it was important to hold the peace. In quantum physics, it is the observer that influences the environment he/she is seeing.  Our perceptions influence our surroundings, and thanks to a squirrel and a pair of hawks I learned a lesson.   

Our resident acrobatic squirrel was at it again, cleaning out the birdfeeder.  It looked like a storm coming  as I watched peeking through the bedroom blinds. Spinning round with his head tucked inside the wood birdhouse, he missed out on an important change in his surroundings.  I saw a large red-shouldered hawk fly into the garden and perch on top of the garden crook supporting the bird feeder.

Even worse, a second hawk soon flew in from the pasture and perched on the garden flag looking up at a lesson  unfolding.  The odds were against our squirrel, who kept eating away...oblivious to everything but filling his belly. 

The hawk had patience.  The squirrel was tucked under the feeder roof, not easily accessible to attack at the moment.  And, if I interfered, I could frighten the squirrel who might make a run for it...and that wouldn't have ended well.

I knew it was important to keep watch...to hold the space...and an angel thought came to me to pray The Lord's Prayer.  As I began to pray aloud it wasn't until I was almost done, the danger passed when the watchful hawk gave up and flew away toward the pasture.   Soon, the other hawk did the same.  Peace prevailed and I'd learned again the power of prayer and relying on unseen spiritual help.  There is more going on than meets our physical eyes.  The Unseen realm is real.

The Lord's Prayer brings healing...the words have power when prayed in earnest.  

I was thankful for the lesson that when a situation looks utterly hopeless, don't despair, pray and hold fast to the truth.  "Thy kingdom come!"  The harmony of being available in every now.
