It must have been one of those angel nudges that planted an idea to give the back patio a boost. Neglected for over a year or more, I began by checking out the old blue table umbrella to see if it still had any life left in it. Folded up and faded, I tried to turn the handle. Stubborn to give, I lifted up the canvas to take a peek. Slowly, the handle got going, and was I in for a big surprise.
As the blue canopy began to open wider and wider, it seemed I'd been sent on a rescue mission. Three pale tree frogs were clinging to the umbrella branches. Whenever a frog appears, I take it as a reminder of the acronym to Fully Rely On God... F.R.O.G it.
Soon the frogs were active, gills pumping, climbing up to the top vent of the umbrella, giving each other a boost.
I was thankful for the angel message from nature to keep looking up. The best is yet to be. Psalm 91 is a wonderful umbrella prayer I use daily. When we abide in The Secret Place of the Most High, God will protect and shelter us under His Wings, we can trust.
Love and peace,
Rae Karen
