A Memorial Weekend Messenger of Light: Angel Message

On Saturday afternoon the heavy rains and thunderstorm finally passed. The dry earth was soaked again, the lawn a lush green.  Matilda, a favorite old tree, reached up in gratitude for the refreshing waters had soaked her thirsty branches.  A lone red hawk landed on the black cable, feathers drenched as he gently swayed watching out for fresh opportunities.  I was sitting in the sun-room thankful for the peace...now that the storm had passed...when my attention was drawn to something unusual on our new American flag at the end of the sidewalk.

From a distance, it appeared as though a dragonfly had lighted upon the flag pole posing for an amazing picture?  Really?

With my camera zooming through the misty windowpane, I focused on a glorious sight.  A beautiful turquoise dragonfly had crowned Old Glory.  An uplifting  message to believe in the power of Light.   A wonderful symbol of faith and trust on Memorial weekend. Her iridescent wings circled the flag in a dance of  little rotations, only to resume her stance on the golden flag tip.  A finial, a beacon of light, at rest above the stars and stripes. I was thankful for the ample opportunities to try and get it right.

You can see her lacy wet wings were folded forward in prayer...  God bless America.

Without a nudge from the angels, I could have missed the divine timing of this important little detail, delivered simply and directly.  A soggy little dragonfly's big light-filled message of hope for our country and the world. God is in the details.  How blessed we are to be in the company of God's angels, pure intuition, passing to each of us healing messages of light to help us see beyond the illusion of separation from divine Love.  Storms come to pass...and all things are brought to Light. We are children of the Light.

Love and peace,

Unfurling Old Glory: An Angel Message

There's something hidden that will soon unfold for America.  That's the angel message that caught me by surprise this morning while tending the yard.  Our little American flag was still standing, having survived the relentless gusting high winds of Hurricane Milton.  I bent down to unfold the red, white and blue flag. Tucked safely inside the damp folds of Old Glory, a large ancient-looking moth had sought refuge in the storm, clinging to the wet fabric!  The likes of which I'd never seen.

Curious, a search on-line revealed the name of our rare messenger.  A Banded Sphinx.

Moths are symbols of internal (inner) calling, and bring a message to seek knowledge and engage fully with the world around us.  Like a moth we're all on a quest, moving toward the light of understanding.  Moths also have a strong sense of smell.  Pay attention to what smells right to you before taking action.

God bless America, and may the Lord "stand beside her and guide her through the night with a light from above."  How blessed we are to be in the company of God's angels. Nothing is impossible with God. God is Love.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen
