Archangel Raphael's Message of Courage

Be of good courage! Archangel Raphael wants to instill in our minds to not give up.  Too often when some challenge  presents itself we become depressed and lose hope.  This prevents the flow of divine love that may bring about a healing in body, mind, and spirit.  Archangel Raphael greeted the blind Tobias:  Be of good courage; thy cure from God is at hand."
Raphael's message is one of  having courage to believe.  Our prayers will be answered.  The ego doesn't want us to be still and listen.  Our help is from God only and it is at hand, for Divine Love provides wisely for all things we truly need.  Prayer is one of those means that is nearby, only a thought away. Here is a prayer for help:

"Most compassionate Archangel St. Raphael, who by a miracle wonderful in its simplicity restored the previous gift of sight to the blind Tobias, free my life, I beseech thee, from the blindness which afflicts and dishonors it, so that I may know things in their true aspect.  Never permit me to be deceived by appearances, but help me always to walk secure in the way of the divine Commandments.  Amen."

May Archangel Raphael, Angel of Light help guide us safely on the path home.

Karen

The Floral Apostles

Holy Week begins with palms and ends with lilies. Flowers are often apostles for me. On Saturday afternoon I saw a wonderful sign of the resurrection energy. This little flower caught my eye. It was blooming in a cement crack on the patio. Having pushed its way up into the sunlight of a new day, I was surprised to see it. A messenger for me that out of nothing suddenly comes something in the most hopeless situations. What is needed is just a little willingness... to keep pushing upward... and to leave the details to God. Although it may appear we are in a tight spot with no place to grow...don't give up hope. Everything necessary is already within us and at the right time we'll have a tremendous breakthrough.

The lotus was another floral messenger that day, teaching the same lesson. Although the water level at the lake had receded from the drought, there is enough to bloom in the muddy waters.
Both flowers were yellow, the color symbolizing faith.
The Zohar teaches, each flower has its angel, whispering, GROW! GROW! GROW!
Enjoy your day with the Angels.

A Question of Timing...

(International exhibition of Skydivers)

Angel cloud wings

Timing is everything... not only up in the air...but on the ground. Last weekend here in DeLand, we hurried to see the international skydivers exhibition in action. They represented many countries from around the world, but when we arrived the first day, the event was over. All the participants were lounging around, resting on benches and in tents. The energy clearly said it was all over. There was no schedule so we went back home.

The next morning we were guided to get up early and drive over to the field. What excitement to watch 11 planes each carrying 20 divers make a formation high in the sky. A simultaneous jump forming several rings, it took patience and accuracy to get everyone positioned. The clouds often covered the view, but we kept our eyes looking upward. It was a beautiful morning and the clouds were like white angel wings holding the space.

Before long, we watched as the sky filled with a cluster of colorful dots, like confetti sprinkling down from the heavens. A celebration of life.

The event was a good metaphor for me. When nudged to do something, don't procrastinate like we did the first day. And sometimes we have to wait for the clouds to disburse before we see the big picture.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Karen

The Perfect Spot

I took this photo at The Perfect Spot in Florida. A little sandwich shop at the local sky diving scene. What fun to eat lunch and watch the colorful chutes float by the restaurant window making a graceful landing. It looked like fun to open up and embrace the blue sky, so much so I wanted to give it a try. I wish I could say this is me you see, but I got cold feet when a dud chute dropped to the ground like a straight pin. Although riderless, that impression didn't give me the courage I needed to make a leap at that time.

I realized that when planning a leap of faith, it's good to pack your own chute, but without you, there is no action. Someone needs to pull the chord to take a ride. We may board the plane, fly up to the right elevation, but unless we follow through with a courageous jump, it's just another dud with good intentions. This is true for whatever we do, we must put ourselves into "it" in order to achieve success. When faced with trying out new things, I try to remember I am not alone, but in the company of God's Angels as I begin to take flight. So maybe next time...I'll take action at the perfect spot.

Wishing you a joyful day with your Angels.

Have Faith

The last picture I took on our photo safari the other day was a surprise. Pulling into a parking space at the shopping center, this license plate was facing us. The owner was loading groceries in her trunk when I asked if I could take a picture of her plate. She gave me a big smile and said, "Sure! I put a lot of thought into it."

Just now when uploading this photo, I got to thinking about her comment. Faith is something we need to put a lot of thought into. Thought makes way for action and action brings results. I read a funny quote a while back, "Ants are like doubts in the pants of Faith." Have you ever had a really great idea that stirred your passion only to have it fade as your ego opened the door to doubt and fear? Here's another quote that egged me on to step out in faith and just do it afraid. "Faith without guts is dead."

When we move through life with our Spirit, following inner guidance, and override the personality, miracles can happen and we quickly see that there is something far greater within us that is doing the work. All we need to do is show up, in faith, that there is more going on than meets the eye. When we walk by faith and not by sight, doors mysteriously open. Faith is what ignites success.

Angel blessings,
