More Ladybugs: An Angel Message

Ladybugs are at play again.  Yesterday's mail brought an offer for a ladybug rosary!  The picture of the red ladybugs, each one had seven spots, caught me by surprise.  I grinned in amazement.

I  knew Ladybugs are associated with the Blessed Mother, but I had no idea there is a ladybug rosary.  And, as I've shared before, ladybugs often appear as a sign of love from my Mom, Mary, now on the other side.  The sight of the colorful photo of the rosary brought such joy -- an abundance of ladybugs.  The little red beetle with its bounty of black spots, is a sign of good luck. In French her name means "good God's animal;"  in Spanish it means "little Mary;" in German, "Mary's beetle," and also Lord God's beetle;" and, in English, she is also known as "ladybird."

But more was to come.  Before 7 a.m. for the last two days, I've been on my knees, pulling up bags of thin long vines and straggly weeds in the garden.  This house has been home for the past 8 years, and our backyard is like a park, one that is in need of some tender loving care.  It felt good to get down and work with nature, combing out her tangles and thinning out overcrowded areas.  Gardening keeps me centered in the now, the beauty of the quiet sunlight, the song of the birds, and the cicada symphony ringing in the treetops.  Clipping along, I discovered not one, but three bright ladybugs on different bushes.   I smiled, and greeted each one, thankful for her precious blessing.

Enjoy your day, and be expectant of the loving angel messages that wing their way to you.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Ladybug Messengers: An Angel Message

How often do we look at things without really seeing them?  Then, a sudden shift in perception brings everything into focus, and we have clarity-- understanding the circumstances that led up to creating this exceptional moment.

In August, when my mother passed on, I inherited most of her angel collection. The June Angel, shown here, had been a birthday gift from a friend or relative.   Now, she watches on the kitchen windowsill.

Yesterday, I read an inspirational book on abiding in the Presence by inviting Christ to join us as we go about our daily activities.

This morning, I remembered to ask Him to be with me as I cleaned up the breakfast dishes.

While scrubbing the oatmeal bowls, my attention was drawn to the base of the June Angel statue.  I noticed the little red ladybug for the first time.

Ladybugs! I grinned.

They had mysteriously appeared on the window of our hotel room in abundance last weekend. (see previous blog).  The view of colorful fall foliage had tearfully reminded me of my mother and the autumn weekends we'd shared in Virginia with her over the years.  I was missing her.  More and more ladybugs were somehow coming through the sealed shut hotel window.  Elliot and I got busy escorting them downstairs and back out in the fresh air.

So the sudden sight of this little ladybug on Mom's birth Angel brought me joy.  Perhaps Mom, now an angel, was the heavenly inspiration behind all little ladybugs parading on our hotel window.

What comfort to know our loved ones never leave us. Powerful love binds us together.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and blessings,

Ladybugs: An Angel Message

Angel messages often come on "wings" of inspiration.  Some more deliberate than others, like the unusual gathering of ladybugs on our hotel window this past weekend. I noticed four crawling on the inside window pane in search of a way out in the sunshine. Giving a helping hand on the colorful autumn day, I quickly escorted them in a cup down five flights on the elevator. They seemed happy to be freed in the grassy area--their wish fulfilled. Elliot took the next group of three that emerged. Later two more ladybugs had come to join in the party.    Ladybug's appearance signals new happiness and wish fulfilled.  It was a joyful weekend as we were visiting our new granddaughter, Victoria.

Enjoy your day with the Angels, and watch for the many ways the angelic beings communicate to you with messages from Nature

Love and blessings,
