Answering the Call

Water can be a great conductor for psychic ability. Often when my hands are washing dishes, I get inspired by my guardian angel. A thought will suddenly pop up to call someone. Or it may be like a flash, a cameo glimpse of the person's face.  When it happens, I'm trying to honor these angel messages  by paying attention and making the time to trust the angel thought and follow-through on the guidance received, to send a card, make a phone call, or say a prayer.

I recall a time my hands were in soapy water and my thoughts drifted to a dear friend in a distant state. We hadn't spoken in quite awhile and suddenly I felt an urge to make contact.

After doing the dishes, I sat down in the living room, having forgotten the angel nudge.

It came again. A clear knowing to reach out to my friend.

Sipping my tea, thinking about making the call, the phone rang. It was her, wanting us to know about her brother's passing after a long illness.

We had a long, comforting phone visit that was inspiring and healing for us both.

In these troubled times, we can act as angels to one another, reaching out a helping hand or a word of encouragement. When our minds are still, our guardian angels can guide us to those who need our help the most.

 Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Angel Messages on the Road

On a recent trip, we hadn't gone very far when we saw this "Angelic" message on a truck in front of us on the highway.  I pulled out the camera and Elliot passed slowly by so I could capture this photo.

Angels deliver solutions in many different ways.  It was a good sign to know that we're not traveling the road of life alone, but in the wonderful, loving, joyful company of Angels.  "Linen Management Solutions." We had a good chuckle, knowing the angels are helping humanity with our "laundry."

Angels speak to every one but are we listening?  To hear angelic guidance, we must silence the clamor of our ego sense and cling to the unseen things of Spirit.  My favorite definition of an angel is given in her book, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy.

"God's thoughts passing to man; spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect; the inspiration of goodness, purity, and immortality, counteracting all evil, sensuality, and mortality."

One dictionary defines the verb "listen" as "to give close attention with the purpose of hearing." Knowing this, it is good to ask ourselves, "What am I paying close attention to:  Spirit or matter?"  The more we can dwell on the spiritual facts of being, the greater becomes our capacity for hearing divine messages.  Entertaining material thoughts exclusively blocks us from the beneficial influence of "spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect."

Enjoy your day with the Angels and listen...

Blessings on Angel Wings,

Karen
