By Leaps and Bounds: Angel Message

Yesterday's wait at Tires Plus was a lesson in patience as Elliot and I sat in the car in the heat of a hot summer day.  The ice cream store next door was closed on Mondays.  Looking up at fluffy white clouds, a tiny glint of color caught my eye.  Gliding ahead of giant billowy white clouds, a lone skydiver appeared.  Watching him sail the friendly skies after making a daring leap out of a plane at nearby Sky Dive Academy, I envied his bird's eye view on-high.

A rare treat, I zoomed in from an astronomical distance. Struggling to focus on what appeared like a tiny candy sprinkle on a vanilla-frosted cake, I asked the angels for help.  They delivered.  The colorful parachute canopy turned out to be a rainbow. An uplifting sign of God's promise of deliverance-- no matter how great the clouds in our life may loom.

The evening before, another surprise had graced our neighborhood.  On a walk, my son suddenly spotted a real rainbow, high up in the clouds, fading, but visible.

But something else happened during our wait at Tires Plus.  I spotted something move... ever so slightly. Straining to see, I could barely make out the unlikely brown form of a little frog that blended in with the pebbled concrete. I let out a laugh of disbelief, feeling the jolt of an angel tune-up. Really? A frog at the tire maintenance garage.

The angels were on a roll. The acronym for F.R.O.G.  Fully Rely on God.  Frog it!

To prove it really happened, I leaped out of the car. BOING! BOING!  Strong hind legs stretched to the max bouncing him up high in the air, in the shadows of the bushes by the TIRES PLUS SIGN.  In the blink of an eye, the brown frog sprang round the brick wall, and disappeared.  Only wisps of heat steamed the vacant parking lot.  Gone in a single bound, but not forgotten, I got it. Frog it!  NO matter how trying the circumstances of our trials may be, do your best and fully rely on God.

The skydiver and the leaping frog were playful angel messages to keep having faith on high.   And, we had been blessed with four new tires.

Joyfully watch for angel messages to come your way today to help you lighten up.  Isn't it wonderful that we are never alone? We have angels watching over us.  The best is yet to be.

Love, joy and peace,

Rainbow Hands of Light: Angel Message

On our anniversary trip, the ocean sunset was so beautiful from the balcony, that later, around 7 o'clock, an angel thought prompted me to open our back door on the second floor, and look to the west where the sun was setting.

I hopped up, and quickly opened the door wide, unprepared for a blast of brilliant light flooding the doorway. So bright, I couldn't look out, and retreated inside, shading my eyes.  That's when Elliot stepped up and joyously spotted a rainbow.  Look, you've got to see this!  A rainbow!

Not wanting to miss a rainbow, I snapped the camera, blindly toward the light, asking the angels for help to share a photo with you.

I was glad I listened to the angel guidance or I could have missed a golden pair of rainbow hands blessing the sky.  Then to my surprise, at the lower right-hand corner of the heavenly view, I saw the Great Cross was in the picture.  Across the miles, like an exclamation point, above the treetops.

A rainbow is a reminder of our greatest gift--to be one with God. God loves you and has sent his angels to watch over you.  The best is yet to come.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Sunday Morning Glory: An Angel Message

This morning hungry birds were waiting by the lake, hoping for a breakfast of cracked corn.  The water- logged grass squished under my feet as I greeted the happy flock.  Muscovy ducks,  Papa and Mama sandhill crane, and mallards.  What joy to find the missing family of six juvenile ducks all present and accounted for since the storm.

As you can see, the ducky's bright orange beak, with its blue tip, added color to the day.  Ducks are symbolic of emotional healing.  To let our heavy emotions roll off our back, like water on a duck's back...just head for the water, and keep paddling along in peace.

The swollen lake mirrored the sky in the morning sunlight. Native Americans saw a lake as a smile of Great Spirit.  In the Zohar, water is a code word for light.  The lake is abundant with fresh clean water, a renewal of Spirit, a baptism of sorts.

From a distance, I watched a large crane swoop down from the sky, a bird of creation, and creativity. He stood high on the power-line, looking at the sunlit lake. A reminder that all real power comes from above.

As we sat by the lake, I was cloud-watching, when I looked up higher, a rainbow had appeared. A wonderful sign of God's promise.

I'm thankful for the angels that guide us in all of our ways.  I owe a debt of gratitude to the birds.  They get me out of the house, and feed my heart a dose of nature's beauty and peace to begin each day.  A chance to be spontaneous and expectant of the joyful things of God.

Have a peaceful day, and remember you have a guardian angel by your side.  The best is yet to be.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Expect the Happy Things of God: An Angel Message

Before getting up this morning, I did some soul searching, shedding a few healing tears over the major sudden shocks that I experienced during the past several years.  It seems like everything that happened before this was just a warm up.  At times my body seems stuck in a keyhole between the 3rd and the 4th dimension.  Neither here nor there...  All the sudden shocks of the past are locked up.  My spirit is free, but my body is a work in progress.

I am reminded of how horses sleep in a standing-up position, with their legs locked so they won't fall down. At times a protective stance keeps me vigilantly braced for the next shock wave.  While also forcing me to live gratefully in the "now."

And, we've all faced severe shocks on our planet.   But the good news is sorrow never leaves us where it finds us.  These shocks can be used to boost our consciousness higher.  To leave earthly desires, and soar upward in the spiritual truth of our Identity.

So with these thoughts in mind, something very tender and amazing happened after I got out of bed.  An unexpected rain had quenched the earth.  Droplets hitting the roof.

If it hadn't been for Hei-Hei, the beautiful rainbow that graced the dawn sky would have gone unnoticed.  Our playful cat likes to pounce out on the porch first thing, but had been patient this morning.

When I happened to look up at the sky, what joy to find a beautiful rainbow...

And, then this little tree frog climbed up the porch beam, and clung near the metal top outside the door.   WOW! A rainbow and a green treefrog were promising messages to begin a new day.

A magnified look at the one-inch frog revealed more detail.  It had an unusual white racing stripe down the side of its green body.  The iridescent racing stripe started near its mouth.  Our words are our wand. A time for acceleration...   Speak words of good, true, eternal, light, love, patience, faith ...

I got it.

Because of its size, a phrase, "Don't budge an inch", came to mind, not sure if it was valid or not. An on-line search confirmed its meaning: "will not move, change, or shift in any way at all."  It came from Shakespeare.  Another reminder to not budge an inch, but stay in the consciousness of the eternal now, in gratitude for all the good God has already done.

I am so thankful for the angel messages to share from nature.  At these times of shifting sands, it is well to remember to (F)ully (R)ely (O)n (G)od.  "F.R.O.G. It!"

If you're reading this angel blog, the angels want you to know that you are dearly loved.  Do not be deceived by appearances.  Trust in God and listen for His guidance.  The best is yet to be.  Angels are watching over you always.  Expect the happy things of God to come to you today. You are a child of the Most High.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Rain to Rainbow: An Angel Message

With the angels on-board, sometimes you may find yourself heading out in one direction, then by mistake, you take a wrong turn. Only in hindsight, do you understand that the wrong turn ended up being exactly the right turn in the long run.   There are no accidents or mistakes in the divine plan.

That's what happened on Sunday afternoon.   Elliot and I were on a leisurely outing to visit our donkey friend at the rural orchid farm.   Taking an unfamiliar route to our destination, at the intersection, we weren't sure which way to turn on Route 11.  Asking the angels for help, we turned left and five miles down the rural two-lane highway, we realized our mistake.  We should have made a right to visit the donkey.

With nowhere to turn around, Elliot smiled and said, "I guess we're going to St. Augustine."

"Really!"  I clapped, thrilled by his spontaneity--usually the trip is overnight, and here we were on our way to my favorite place on earth, with no luggage.   Unexpected joyful tears of gratitude sprang up as I settled down to soak up the panoramic view of nature outside my window.  Towering pine tree forests hug both sides of the road.  Healing energy sustains a serene long stretch of nature, untouched by any sign of commercialism.  This wonderfully slow-paced rural route speaks to a simpler time.  Herds of brown and black cattle graze in green grassy fields;  huge metal grain silos dot the landscape; an old windmill spins round, and there are a sprinkle of houses, here and there.  It's a great stress reliever as you watch the expansive scenery go by.

I couldn't believe it!  I grinned.  We were going to St. Augustine on a whim!  A lone hawk soared overhead, guiding the way.  Doubts came as dark clouds began to form; rain was in the forecast. But we were on an adventure, expecting the best.

The rain held off on the hour's drive, with an occasional break in the clouds, to reveal a blue sky.  I couldn't wait to return to my favorite old city, God's City.

Approaching St. Augustine city limits, the sky suddenly opened up, dumping down heavy rain.  Amid the soft flapping of windshield wipers, I loudly affirmed, (with a touch of false bravado):  We're going to see a rainbow!

Traffic was moving as the rain pelted Ponce de Leon Boulevard in the Old Historic District. Now that we were almost at the Mission de Numbres, we couldn't let the weather dampen our spirits.  At least, we had an umbrella.

A bend in the road brought a wonder that seemed to good to be true.

Was there really a BIG colorful rainbow arching the road ahead?!

With the cellphone camera, I snapped away,  hoping to dodge the fast wiper blades, and capture the rainbow to share with you.  It was far better than finding any pot of gold.

By the time we arrived at the Mission, the sky was clearing, with only a drizzle.   I stood under an old oak and got this rainbow photo.

Rainbow at  Mission  12/29/19

Before long, the sun came out and we had a beautiful afternoon in prayer and meditation on the grounds by the inlet.  At the end of the day, an angel nudged to return home.  The guidance was good.

The return trip home was smooth, with little traffic through the pines.  Nearing our hometown, a small spiral rainbow appeared in the sky! We laughed, thanking the angels for the guidance-- rainbows in our going out, and in our coming in.  It had been a long time since we'd seen a rainbow.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.  Feel free to step out of the box, and have an adventure.  The more spontaneous, the greater the blessings can be when you invite the angels to join you.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Christmas Messages of Light: Angels

Our feisty feline, Hei-Hei, played a role in my finding an unexpected angel message this morning. A big rainbow radiating across the face of Christ Jesus!

Around 10 a.m., the cat and I were enjoying a fast-moving game of Hide and Seek.  On the run, I flew down the hallway, and hid behind the bedroom door.

That quick raccoon-tailed cat, with those bright shiny eyes, found me right away...

And, the chase was on again.

Making tracks through the dining room, I caught sight of something unusual.

A bright colorful rainbow!

It was shining on the Christ.  (A photo from a gift shop in California many years ago.)

The sunlight had created the beautiful bow, reflecting off of a sun-catcher hanging in the dining room window.

I stopped to take a look.  The rainbow Christ, the tall simple wood statue of the Virgin Mary, and the evergreen tree on the mantle all spoke of the mystery of Christmas.  I was so thankful to see it.

And, just as quickly as it appeared, the sunlight soon shifted-- the rainbow now only a memory, but the message not to be forgotten.  God's promise to all of His Children.  God is Love.  Let there be Light.

How are the angels speaking to you today?

(Hei-Hei in the Light early this morning)

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

A 7 p.m. Rainbow: An Angel Message

Yesterday's evening ride, through a nearby rural area, brought an unexpected gift.  A rainbow...without any rain.  A welcome sign of God's goodness and grace.

Enjoy your day with the angels.

The Search for All Good: An Angel Message

My little experiment to look only for the good this week brought many surprises.  First it felt like a cloud had lifted, and I could see more clearly all the goodness around me.  This bubble of good insulated me and brought joy on Monday.  An unexpected turkey special at the local cafe.  Carryout picnic in the backyard on a beautiful sunny day when rain had been in the forecast.  Expecting good was bearing fruit.  Later, when  I spotted a long fork-tongue sticking out of my potted bromeliads, that didn't even move me.  Elliot got up from the patio to take a closer look. His curiosity made a young black garden snake slither under the lattice and disappear in the vacant lot next door. That was good, too.  I'd been thinking of transplanting pink wildflowers from over there to our garden.  Now I knew better to keep my distance.  Snake brings a message of sudden change, transmutation. Anytime a snake appears, expect a death and rebirth to occur in some area of your life. It can also reflect your own creative forces are waking up.

The funniest thing happened later in the afternoon.  When I opened the living room door,  I discovered a cute little lizard on the front porch. He looked up at me as if he'd been patiently waiting to be set free. "Oh, you want to go out?" I asked, opening the porch door.

To my surprise, he walked toward it like a perfect gentleman.  It all happened so fast, I wondered if he really did leave.  It seemed too good to be true.  Maybe he scurried behind the lion statue. But when I checked, there he was on the sidewalk, smiling in the sunshine.    I was so surprised. It was that easy.  Usually these rascals need to be coaxed into a brown envelope and deposited outside.  Thank goodness, I'm beginning to see there is no fear, if I'm only seeing good everywhere.  Like attracts like.  Lizard is the expert at subtle perception. Also a symbol of letting go of old fears.

The best thing happened late Monday afternoon.  In spite of heavy, dark clouds gathering, Elliot and I made a trip to the local public library.  Large drops of rain splashed down on the windshield, but as we turned onto New York Avenue, the sky cleared.  A beautiful fine misty rainbow appeared in the direction we were heading.  So grateful for such a wonderful sign as I gazed up at it through the windshield.

I did notice something rather odd.  When I looked ever so slightly to the left, I could clearly see  the rainbow.  But when I looked, turning my head more toward the right, it was not there. I was reminded of a lenticular 3-D book marker that pictures a dolphin flipping back and forth.

Could it be the rainbow was refracting with such precision that I could only catch it on a certain angle? In that moment, I got a glimpse of seeing good.  It's always there... if I just make a little adjustment in my thinking.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

A Rainbow! Angel Communication

Long before sunrise this morning, I was up and selected an angel card messenger for today.  The Angel of Communication seemed important, but I wasn't sure what to write about...  Maybe a suggestion to reach out to someone I hadn't contacted in a long time.  Or maybe to just remember all of the wonderful ways God will communicate to each of us through His representatives.  The angel blog was put on hold.  After breakfast,  Elliot and I were prompted to go for a walk. A gentle "angel" nudge came to me to bring my phone for a photo, but I didn't pay attention.

Stepping out the front door, I noticed how the rain from last night made everything lush and green.  I stood in the yard admiring a bright yellow flowering bush. (Last year I almost gave it up for dead.) A light drizzle spritzed my face, and I looked up, wondering if we should walk.

That's when Elliot pointed to an amazing sight!  High above the trees, a big beautiful majestic rainbow arched the blue sky!

Like a joyful kid, I ran into the house to grab my phone to get a picture.  Through a sunny mist, I snapped away, hoping to capture the colors before they faded.  I knew the rainbow was a powerful sign to be shared.

I love it!  A rainbow is like a sermon in nature:  "Look up!  Something wonderfully beautiful is happening.  The storm is over, and this is what it brought! Hallelujah!"

We hurried to walk underneath the colorful arch, feeling the glow of its blessing.

To me, the rainbow speaks of God's greatness, His Love, His majesty and promise as we lift up our eyes.
Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him
Psalm 37:7

Enjoy your day with the Angels, and listen for their gentle, loving nudges. Then step out in faith.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Angel of Transformation and Synthesis

Today two angels stuck together when I reached for a card from the angel bowl.  What a pleasant surprise, both were associated with the rainbow!  Rainbows continue to be a theme and show up in surprising ways.  Yesterday at the lake, the fountain spray reflected the sunlight in a warm array of rainbow colors.

At this time of spiritual transformation, the angels encourage us to keep the faith.  More is going on than we can understand so trust in the Love of God to break through any clouds. Call on the Angels of Transformation and Synthesis today and see what happens.

Peaceful blessings,

Rae Karen

Another Rainbow Angel Message

Sunday evening while sitting on the porch, it was almost sunset when another rainbow appeared in the sky across the street.  I got a glimpse of it with the cellphone camera.

These wonderful signs in nature encourage our thoughts to come up higher.

We never know how high we are
Till we are called to rise;
And then, if we are true to plan,
Our statures touch the skies.
                          --Emily Dickinson

We have help with our spiritual acceleration. Thank goodness, the angels are here in full force.  Watch and pray for divine assistance.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Rainbow in the Clouds: An Angel Message

Try to be a rainbow in someone else's cloud.
                                                             --  Maya Angelou

The angels speak the language of synchronicity.  The evening of 11/11 on our way to dinner, the angels directed our attention to a circular rainbow!  There it was high up in the clouds!  A wonderful sign of hope.

The morning after the election, I was feeling blue and turned to something green for healing.  Kermit the Frog singing The Rainbow Connection.  You can listen here:https://youtu.be/S2DTLbTQj0I?list=RDS2DTLbTQj0I

After finding this rainbow photo on line this morning, the angels guided me to the perfect companion quote.   Enjoy listening to Maya Angelou's wisdom on rainbows and clouds on youtube.

An Iris Beam: An Angel Message

Yesterday afternoon while sitting on the couch, my attention was drawn to a bright shaft of light.  Its unusual presence brought a smile as it appeared to beam from the iris painting on the wall!

I thanked the angels for the message!  Iris not only represents the promise of the rainbow, but over the years has been a symbol that I'm following the right path, so don't be fooled by outer appearances.

When we are faithful to divine guidance, the light of understanding will break through the mists.

Have a joyful day with the Angels and watch for signs of God's Love for you.

Joyful blessings,

The Redeeming Angel, Metatron, and the Rainbow

(Rainbow at Washington Monument from Wikimedia Commons)

Synchronicity led me to The Zohar where I came upon an interesting passage about the rainbow in Volume 7.

"...NAMELY there are angel messengers in the world which revolve and turn into several shapes, sometimes female and sometimes male, now Judgment and now Mercy, and all that is the same matter.  In the same manner, this angel has many shapes, and all the colors, WHITE, RED, and GREEN, of the world, THE NUKVA, are in this place.  This is the mystery of:

"As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about.  This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Hashem." (Ezekiel 1:28)

THE APPEARANCE OF THE BOW, THE NUKVA, contains the three colors.  Since the angel has three colors, he leads the world.  (The redeeming angel, METATRON, receives blessings and then bestows them upon the world.  This angel is male when procuring blessings for the world and is female when there is judgment in the world.)

I was looking for a rainbow to go with the blog, and found this one of the Washington Monument.
The capstone of this 555'  obelisk has the inscription laus deo, "Praise God."  When we put God first all things are possible.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and blessings,

Karen

A Rainbow!

As when the rainbow, opposite the sun
A thousand intermingled colors throws.
With saffron wings then dewy Iris flies
Through heaven's expanse, a thousand varied dyes
Extracting from the sun, opposed in place.

    --Virgil (70-19 B.C.)

After the much needed rainfall over the past week, it was a wonderful gift to see a rainbow.

One of the most widely held traditional beliefs is that the rainbow is a bridge between heaven and earth, between the divine realm and the human world.  It is a symbol of hope, peace, and brotherhood.  Because a rainbow most often follows a thunderstorm, its unexpected colorful appearance represents a sign of peace after a conflict.  A new beginning.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and blessings,

Karen

A Beautiful Rainbow Cloud

Thursday afternoon on our way to a spiritual meeting, I saw the most beautiful sight in the sky over the high school in town.  A large white cloud had spiral wisps of iridescent rainbow colors swirling out from it.  So amazed, I gasped, "Elliot,  pull over!"  He panicked, thinking something was wrong with the car.  Then I pointed out the rainbow cloud.  Before it faded, I captured a few pictures with my cellphone, but I can't transfer them to the computer.

The sky was as if we'd caught a glimpse of heaven.  Colors like I'd not seen before...and the adjacent long flat low lying clouds had a celestial touch as well.  Elliot marvelled at the face of Mother Mary appearing in that cloud.  It was such a wonderful omen and a sacred moment. The message of hope and faith.  No matter how big the cloud may be in our life right now, the rainbow of God's Love is shining through.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Blessings,

Karen

Rainbow on 11/11

Early yesterday evening while driving to Daytona Beach it was a wonderful omen to see this rainbow shining through the clouds.  It was odd as there had been no rain, just a little sprinkle as I stopped to take this photo.  The Angels are reminding everyone to have faith that more is going on than meets the eye.  Don't let the dark clouds of doubt and fear chase away your joy, what is hidden will be revealed.

Blessings,

Karen

The Hidden Rainbow

The clouds are really big here in Florida.  The past week, like clockwork, they roll in during the late afternoon.  Rain comes, watering the lawn and flowers, giving me a reprieve.  Yesterday afternoon something amazing happened. We were about to get in the car when my attention was drawn to a bright white mountainous cloud behind me.  High up in the sky, through a large portal in the center, I could see a patch of blue sky, along with part of a rainbow tinged in golden light! I wanted to run back in the house and get my camera but it soon faded out of sight.

I was thankful for this beautiful metaphor in the sky, teaching me that those big thick clouds are like my ego thoughts blocking out the joy of truth--the rainbow of God's promise is there all the time.  In reality, the clouds have only the power I give them with my mind. Today I'm going to be more vigilant for what thoughts I'm entertaining.  Love or fear?  One is real and the other a misperception.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Blessings,

Karen

Happy Easter!

What joy to find Jesus' forehead lit up with a rainbow this morning. The glass wind chime sun catcher hanging in the living room delivered a perfect message. He has risen!

Many blessings,
