Bumble Bee: An Angel Message

The angels delivered a message today. When we returned home from the post office, we found a need for a special delivery. We heard the loud buzzing of a large bumble bee fitfully batting its wings against the living room window. His constant quest to break free was thwarted by the window pane, but he was convinced this was the only way out.

With compassion, Elliot grabbed a large envelope and a ruler. We asked the angels to help escort the fuzzy winged one into the envelope. After a little coaxing, the buzzing stopped and the bee seemed to feel a safe presence of love. In less than a minute, Elliot carried the buzzing envelope outside and watched the grateful bumble bee take flight on a beautiful spring day.

Sometimes we too may feel as though we are doing the right thing, but making no progress. In prayer, an Unseen Loving Hand will come when asked and deliver us to great freedom.

In Animal-Speak, "Bees are long time symbols for accomplishing the impossible. The bee reminds us that no matter how great the dream, there is the promise of fulfillment if we pursue it."

The Legend of the Sand Dollar

The Legend of the Sand Dollar

There's a pretty little legend
That I would like to tell
Of the birth and death of Jesus
Found in this lowly shell.

If you examine closely,
You'll see that you will find here
Four nail holes and a fifth one
Made by a Roman's spear.

On one side, the Easter Lily
Its center is the star
That appeared unto the shepherds
And led them from afar.

The Christmas poinsettia
Etched on the other side
Reminds us of His birthday
Our Happy Christmastide.

Now break the center open
And here you will release
The five white doves awaiting
To spread Good Will and Peace.

This simple little symbol,
Christ left for you and me
To help us spread his Gospel
Through all eternity.

Many years ago when I found this legend, I must admit I was a doubting Thomas. It was tempting to just crack open the beautiful large white sand dollar on our dresser. The one we bought from a gift shop at the oceanfront... but it didn't seem like a good idea to ruin a thing of beauty for curiosity's sake.

Then one day it happened. I accidentally knocked the shell off the dresser while reaching for a white feather sticking out of my Course in Miracles book. Sadly, I picked up the sand dollar. It was chipped across the top like the opening of an envelope. The accident was such a fluke, I wondered if the Holy Spirit was prompting me to look inside.

Were there really five white doves?

Elliot watched as I carefully cracked open the hollow shell. Sure enough, in amazement, I counted five perfectly formed tiny white doves! I took the fragile little doves and put them in my God Box, each one perfectly formed with feather like markings on its tiny wings. God is in the details and His gifts, sometimes hidden, are waiting to be revealed. Inner peace is the goal with Christ regardless of our circumstances.

We thanked the Holy Spirit for setting the doves free, to spread good will and Peace out into the world.

Enjoy your day with the angels and be at peace.

Through A Keyhole: An Angel Message

Lately, I've been feeling as if my physical body is being squeezed through a tight keyhole. I'm both here and there. The past is behind as I get a glimpse forward of a new beginning. Transformation is in the works for us all. Our consciousness is being molded to "unlock"a door into a higher dimension. The pressure is intense as we pare off old unresolved patterns that block our entrance. Embracing these challenges in gratitude quickens the process to ascension.

Here's a helpful passage from the Ascended Masters Teaching Foundation in the late 50's:

"If one could only realize that this "bombardment" is but the return of one's own energy which is "called in" by the Cosmic Law ere one can pass through the portals of freedom, that one would not feel so resentful or rebellious. A realization of this would save you from depression and doubt, and you would know that in that very pressure and stress of circumstances there was a promise that the Hierarchy knew you were ready to "handle" the energy and to have the glory of the ascension--so every moment becomes an opportunity to "balance your account" until the "red ink runs dry." (Printz Private Bulletin, Book 1, p. 278)

There is power in the spoken word. "Thou shall decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee" is an ancient maxim that can help us bridge the gap between the material and the spiritual.

"I AM calling the Angels of the Violet Consuming Flame to pour Their Sacred Fire Love in and around me."

"I AM calling forth the Master Power of the Cosmic Violet Flame Angels' Love in and around me. I ask to see the fulfillment of my calls."

You can also call on the Holy Spirit's Violet Flame to dissolve all misqualified energy in and around you. Then visualize a living Violet Flame rising up from your feet, shooting high over your head melting away any resentments, fears, unforgiveness, etc. I think of the Violet Flame as the cool sacred healing fire of God's Mercy, Love, and Forgiveness.

Joyful blessings,

Never Alone

One thing I've learned that helped me and I've used it quite often lately. When I can catch myself as I lean into fear and begin to stress out, if I remember the words of the angels used over and over in the Bible, "Fear not." With that comforting thought, I feel peace knowing that whatever crisis I may be facing, I am not alone. I am always in the presence of God and the Angels. It has worked time and again, especially if I start to worry about a loved one in the throes of a major challenge. May you feel the peace and the loving presence of your Angels today.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

The Best Book is Self

Books are like old friends that come to visit us for awhile, educating, entertaining and enlightening. They never leave us where they find us. Our consciousness is transformed by the experience.

I found this old fashioned painting at a yard sale, reminding me of my own summer vacations growing up. I looked forward to a trip to the library, returning home with a large stack of books. I hurried to my room to lose myself in a good mystery. I didn't know then that life itself was a mystery, with two entirely different stories playing out in my mind, one the truth and the other fictional.

There is a large sign that speaks volumes that is perfectly posted above the entrance  to the Edgar Cayce library in Virginia Beach.  "The best book is Self," caught my attention. The quote came from Edgar Cayce reading 452-3.  I knew he was not referring to my personal lower self, but to the Christ Self within the Mind of each of us.

The theme continued when Elliot pointed out a book by Katie Byron, Who Would You Be Without Your Story? The title cracked me up because deep down the ego's bottom line is usually, "It's all about me!" In truth, we are spiritual not material, made in the image and likeness of our Creator. While we each have a story, it doesn't define who we really are. Our journey is to uncover the shadow side and dissolve it into the light.

By the way, if you are looking for a wonderful resource site for books on-line, you may want to check out forgottenbooks.orgIt has a good number of spiritual books, too, that you may find helpful.

Enjoy your day with the angels.

A Leap from the Lion's Head: An Angel Messenge

I had to chuckle when I saw our cat, Angel, perched on top of Judah, the lion. Her deliberate pose reminded me of the movie, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade.

Indy, our hero must make a choice in his perilous quest to find the Holy Grail.  His search had led him to a steep precipice with no visible way to cross the abyss to get to the other side. The clue he must follow appears to be a deadly one; "Only in a leap from the lion's head will he prove his worth."

Sometimes it takes a leap of faith into the void, like Indy did to discover hidden support that opens the way so we can continue on to help others.

                                       Now faith is the substance

                                       of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.
                                                 Heb.11:1

Enjoy your day with the Angels.
