Hippity Hoppity Easter's On Its Way

This morning as I sat up in bed, I saw a big brown rabbit hopping along the trail in the meditation garden. A wonderful omen that Easter is on its way. To our surprise, soon another hare appeared. An another. Three! Elliot and I watched their white cotton tails race back and forth across the tall grass, zigzagging between the field and the woods. They were so animated Elliot laughed. "The Angels must be having fun putting on quite a show with the rabbits. " It was a comical sight that brought great joy as I have a tender heart when it comes to those wascally wabbits.

The hare symbolizes new life and rebirth. Fertility. The word Easter is derived from the Saxon goddess Eostre to whom the hare was sacred. Hares sleep outdoors in something that looks remarkably like a lapwing's nest and in spring the nests are filled with eggs. The Christian version becomes the moon-determined time of Easter when the appearance of bunnies and painted eggs marks the time of the resurrection of Christ.
May the spirit of Easter shine upon you and light your days with happiness.

Many blessings,
Karen

They're Back!

A funny thing happened yesterday after I posted about the missing pics. Oddly, I was at peace. There wasn't anything else I could do about it. I had called for angelic intervention. Then I scrolled upward. LOL the sunrise picture had returned with the others! Only two photos were still missing. The Angels came through! Once again, I am learning the power of non-reaction and just accepting what is. That doesn't mean I have to like it, but with no resistance, a solution comes quicker. Thank you, Angels for all your loving help.
Remember the Angels in your life today. They love you so much and want to make a difference.
Joyful Blessings,
Karen

Blog Photos Have Ascended!

With the full moon later today, it's no wonder that there is an opportunity to rise above a challenge. Namely, all the photos on this blog have disappeared. This is somewhat of a universal problem as Blogger is working to fix the problem, which I hope is just temporary. Anyway, it is a perfect time to practice accepting what is. And to call upon the Angels of Blogger to help find a solution. Thanks for your patience.

Changing Tides

Sunrise at Virginia Beach

The little saying on my Yogi tea bag this morning was very reassuring. "You must know that you can swim through every change of tide." I was glad that I took the time to read it. I got to thinking about the tides and how certain times of day they are at different water levels. If you drive by lotus inlet at low tide, the water is drained so much you wonder if the blue heron will ever find another meal there. High tide is a completely different story. When it comes, the same "vessel" fills up and the waters flow abundantly. It's like that old platitude we hear time and again, Go with the flow. And remember, you are never alone. God has given His angels charge over you in all your ways.

Have a joyful day with your Angels.

Our Lady of Victory

This morning I was in bed, thinking about what to blog. Because I wasn't so mobile yesterday I rested and read a book I bought at Ollie's the day before. The Prayer of Mary was beautifully written and a peacefulness settled over me as I read about Mary's simple "Yes" to the Angel Gabriel and how it changed everything for all of us. "I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word." (Luke 1:38) In the words of author, Keith Fournier, "Angels still come at the specific moment that God chooses to intervene in our lives. He is outside of time but always on time."

God extends the invitation and waits for us to respond. He never violates our free will. Mary was full of grace. I tried to imagine myself filled with so much grace, there wasn't room for anything else. Reading this book gave me a better idea of Mother Mary's earth walk. Her humbleness in doing God's will recognizing it was He who does it.

So, I was thinking about blogging about Mother Mary and sharing this photo. I keep it on our dresser. I love seeing her in nature with the trees. Many years ago, I found it in a little bookstore in Mount Shasta. When I got out of bed to get a book from the bookcase, a long forgotten brochure popped up entitled, Mary's Victory Noll.

The word Victory seemed to jump out at me.

Yesterday the 111 Victory ball.

Today, Mary's Victory Noll.

Something was up.

Photos of Our Lady of Victory Noll Center in Huntington, IN (http://www.olvm.org/) were inside the pamphlet taken by our dear friends Edra and Jack who sent us the information last year.

I began to wonder, "Am I being called to visit this beautiful retreat?" I believe I was a nun in many lifetimes. Why else would I blurt out "Hail Mary full of grace!" in an emergency. Although not Catholic, I've always had an affinity for Mary.

This morning's mail brought special rosary beads from my friend Larraine in Brooklyn. Mother Mary is close. And thank goodness, I can walk better today. Meanwhile, we're staying tuned for a possible trip to Victory Noll.

Wishing you a joyful day with your Angels and watch for the synchronicity bubbles in your life.

VICTORY 111: An Angel Message

Angels are helpful in passing along much needed clues.  Sometimes I'm not always on the ball.  I woke up feeling less than physically fit. Every step I take brings pain, from a pulled muscle.  In A Course in Miracles the Holy Spirit teaches that all pain comes from our ego trying to join us on a journey it cannot take.

I always try to make it a point to give gratitude for the good and not so good. My mantra (when I remember) is "I can hardly wait to see the good that is going to come from this!"

Rather than give in to the physical pain body, I pushed myself outside to water the flowers.  A wonderful remedy to take my mind off me and serve the thirsty pansies. It was kind of funny because I found this old basketball in the laundry room in the afternoon. VICTORY 111 brought a smile as it did seem the angels were cheering me on.  In her book, Healing With the Angels, Doreen Virtue writes:

111 - Monitor your thoughts carefully, and be sure to only think about what you want, not what you don't want. 111 is a sign a gate of opportunity is opening up and your thoughts are manifesting into form at record speeds. The 111 is like the bright light of a flashbulb. It means the universe has just taken a snapshot of your thoughts and is manifesting them into form."

Stay in the game with your eye on the victory today.

Angel Signs, 444

The number sequence 444 is often brought to my attention. Several months ago at a traffic light on Oceana Boulevard, 444 appeared on this power transformer. It seemed to have an added oomph.

In her book Healing With the Angels, Doreen Virtue writes about 444: The angels are surrounding you now, reassuring you of their love and help. Don't worry because the angels' help is nearby."<>
444 is the completion of an important phase. With the advent of Spring, a new season is starting, filled with the resurrection energy. The dormant stage is over and it's time to rise and shine.

The Angels are close by and the more I remember to call on them in gratitude, the more I become aware of their loving presence.

Wishing you a joyful day with your Angels,

Rae Karen

It's Just Ducky

Yesterday morning Elliot spotted two ducks up a tree by the pond. An odd sight, but not untimely as the Verizon telephone man had just come by to tell us he couldn't fill our order. The lines were on the other side of the road. It did seem as if we were up a tree having committed to cancel our old services. As the ducks flew off, a reminder to let stuff roll off us like water on a duck's back, we called to keep our old phone number and patchwork service.

Ducks seemed to be the theme as my good friend Drew sent email with pics of her sweet Angel grandbaby Emerson Grace feeding the ducks in their front yard.

(Lil Emerson Grace, Angel of the Duckies with her Nana)

Then this morning I watched four mallards fly in low, making a splash landing in the pond. According to Animal Speak by Ted Andrews, "Ducks are symbolic of emotional comfort and protection. All ducks have a grace upon the water and as a totem they can help you to handle your own emotions with greater grace and comfort." We can all take a lesson from little Emerson Grace and feed our emotions with peace and love and gentle understanding. Quack! Quack!

Angels of the Pansies

(angel pansies artwork www.doverpublications.com)

I just finished rooting around in the garden planting pansies and Johnny Jump Ups. Home Depot had a 99 cent special so I loaded up. It's one of those warm feel good days when it's great to be in the sunshine, digging and weeding, getting ready for a new beginning. There is nothing quite so soothing on the nerves as working with the Nature Devas and Angels. The Zohar, the mystical interpretation of the Torah, tells us that every blade of grass and every flower that grows, an Angel is watching over it, whispering "GROW! GROW! GROW! We all need that kind of encouragement at times. As our issues come up, we are here to grow not growl through them. Our challenges are like Miracle Grow or fertilizer, boosting us to reach our full potential. Through the process, we are becoming something quite new and exciting as we begin to bud. With trust and faith, we will surely bloom on time.

In Nature Speak by Ted Andrews, I learned that pansies are symbolic of being open to all possibilities. It always has five petals - the number of the perfected human. Pansy, which means "to weigh or consider" is a flower whose message alerts us to think things through before acting, for actions now will bring long-range effects.

Pansy is a flower with strong connections to various orders of devas and nature spirits.

Enjoy the day with your Angels.

Karen

A Breakthrough

The Angels reminded me with this photo that the sunrise is always on time. Although it may appear delayed as clouds temporarily block the rays coming up on the horizon, the sun is still shining at dawn in spite of appearances. Like it says in A Course in Miracles, A cloud does not put out the sun.

May your Angels brighten your day with the truth that there is more than you can know at the present time. Light is about to dawn in your life as you begin a brand new day. Get ready for a breakthrough. It's time to shine.

It's A Matter of Choice

I woke up this morning thinking about the gift of free will. I get to choose what kind of a day I will have by the thoughts I think. Who will I serve? My ego or my spirit? I have too many knots on my head from pursuing the ego and its false idols. So today I choose to be still and remember to rest in God's love, trusting that each moment my needs will be met in Him who will deliver all the love, power, peace and grace I need in the now.

May your day be filled with joyful surprises as you open to the wonder of God and the Angels.

Blessings,

All You Have to Do Is Call...

"Be not deceived by appearances."
A Course in Miracles
The Angels are here to encourage you to look beyond what appearances may dictate and get a glimpse of the realm of divine radiance. The world is as you dream it, so why not make it a happy dream? You are more than you know. You are here on purpose and so your travels through time and space are not at random. Wherever you are is holy ground, because your presence makes it so. Your connection to Spirit is like a triangle, small on the top and large on the bottom where things in the material realm have a larger influence over your life because of your five senses. As you begin to open up to your Angels and the Celestial Host, the portal to that higher realm increases in size and the result is a closer attunement, making it easier to experience the Angels and their guidance. The Angels know how to direct you to accomplish your dream. Trust.

The most wonderful radiation comes when you invite them. As you open your heart to receive, the Angels will shower you with divine love and peace. It is done so gently that you are not aware of how it happened. You only know that you now feel differently, more comforted and not so alone in this world of constant change. This is the gift of your Angels. They want to enfold you with the very best that God has to offer. They remember who you really are and are excited about the evolution of your soul returning home to God. Please remember to stop often and give thanks for their constant dedication to you. And most of all... for their patience.

May you feel the warmth and love of their presence today.

Whispering Angels

One of the most fundamental principles of Kabbalah is that the soul manifests in a body because it has something to fix in itself or in the world. We are born with a unique role and ability to enhance the world. Each one of us is a spark of the Divine who brings Light into our very existence. Think of what it is that you would like to have happen in your life. Get in touch with it in your heart. Ask your Guardian Angel to help you achieve your purpose. Think of what you would feel like if you obtained this goal? How would you feel about yourself? Try to experience these feelings and hold on to them for they will attract this desire to you. Stay focused on what you want to achieve and not fall prey to doubt and fear.

The Zohar teaches that "A person should always view himself as if the whole world depends on him." If he performs one good deed, he tips the scale for himself and the world. As we correct our immoral nature, we reveal a measure of hidden light in direct proportion to the degree of inner change we've undergone.

The Angelic Realm is easy to work with. They are intelligent beings who respond instantly with love to your call. A good daily affirmation you may want to try is, "I AM now awakening to the guidance of my Guardian Angels."

Karen

Think Spring!

All things share the same breath.
--Chief Seattle

Spring is coming! It was warm enough yesterday to root around in the earth. How exhilarating to be outdoors in the fresh air in the meditation garden. Later I took a break and laid on the grass watching the sunny blue sky. Soaking up Mother Nature is very healing and it became a perfect afternoon when I heard the call of the geese. Soon three flocks honked flying by in big "V" formations. A sign to return to the computer and finish up my writing projects.

Then I remembered something I recently read in THAT YE MAY HEAL, a booklet of a study of the causes of illness as explained in the Edgar Cayce readings. It's all about balance. "There must be a certain amount of recreation. There must be certain amounts of rest. These are physical, mental, and spiritual necessities. Didn't God make man to sleep at least a third of his life? Then consider! This is what the Master meant when He said, "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow." Do they grow all the while, bloom all the while, or look mighty messy and dirty at times? It is well for people to get their hands dirty in the dirt at times, and not be the white collared man all the while! These are natural sources. From whence was man made? Don't be afraid to get a little dirt on you once in a while."

Living in our hi-tech world, it's so easy to get caught up in cyber space and lose our bearings. Spending time outdoors is a wonderful way to stay balanced and to reconnect with our soul. God and the Angels seem especially near while spending time in nature. When I invite the Angels to help out with the gardening, the work is fun and creative.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.
