Be Bold and Dare to Be: An Angel Message

5/18/12 photo of Holy Land from the highway

Several years ago,  Elliot and I were returning home from a trip. In Orlando, I  grabbed my camera on I-4 to take a photo of  Holy Land (a Bible based theme park) just as we were speeding by. It all happened so fast, I expected the image to be a blur, but instead I got a glimpse of the bigger picture. The logo on this 16-wheeler heading south was shown with a golden harp.  Fortune Favors The Bold... was a perfect message.

One definition of fortune is destiny or fate.  Angels often speak in sign language, and at that time, I was having anxiety about sharing my creativity for fear of judgment. They also remind us that nothing ever happens without enthusiasm.,,so whatever we're doing fire it up with enthusiasm and boldly go forward.

Enjoy your day with the Angels, and joyfully accept your God-given talents.

Joyful blessings,

Angel of Encouragement

Yesterday a stranger reminded me of the power of encouragement.  This man had been shot in the head at close range many years ago and lived.  He talked about how we need to encourage ourselves  when going through a time of challenge.  As we remember how our faith delivered us in the past, our spirit gets stronger, overshadowing the doubts and fears that discourage us from pressing on.  The Angel of Encouragement is always waiting for an invitation.  Christ Jesus said, Be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.  Today if you find yourself struggling with a longstanding issue, take time to reflect on how far you've come and know that Presence is still within you ready to help you meet every challenge in victory.

Mega Irises: An Angel Message

Finding this photo on the web made a big impression on me; these tremendous beauties represent my favorite flower, the iris. The angels often speak in symbols that have a special meaning for each of us. Over the years, the iris became a sign that I was on the right path, even though it didn't always feel like it.  Many unusual iris manifestations happened that caught my attention causing a BIG shift in consciousness and how I was living my life. The iris messages were a signal to have more faith, and to understand that much more was going on than met the eye.

Whenever we step out of our routine and become spontaneous, the angels will show us a brand new way of seeing the world. May the eyes of your heart open wide today, and behold the wonders around you.

If an iris crosses your path, it brings a message to maintain hope.  A new birth is at hand.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Angel Message: 4444

This time last year, a memorial service was held for Mom in Virginia.  The angels guided me to make up these memory cards for the family and loved ones who gathered.  It all came together in a last minute effort when I found a photo of Mom dressed as a angel for a Halloween party.  Back at home, I was guided to take a photo for the blog. Angel messages often come in number sequences. I knew the meaning of 444 from Healing with the Angels by Doreen Virtue.  "The angels are surrounding you now, reassuring you of their love and help. Don't worry because the angels' help is nearby.

For Mom to appear as an angel in the 4444th picture seemed to add an extra oomph...as  if she had playfully tapped me on the shoulder, reassuring that  all is well and all is as it should be.  There is nothing to fear.

It's so comforting to know that our loved ones live on in a continuous celebration of life.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Putting It All Together: An Angel Message

Okay, I've never been any good at assembling things...or I should say...I never thought I was any good--but that's mostly because I was afraid of botching it up, and shied away.  Yesterday at the store, on a whim, I picked out a hot pink mesh office chair to charge my creative juices as well as to give needed support to my back.

At home, with the chair box and all the parts on the floor, things went smoothly as far as unwrapping the cushions and lining up the bolts, but when I tried popping in the five caster rollers...the first two were a snap...then I hit a snag.  I called on the Angels and with a little extra pressure, the other three were soon rolling along, too.

The new chair was soon assembled, pretty and pink. I must have chosen wisely because Angel spent the entire evening warming it up for me.

It was a good lesson on not setting limitations.  How do you know what you can do, if you don't try?  Follow the directions, and do your best.  If needed, call on the angels for help and watch how things come together effortlessly.

Now for some creative ideas...Angels...

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Winging Our Thoughts and Prayers

                                                 (Wikimedia Commons)

"Every thought sent forth is a never-
ending vibration winging its way
across the universe to bring us back
 just what we sent forth."
                        Annalee Skarin
                         Ye Are Gods

This morning, I found this handwritten quote on the inside cover of my old Angel Messenger Card book.  Penned by me, many years ago, I thought it was a good reminder for today's blog.

Also, maybe you, too, have been waking up in the middle of the night lately.  If so, it's a call from your angels to spend a few moments sending prayers to the world.  The power of prayer and meditation for world peace is especially needed at this hour; the hours between 3:00 and dawn bring added blessings.

Enjoy your day with the Angels and walk in peace.

The Creative Pumpkin Patch

A pumpkin patch is irresistible, and luckily I had my camera this morning on our way home from the park.  Turns out, this abundant harvest is arranged as a mini-golf course for kids; a creative idea to add fun in picking out the perfect pumpkin for Halloween.

On line, I learned the pumpkin has a long history. At one time it was considered a symbol of the whole world, a container of everything ever created. The largest vegetable in creation and full of seeds, it also became a symbol of plenty, like in our first Thanksgiving.

Interesting, too,  that a large pumpkin turned into a coach in the fairy tale, Cinderella.  Her fairy godmother (guardian angel) helped transport her to keep a date with her destiny.

Autumn is a great time to play and enjoy the simple things in life.

Have a fun weekend with the Angels.

The Angel on the Wall

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
         Psalm 91

I was surprised to see my angel statue on the dresser had cast a graceful shadow on the wall early one morning.  Expect the unexpected.  A  message that just like a shadow, my Guardian Angel accompanies me wherever I am going. And, when I focus on the ever- present Light within, I will gain more insight from her abiding, loving presence.

Enjoy your day with your Guardian Angel, in gratitude, and be willing to shine.

Wonderful Wonderful: An Angel Message

                             (Virginia Beach Sunrise -R.K Hauck)

I love when angel messages are delivered in song...especially in those moments between sleep and wakefulness when a long forgotten melody wings its way through your mind...vaguely familiar...you try to remember the source. Then a few verses take hold and you've got it. A  song in the night can touch your heart by reminding you just how much you are loved by the Divine.

Such an experience occurred several nights ago when feeling rather down.  In the wee hours as I turned over in bed, I was stirred awake by a song  in my head. I loved the melody.  Knowing it was an angel message, I tried to catch the title, playing with the tune over and over. Then a verse came to me: "The world is filled with wondrous things its true, but they wouldn't have much meaning without you."  I recognized an old high school favorite,  Wonderful Wonderful, the Johnny Mathis hit. Later, I found this "wonderful" video on YouTube. Here's the link. Enjoy! and imagine your guardian angel singing to you.

Miracle Bubbles - An Angel Message

                             (photo Wikimedia Commons)

Remember blowing bubbles as a child?  The beautiful swirling colors in an incredibly fragile sphere that brought wonder and joy.  When they popped, what did you do? Blow even more bubbles. Bubbles can symbolize our hopes and our dreams.   Elliot returned home from an errand last week with a surprise for me.  A  bottle of bubbles with four special wands--just for the fun of it. We had a good laugh when I pointed out the label, Miracle Bubbles.

According to A Course in Miracles, a miracle is a shift in perception; when they don't occur something has gone wrong.  The angels remind us to capture the innocence of the inner child and find joy in the simple things in life. The miracle is in every moment.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

What ? This... Again? - An Angel Message

Photo from Wikimedia

"Trials are but lessons that you failed to learn presented once again..."
                        --A Course in Miracles

The exasperated look on this angel's face conveys a plea for infinite patience.  Her expression is one of disbelief, Uh oh, she's doing it again, God!  How can I help when he never listens? Okay, I'll send another message right away.

It can be somewhat humorous to think about how much we  may push the patience envelope of our dear guardian angel.  But in all seriousness, the angels never judge.  When we wobble and fall down, our guardian angel is the first to offer gentle encouragement, Get up and try again.  Because of our gift of free will, we must choose to make the request for celestial help. In the meantime, they patiently wait and watch until we run out of our own resourceful ideas and ask for assistance (often on our knees) in learning our lesson once and for all.

Enjoy your journey and talk to your guardian angel like you would your best friend.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen
