By Leaps and Bounds: Angel Message

Yesterday's wait at Tires Plus was a lesson in patience as Elliot and I sat in the car in the heat of a hot summer day.  The ice cream store next door was closed on Mondays.  Looking up at fluffy white clouds, a tiny glint of color caught my eye.  Gliding ahead of giant billowy white clouds, a lone skydiver appeared.  Watching him sail the friendly skies after making a daring leap out of a plane at nearby Sky Dive Academy, I envied his bird's eye view on-high.

A rare treat, I zoomed in from an astronomical distance. Struggling to focus on what appeared like a tiny candy sprinkle on a vanilla-frosted cake, I asked the angels for help.  They delivered.  The colorful parachute canopy turned out to be a rainbow. An uplifting sign of God's promise of deliverance-- no matter how great the clouds in our life may loom.

The evening before, another surprise had graced our neighborhood.  On a walk, my son suddenly spotted a real rainbow, high up in the clouds, fading, but visible.

But something else happened during our wait at Tires Plus.  I spotted something move... ever so slightly. Straining to see, I could barely make out the unlikely brown form of a little frog that blended in with the pebbled concrete. I let out a laugh of disbelief, feeling the jolt of an angel tune-up. Really? A frog at the tire maintenance garage.

The angels were on a roll. The acronym for F.R.O.G.  Fully Rely on God.  Frog it!

To prove it really happened, I leaped out of the car. BOING! BOING!  Strong hind legs stretched to the max bouncing him up high in the air, in the shadows of the bushes by the TIRES PLUS SIGN.  In the blink of an eye, the brown frog sprang round the brick wall, and disappeared.  Only wisps of heat steamed the vacant parking lot.  Gone in a single bound, but not forgotten, I got it. Frog it!  NO matter how trying the circumstances of our trials may be, do your best and fully rely on God.

The skydiver and the leaping frog were playful angel messages to keep having faith on high.   And, we had been blessed with four new tires.

Joyfully watch for angel messages to come your way today to help you lighten up.  Isn't it wonderful that we are never alone? We have angels watching over us.  The best is yet to be.

Love, joy and peace,

Do You See What I See? An Angel Message

In the middle of the night, I thought I heard the song of a frog calling.

This morning, while filling up my watering can, I saw something unusual in the rock garden pool.

A strange green lump was sticking up in the pond that was now blanketed in dainty green vegetation, all of the same kind.

Clothed in a garland of tiny butterfly shaped plants, the little brown frog was a perfect candidate for an angel blog.  I'd been meaning to drain the pond, but ran out of energy with the new move.  Now having compassion, I thought about gently spraying him off with the garden hose, only something made me stop.  I'm glad I did.

When I returned with my camera, the frog was patiently waiting, in stillness, his humped back laced with fine greenery.  His expression was not a happy one.

I got down eye level with the little frog.

That's when I could see the clear path in the watery green patch that he created by going back and forth trying to find a way out.

He made a sudden splash toward the steep slippery plastic wall.  I knew then he needed a helping hand up.

When I told Elliot, he assured me that little frog could leap out, not to worry.

But another strong angel wave told me otherwise.  "No, he needs help!" I said, searching for a long stick to set the captive free.

To my surprise, Elliot grabbed a nearby garden shovel.  "Here, we go!"

In one loving scoopful of watery green vegetation, it was happening.

The willing brown frog, still clad in sprigs of butterfly vegetation, patiently rode the long-handled shovel.

Higher, and higher, to great freedom.

I could sense a smile, watching the gleam in his eye, as he rode the old garden spade, like a  gentleman taking an elevator to the top floor.

Effortlessly, lifted out of troubled waters, what joy to see the little frog now safely perched on a large garden rock near the pool.

Inspired, I did a little more research on frogs.  They signal transformation through water and sound.  The frog is a creature of metamorphosis as it changes from an egg, to a tadpole, to a frog.  And so frog is a symbol of coming into one's own creative power.  If a frog has hopped into your life, you may need to get in touch with the water element.  Are you becoming waterlogged, bogged down, or drowning in emotions?

I was thankful for his timely visit today.  F.R.O.G. is an acronym for (F)ully (R)ely (O)n (G)od.   During these months of tremendous global transformation, like that frog stuck in the monotony of a small stagnant pool, we, too, will be delivered into expansive new waters of life.  So keep the faith and patiently focus on fully relying on God.  Like frog, we can sing our own song in the night, knowing there will be an answer in divine order.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and peace,

Overflow Preparation: An Angel Message

Last month when Hurricane Irma blew through town, she filled the storm drain reservoir down the street to capacity.  For the past five years, it had been a deep grassy hollow that took up an entire block.  But as you can see above, it became a lake that prevented local flooding.   A creative space had been made to allow for overflow.  I was thinking about this analogy in regard to our spiritual capacity and realized that each day as we dig down deeper through meditation, prayer, and gratitude we are creating that sacred space to help us handle the flood of emotions that can come when going through personal as well as worldly storms.

Something else was spawned as a result of this new watery realm.  Little froggies hatched last weekend.  No bigger than a dime, they are now leaping down the street by the dozens.  Our morning walks are like playing that old video game, Frogger.  All of this can be translated into a deeper meaning, and that is to Fully Rely on God.  F.R.O.G. that wonderful acronym that adds a spring to each step of faith and brings waters of new life.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

The Prayerful Tree Frog

My son and I went out on the deck to study our lesson from The Christ Highway. When I opened up the umbrella, this little "fellah" was already holding the space. We left the umbrella at half mast so as not to disturb his vigil. He stayed "put" for the whole lesson which happened to be: "I bless all the world in the Name of Jesus Christ."

This summer is a time of great transition, seeing a frog is a wonderful acronym for (F)ully(R)rely (O)n (G)od. God is Love and nothing is impossible for those who believe in Him...

Enjoy your day with the Angels!

33 Trapped Chilean Miners

Yesterday when we unveiled our car, I spotted a little frog on the driver's window, brown instead of green. The message again-- to Fully Rely on God. Maybe he's maturing, no longer green, in his faith to trust God. He was trapped under the car tarp, but was set free at the right hour.

Today my thoughts and prayers are with the Chilean miners trapped below the earth with only a 6" portal on the world, from a half a mile vantage point. In all that darkness, it is comforting to know that they are not alone. There is Light. The Angels are with them and their families and the rescue workers. It is as though they are in a womb waiting to give birth to something new. In quiet contemplation, transformation comes and we become more aware that we are not who we think we are.

Their "initiation" puts everything in perspective as their lives are temporarily put on hold. It makes me think about how I am going to spend my day.

Many blessings,

Karen

Froggy Hitchhiker

When I pulled the cover off the car this morning, what a surprise to find this little hitchhiker hoping for a ride. (F)ully (R)ely (O)n (G)od. is what frog stands for. He wasn't so anxious to let go and jump off on a leaf, but finally took a leap, landing under the car. We waited until sure he was on his merry way.

God speaks in many ways. You may want to pay attention to what crosses your path today.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Nature's Gate

When I grabbed my shampoo in the outdoor shower today, I was in for a surprise. This little fellow was on the back of the bottle. He seemed parched so I turned on the cool water. I got the camera and moved the shampoo to take this picture. He kept hanging on tight with his little suction feet. A reminder that no matter what's going on, (F)ully (R)ely (O)n (G)od and don't let go.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

A Frog Comes A Courtin'

Yesterday afternoon Elliot called upstairs to me, "Hurry! You've got to come see this. There's a little frog looking in our front door. His tiny hands are in prayer position! Talk about fully relying on God!"

I hurried down to take a look. Sure enough he was intently praying. Playfully, I asked,"Are you the same little tree frog I rescued from the trash can many months ago? Have you returned to thank me for answering your prayers that evening?" Knowing that frog is an acronym for Fully Relying On God, I wondered why the deliberate message? Was he reminding us to remember God in our going out and our coming in?

With so much transformation happening in the world, I believe that the frog was a heads up to keep our minds attuned to the heavenly host and not be deceived by our perceptions. Humanity is taking a leap into a higher state of consciousness and the old ways are no longer working. There is a higher realm to live and move in which we are being rebirthed.

I thanked the frog for the visit. He stayed there for several hours and then disappeared as mysteriously as he arrived.

Enjoy your day with the angels knowing that you are never alone.

Fully Rely on God (F.R.O.G)

When we came home last evening, the new sunflowers were suffering from the heat. There was an urgency to revive their wilted yellow petals. I grabbed the old green watering can and emptied out yesterday's rain. Tossed in a few spoonfuls of Miracle Bloom crystals and began to fill it. The large opening at the top was covered by the head of the shower wand. Soon frothy blue suds were nearing the top. When I started to pick up the can, something didn't feel quite right.

That's when I noticed a pair of eyes peeking out of the spout.

A little frog was trapped inside seeking refuge from the rising waters. Not wanting to drown him in blue liquid, I called to Elliot who advised, "Just pour him out." I wasn't so sure he could even fit through the spout. But some action was needed. Doing nothing wasn't an option. As soon as I tipped the can, the water flowed, somehow the little frog took a leap to freedom. It happened so quick I didn't see how he did it. I watched him stop by the garden plaque, Live One Day At a Time, and then hurry on his way.

Years ago someone told me F.R.O.G is an acronymn for Fully Rely On God. Sometimes we get outselves into a fix and end up somewhere that isn't in our best interest. God will send help to put us back in the flow and on solid ground.

Sorry I didn't get a picture of the little frog. But you can imagine those little eyes peering out this narrow spout. I think he was too afraid to take a leap of faith. Whatever you may be facing today, know that you are not alone. God has sent His angels to watch over you and guide you. Stay in the moment and watch for miracles.

Angelic blessings to you.
