Once in a Blue Moon: An Angel Message

A rare Blue Moon happened early this morning, so why not follow in its wake and make this day a once in a blue moon event. Try something new and different.  Step out of your routine and treat your soul to an adventure.  It doesn't have to be anything big--just change your perspective and look for the joy surrounding you, smile to Life.

Whale Messages An Angel Message

Recently angels messages have been about water, the flow.   In this photo, an unexpected element of surprise takes hold of Mickey on his surfboard.  A whale's dynamic spout lifts him higher.   Whales at one time were considered to be symbols of containment, concealment, and even resurrection like the story of Jonah in the Bible.

It is when we learn to go deep within ourselves that we can awaken the creativity to resurrect our lives, if we are willing to express it.

That's what Disney did.  With his imagination, his little Mouse is surfing high.

More on Angel Wings...

Yesterday's angel blog on "wings" prompted a response from Graham in the UK:
  
"I have just read your latest reference to angel wings.  Here's my version from a recent holiday in Spain with my wife. These were from the floor below on a staircase and right by our room. So I looked at them every day.  Can't say I go looking for these signs but sort of stumble on them."  

Graham,  you're so right. We can't make these signs happen, but we can stay open to receiving them.   I love hearing the many ways the angels catch our attention.  These wings of light on a staircase are a timely message. The angels help us to step up higher.  Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all remember our celestial friends are always with us? We are never alone. They are here to help us in our spiritual acceleration.   I know I need all the help I can get. Thank you, Angels!  And thank you, Graham for being today's messenger!

Refreshing Waters - An Angel Message

There's nothing like cooling off in a fountain on a hot summer day. Today the angels speak of the inner fountain of living waters. Christ said, "The water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."

 Sometimes we forget this truth and need a healing to cleanse our thoughts of old resentments, guilt, anger, or sickness.  Imagine standing in a beautiful fountain of pure flowing water pouring into your body, washing away any old stains or stagnation, filling you with a new vitality. Take a breath, feel fresh and renewed, ready to embrace a brand new beginning.

Just for fun earlier today, I opened a paperback dictionary at random and landed on the word "fresh."  With the start of the new moon last night, one of the definitions was a perfect fit for this lunar phase.  fresh:  "Having the qualities unimpaired, as by age, use, fatigue, etc. Full of vigor; newly made ready for use."

Enjoy your day with the Angels and "Let your body be transformed by the renewal of your mind." Wonderful things are happening.

A Cricket - An Angel Message

Angel messages can come in many different ways, some more obvious than others.  When an animal, bird or insect crosses my path in an obvious way, I find it helpful to learn what the message may be. It happened early this morning when I saw a large insect motionless on the laundry room floor. I let it be, hoping Elliot would take it out later.  An angel message came for me to handle it now. With napkin in hand, I bent down to scoop it up but stopped.  It was not one of the usual Florida bugs. I hurried to get my camera and took several photos while it remained still.  Afterwards, I had gone about my business, when I heard Elliot shout,  "Where is it?" I went to show him, but our visitor had moved on. He was alive.  I was curious about him being so patient while I photographed him closeup. When I magnified my pics on the laptop, to my surprise, I could see it was a cricket! None like I'd ever seen before, but he reminded me of my favorite Disney cricket Jiminy. The little cutie who took on the responsibility to be Pinochio's conscience so the wooden puppet could become a real boy. His motivating song,.. Always let your conscience be your guide.

A little research on crickets revealed:  Crickets symbolize sensitive intuition and power of belief.  When one appears it is important to trust our own intuition. Dreams will become more clairvoyant and we can rely on our dream-time perceptions. If cricket is singing in your life, now is the time of good cheer, especially in relationships.Our believing is about to be rewarded.  

When I went back to the laundry room later, the cricket was on the rug and took a ride outside. 

Like old Jiminy Cricket sang, "When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true..."

So if things have been a little challenging lately, take heart, your believing is about to be rewarded.

A Hawk Visit - An Angel Message

Sunday afternoon I was caught by surprise when I thought I saw a hawk outside my den window, high up in the camphor tree!  Hawk has always been a messenger, showing up when I need to look at life from a higher perspective, or get ready for an opportunity. So I was excited at the possibility of a visit in such plain sight-- and a first, so close to home in Florida. I quickly grabbed my camera and zoomed in hoping I wasn't just an old fool.  To my delight, there he was-- patiently waiting. I had to act fast and so the focus through the screen window is less than perfect, but I got the picture.

In Animal-Speak (pocket guide book) Ted Andrews says:  "When  hawk shows up, spirit vision and guardianship surround you.  Be patient and observe.  You will see the opportunities. Signs are clear."

If you're reading this blog, the message extends to you as well.  There was a bit more hawk synchronicity, a few days later my girl friend in Virginia called me.  "What does the hawk symbolize?"  One had perched on a pole near the parking lot.  She too felt a rush of excitement as the hawk faced her window in plain view.

I love these moments when nature comes close and calls. Any time an animal or bird crosses your path in an obvious way, it is a messenger for you. Pay attention as the characteristics of that one hold a key to handling an issue in your life.  It's fun to do a little research and see what it may be.  The more we become aware, the more often Nature speaks and we are given a glimpse of the bigger picture.
