Autumn Reflections: Angel Rocks
What we think...we attract... The angels drove home a lesson about our thoughts last week.
Near the Arctic Circle, a power post is a necessity. Power posts were accessible downtown, home on the military base, etc. No one could afford to go anywhere for longer than 2 hours without restarting the car or getting an electrical post recharge. Otherwise the circulating system would ice up and you'd be stuck in the deep-freeze.
Today, I'm so thankful to know that we have angel companions. The more we honor and pay attention to these celestial visitants, the more visible will be our evidence of their loving presence. Make friends with your guardian angels. They know you better than you know yourself.
The winter experience in Alaska got me to thinking about those power posts. What if we each remembered to plug in to our angel network every two hours throughout the day. No telling what miracles may happen.
Joyful blessings,
Rae Karen

Happy Autumn Equinox! Welcome Archangel Michael!
Autumn is a season to:
--Harvest what has passed and let it go.
--Purify and transmute the lower self
--Overcome cherished obstacles that block our path
--Sow new seeds for next year's harvest
--Gain protection and guidance from Archangel Michael in order to advance
Welcome, Archangel Michael, and thank you for your tireless service to assist us in any situation where we may feel overwhelmed or alone, in need of guidance and support. Help us to conquer our negativity and to open up to the eternal.
Love and joyful blessings,
Rae Karen

Gifts from the Sea: An Angel Message
The hot summer days brought a desire to add more color to my life. Turquoise is a refreshing reminder of the surf and the sea, and all the hidden beauty she holds beneath her waves. Before long, an aqua throw, crocheted by me, graced the foot of our bed. Turquoise throw pillows brightened the room, and rough-wood dolphin and whale carvings leaped onto beige walls, bringing touches of joy.
Yesterday while surfing the web, a fascinating turquoise colored hairy-sea-creature turned up in the coastal news, not far from home. WOW! A few of these rare jewels called "Blue Buttons" had been recently spotted washing up on the shores of St. Augustine, and Vilano Beach in Florida.
Nature is beautiful at her finest. The scientific name has a poetic ring. Porpita porpita. And, comes from the ancient Greek word which means brooch. (A decorative jewelry attached with a pin that clasps shut.)
On-line research provided some helpful clues. Although, similar to a jellyfish, it is not one. The little creature
has two main body parts. The flat circular disk is the "float", and a
whole colony of hydroids are the hairy branches that look like whirling
tentacles. So in a sense, each "float" is like a small boat, no bigger than an inch that supports many passengers in the vastness of the sea.
A passive drifter, the Blue Button, must rely on water currents and wind to carry it through the ocean. It has no power of its own to direct a course, and must navigate by simply surrendering to the rhythm of the tides.
I was thankful for the angel message that drifted inland. During these unprecedented times on Earth, Porpita porpita serves as a reminder to let go and let God. Don't try to make things happen that are beyond our control. Relax in the now, gratefully drift in the flow of God's infinite Love, and have faith that all of your needs will be met in divine order.
In closing, here's a passage from Gift from the Sea by Ann Morrow Lindbergh.
"The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient.
To dig for treasures shows not only impatience and greed, but lack of faith.
Patience, patience, patience, is what the sea teaches.
Patience and faith.
One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach,
waiting for a gift from the sea."
What messages are coming to you today from your Angels? Make friends with the Angels, and watch how their loving touches will make your day brighter.
Love and peace,
Rae Karen

Out of the Mist: An Angel Message
Out of the mist this morning, what a surprise! A little tree frog gripped the sun-room window, his tiny green fingers splayed in a joyful embrace. No bigger than a dime, his presence brought a smile as he peered through the foggy glass. His timing was perfect as I'd been praying for a friend who is grieving over the unexpected loss of a dear younger brother.
And, when I opened my eyes, there was this comforting message to Fully Rely On God. (F.R.O.G.)
Many years ago, when my grandmother passed on, her friend published this comforting prayer in the newspaper. I changed the "she" to "he" in honor of the beautiful soul that recently departed.
The Traveler
He has put on invisibility.
Dear Lord, I cannot see—
But this I know, although the road
ascends
And passes from my sight,
That there will be no night;
That You will take him gently by the
hand
And lead him on
Along the road of life that never ends,
And he will find it is not death but
dawn.
I do not doubt that You are there as
here,
And You will hold him dear.
Our life did not begin with birth,
It is not of the earth;
And this that we call death, it is no
more
Than the opening and closing of a
door—
And in Your house how many rooms
must be
Beyond this one where we rest
momently.
Dear Lord, I thank You for the faith
that frees,
The love that knows it cannot lose its
own;
The love that, looking through the
shadows, sees
That You and he and I are ever one!
