Practicing the Presence of Guardian Angels

Last Sunday afternoon,  I was guided to give a guardian angel coin to our favorite server at a local restaurant.  With her in mind, before leaving the house, I had grabbed it at the last minute. The previous week, she had been under stress from working double shifts.  Opening the restaurant at 11:00 a.m., and then closing it, not getting home to her toddler and husband until after midnight.  At that time, I'd told her that she had a guardian angel, and she gave me a thankful smile.

Fast forward to this Sunday, when at the end of our lunch, I got the guardian angel coin out of my purse and handed it to her.  Her face lit up and she said, I didn't tell you last week, but when you told me I had a guardian angel, my sister had just died.  What you said, changed everything and I felt lighter knowing my sister is now an angel on the other side.

I do believe our departed loved ones can act as angelic ambassadors for us in the heavenly realm, but it's comforting to know we also have our own guardian angel.

I was so thankful for the guardian angel timing as I had no idea what was going on in her life, but the angels helped me to be a heartfelt messenger.

The more I remember to practice "seeing" the guardian angels of those I meet, the more amazed I have become by the acknowledgement that something special is going on behind the scenes.  A touch of heaven is coming down to earth.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Our Guardian Angels Ever Present

In the 1990's, the awareness of angels skyrocketed as people began talking about these heavenly companions and sharing personal experiences of being touched by an angel.  The popularity of angels soared from angel documentaries, TV shows, books, magazines, art, music, jewelry and angel artifacts.   The cover of Time Magazine featured "The New Age of Angels.  69 percent of Americans believe they exist. What in heaven is going on?"

That was when my life began to change, and I became aware of the presence of angels in everyday life.  Angels are real, and now more than ever we are in need of their help.  My hope is to have a revival of God's Angels that will light up this world like never before.

It can only happen with our willingness to call upon them to assist us.  We don't have to stand helplessly by and do nothing in the face of these overwhelming changes we all face.  With prayer and the assistance of angels, we can succeed, but it comes with a price.  We must stay vigilant as we go about our day.  Driving along, we can send blessings to the guardian angels of those on the road with us.  In the midst of errands, we can choose to silently acknowledge the guardian angel of the cashier at the grocery store and also the guardian angels of those in line.  When we walk into a building, we can acknowledge the guardian angels of the business or store, and thank them for their service.  We can each become a floodgate for the angels to take charge and change the atmosphere of entire cities just by recognizing the guardian angel for each person in that city.  Silently thank them for their tireless work to assist humanity.  Pick an issue of concern, any issue, and ask the angels to come bring their light, love, peace and harmony into that problem.  Ask and watch, see what happens just by our willingness.

Another thing we can do is when we meet someone, silently greet his or her guardian angel.  With this faithful practice, soon we will be experiencing a touch of heaven wherever we go just by bringing the awareness of angels along with us.

And, most of all, remember to speak to your own guardian angel.  To give thanks for all the help you receive and for their commitment to watch over you.

I'm excited to know that there is this powerhouse of infinite love and peace that is just waiting for us to activate our gift of free will and to lean on the side of heavenly grace.  To choose love over fear, to look for the good and not be deceived by appearances.  Tough job, but we are here to do it.  We can with the help of our dear guardian angels and the heavenly host.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Happy Michaelmas Day!

First moonflower bloomed this morning!
In celebration of the Feast of Saint Michaelmas Day, the nature angels honored our garden with a beautiful white moonflower.  I don't usually go outside first thing, but I was guided to this morning.  I was so surprised.  I saw an unusual large white flower had bloomed on a vine during the night.  The full moon is this evening so it is a double gift.

I'd bought a packet of moonflower seeds in the spring, but nothing happened for the longest time, just a short spindly vine growing on the trellis by the birdbath.  Disappointed, I turned my back, forgetting all about them. Another lesson in surrendering.  But here she is, a little shriveled in the light, but beautiful with her heart shaped leaves.

The message is a good one.  Something may seem like a lost cause, but don't get discouraged.  It will bloom in a little light at the right time if we just do our part and then let go.

Curious, I read about the symbolism in a dream book.  Moonflower vine exemplifies the bountiful spreading of a singular spiritual deed.  Mine or someone else's, it really doesn't matter.  It happened!

Today we thank Archangel Michael and all the Angels, particularly those who are appointed as guardians of mankind for all their love, guidance, and protection.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Blessings, Karen
