With the train station in town, on occasion I get to hear a train whistle. Something stirs within me at that thrilling sound. A sense of adventure fills the air, to heed the call of the quest! Who knows, maybe I was a hobo in a past life, but I LOVE to hear the whistle blow. Something funny happened the last time the train passed by our neighborhood. I stopped talking to listen to its horn, cheering it on, Whoo Whoo!. Then, the whistle blew again louder and longer in a harmonic rich tone that seemed to keep pace with my enthusiasm. I'm glad Elliot was there as a witness, or I might not believe what happened next as I was stretched out on the sofa. The train blew and then whistled a familiar tune! "Shave and a hair cut, two bits!" We both burst out laughing. Maybe your Mom is having fun on the other side, Elliot joked, and I was reminded that nothing great can happen without enthusiasm!
Enjoy your day with the Angels.
Love and joyful blessings,
