Cormorants and A Wood Stork: An Angel Message

More than 18 cormorants were hanging out on a bright yellow floater at the lake today.  Usually only one or two are seen, so I wondered about the significance of their appearance.  The beautiful trumpet swan has moved on after spending seven months at the lake.  With her departure, the park lost its heart.  So maybe this large turnout was indicating have faith more activity is going on, it's just happening below the surface.

I looked up the symbolism of the cormorant: "A need to dive deeper to get to solutions.  Trust in your own methods.  You will accomplish tings now in unique ways others cannot."*

It was funny because they were out of the water.  I was so intent on taking a pic of this unusual flock, I almost missed this comical sight off to my right.

The wood stork was either airing out her wings or showing off the size of her latest catch.  Either way, stork is the bringer of new life and a wonderful omen for the new year.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen
