I love flea markets and second-hand shops because the angels can get creative, guiding me to unusual treasures. Years ago, my heart leapt when I found this stone plaque at an antique store called Somewhere in Time. I chuckled, what better place to find this particular scripture:
"To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven." (Ecc. 311)
It's helpful to remember seasons come and seasons go. Things don't remain the same. The antique shop, Somewhere in Time, is long gone. Change is a constant. There's a rhythm and a purpose for each season in life. Sometimes it may feel like a troubling situation will never change, but deep down I know that I'm the one who needs changing. Maybe it's an attitude adjustment or a need to surrender my human will.
God's Law of Adjustment is always in action. When we accept and can understand and declare that the Law of God is present and is in operation, we bring into power and action of God. This can be applied to any discordant belief by saying, God's Law of Adjustment is present and in operation. That's all that is necessary to dissolve any manifestation of error, or wrong thinking because we have surrendered the problem to a higher Authority. Our words have power.
I am learning the Law of Adjustment is the universal Law of Love, which brings blessings to all. It doesn't take from one and give to the other. It doesn't withhold under any circumstances, but is ready and waiting to operate in our lives as soon as we make the invitation and set our own human will aside. (That's the hard part, the need to be right rather than to be happy.)
When we can surrender, a comforting sense of peace and joy follows because we are allowing God to control all the events for us through His Law of Adjustment. By giving up our frightened sense of things and letting the divine Mind take charge, then we can see how "all things work together for good to them that love God."
All discord comes from our ego mind, whether it takes the form of sickness, guilt, annoyance, fear or trouble of any kind. When we give up our personal perception--even when we believe we are right-- we find the law of God is ready...and active in making the right adjustments of everything involved. God is Love.
The angels today are whispering, Relax and Let God.
Now, that's truly burden-free living when make the choice to reflect only love. When this life is over, the most important question to be answered will be how well did I love?
