Yesterday morning my gardening friend took me on a delightful tour at the Florida extension service where she volunteers as a master gardener.
There were many beautiful trees and flowers, but this photo of the fish pond spoke volumes. I was amused to see the colorful school of Koi fish appeared to be flying through the tree tops. Although just a reflection, it gave me pause to learn that a koi represents overcoming adversity as often they must swim up steep waterfalls on their journey. Koi is a fish of good fortune and a sign to keep on persevering.
