Finally this bunny stopped. Facing the sun room, he stood on his haunches as if striking a deliberate pose to Stand still.
Wanting to capture his unusual stillness, I had my doubts if he would still be there when I returned with the camera. But there he was steadfast, standing tall in the green grass, and many photos were taken through the blinds.
I revisited the rabbit symbolism in a nature book: If Rabbit has shown up and we're unsure what to do--freeze. Do nothing. It won't take more than 28 days until we know exactly what to do or where to go. Rabbits never do anything in a step-by-step way, and even if they have to backtrack and cover old territory, their long, fast hops and jumps swiftly make up for lost ground.
Our rabbit scenario mirrored this reference. Stand still!
Don't keep running around in circles, expending lots of energy, covering the same old ground. Stand still, and wait on the Lord.
Later in the day, a passage on that topic popped up in a spiritual book. "Do not be afraid. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today." (Exodus 14:13)
I give thanks for the lessons that the angels teach through nature. They so perfectly illustrate the inner struggles to be overcome in daily life. Gifts to help us grow in Spirit with the unseen love and guidance from the heavenly realm.
What messages are the angels speaking in your life today? Stand still and listen. All is well.
