Who...Who are You? An Angel Message

Sometimes nature deliberately calls out at odd hours.  Last week while lying awake in bed in the middle of the night, I heard the distant hoot of an owl.

Whoo...Whoo...Whoo are you? Seemed to be his haunting question. I smiled. This surprise messenger delivered a touch of synchronicity.

Earlier that evening, I'd been reading Alice in Wonderland, a book that dropped into my hands at  Bell's where I hurried to buy a new writing journal. To my delight, the discounted book had the original illustrations.  I've always been fond of Alice, and thanked the angels for the guidance.

For fun at dinnertime, I read the passage aloud about Alice and the caterpillar to my husband, Elliot.

"Who are you?  the caterpillar asks Alice in a sleepy voice.

"I--I hardly know, Sir."  Alice shyly admits that she hardly knows just at the present --at least I knew who I was when I got up this morning, but  I think I must have changed several times since then."

I loved it.

Who are you? we may often ask ourselves.  Although we don't physically change sizes like Alice did in her dream of Wonderland, we may find ourselves "shrinking" in front of this person or that situation, and "towering" above another, depending on the circumstances that we give power to.

We wear many masks for many occasions, but underneath is the "Inner Truth."  A holy child of God, made in His image and likeness. A spiritual idea in the mind of God.

Like Alice in Wonderland, our journey is to wake up from the dream of separation from the love of God. We are already at home.  Thank God.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Seagull: An Angel Message

Traveling down the road of life, angel messages often take the ordinary stuff and make it extraordinary.  Nothing in the physical has actually changed, yet everything has by a shift in one's perception.

This photo was taken while living near the Bay at Virginia Beach.  I was attracted to the reflection of the seagulls posted on the fence.  When uploaded, these words on the side mirror caught my attention in a new light.

OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR

In Animal-Speak, I learned that seagulls are associated with both land and water as well as air.  It combines the gifts of both swimming and flying and can teach lessons on how to navigate in other dimensions. Shorelines are areas of great mystery between land and water and are often associated with fairy contact. When a gull appears, it can help teach one how to open communication with the Faerie Realm of life, especially water sprites.  Seagulls also indicate lessons or abilities on the proper behavior, courtesy and communication in our associations.

At resort areas, tourists tend to view seagulls as pests, but in their communities their behavior is quite different.  They do keep the shoreline clean and can reflect to work on cleaning up the shore areas of our own life.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

An Angel Message from Hitchhiking Lizard

Lizards on a Dolphin Statue in the Garden

Sorry I didn't have my camera today when I spotted a cute lizard dashing across the windshield. Elliot and I were driving through the neighborhood on our way to lunch in a nearby city.  He slowed down and the little fellow clung to the windshield wiper, head held high, like a regal hood ornament.  As soon as possible, we pulled off the street, but rather than turn him loose far from family, we slowly headed back to our driveway, encouraging him to hang on.  He seemed grateful when the car came to a stop and he leaped off in a familiar spot, home.

Lizard brings the message of detachment, of letting go of your fears.  When under attack, a lizard can snap off its tail to entertain a predator so he can freely make a get-away to safety. Lizard is also symbolic of dreaming and to pay attention to your dreams.

The angels are encouraging us to detach from the dream of separation as quickly as practical.  To wake up to the truth that we could never be separated from God, All-Knowing, All-Seeing, All Loving, All in All.  So whatever is absorbing your time and energy, take a lesson from lizard and detach from appearances. Choose to see things from a different perspective, one of a Spiritual being, made in the Image and Likeness of God.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

A Caladium A Message from Angels

                                         (A surprise Caladium yesterday)

The resurrection energy of Spring is bursting forth under the auspices of Archangel Raphael governor of Spring.  From recent blogs, you can see how nature is communicating.  Grow! Bloom! Be!

While eating lunch on the porch yesterday, Elliot spotted this big caladium in the corner. It had just shot up in a crowded pot with a bromeliad and some other plants I brought inside last winter.  I honestly don't remember the caladium being in that large pot, so imagine my surprise to see how it wended its way around the other plants and grew much taller to unfurl its angel leaves.   More was happening than met the eye as I later learned the caladium is symbolic of great joy and delight. It is also known as the Heart of Jesus or Angel Wings.  I love the message from nature: Keep on growing where you are now with your thoughts reaching higher day by day, you will rise above your circumstances and create the expanse for your angelic unfoldment.

Enjoy your day with the Angels!

A Purple Spiderwort: An Angel Message - Bloom Where You Are Planted

Spiderworts have always been a favorite. They are low maintenance and bloom where they are planted, freely sharing their beauty.  This flower apostle recently popped up through a break in the concrete sidewalk leading to our front door. I wondered how I'd missed it, growing wild, but we mostly take the stepping stone path from the driveway to the porch.

Its cheerful presence took me by surprise as angel messages often do.  "Here I am!" The victorious little spiderwort seemed to shout.  "Against all odds,I made it! Where there is a will, there is a way!" Smiling in purple blossoms of joy, it was just the message I needed to keep on keeping on.  Even more surprising, it had  survived the lawn mower the day before! Its zest for life must have touched the heart of the lawn care man who decided to let it be when edging the walk.

So, dear friends, if you are facing a challenge of any kind, just know that there is a power within you that is greater than your circumstances.  Rely on that loving Presence to see you through to the light of a new day.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and blessings,

Easter Messages from Nature

Happy Easter!

Before I could open my eyes this morning, a sweet little bird whistled a merry tune as he flew by the 9th floor baloney at the hotel where we stayed at Daytona Beach.  His cheerful song reminded me that Christ Has Risen! Sleepily, I thanked the little warbler as I hurried to the window in hopes of seeing the sunrise.  It was still dark..so I crawled back to bed.

Later, I had such hopes of capturing an Easter sunrise to share with you.  A thick cloud cover shrouded the horizon, but it couldn't fool me.  I knew the sun was still shining despite appearances.   The sun is always shining...something we often take for granted.  Another Easter "gift" was waiting on the outside of  the car door as we were leaving for home. The little winged one had hunkered down in the gusting winds waiting for calmer weather.. Seeing it there brought a smile. A bee is symbolic of doing the impossible (Their bodies aren't aerodynamically designed for flight but they do!) An angel message that brought to mind what Christ did on that triumphant Easter morn thousands of years ago!  He has risen, indeed!

Enjoy your Easter blessings!

Love,

Rae Karen

Live and Let Live: An Angel Message

You know the angels are around when you find yourself suddenly noticing something new about something old.  That happened to me yesterday. A favorite shirt was hanging on the clothesline in the laundry room.  Passing by,  I yanked it down. When folded I saw the neck tag:  Live and let live.  I've had the shirt for several years but the message seemed timely.  Christ came that we might have life more abundant.  LIVE!   The more we live and breathe and move in His consciousness, the fuller and richer become our lives and so are the lives of those around us.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.
