More Expansive Views of Gratitude: Angel Message

Last night's full moon shining over the ocean illuminated the rolling waves.   The expansive distance between the two was too great to capture them both in a photo.

This morning's sunrise in St. Augustine opened up beneath a pink, feathery cloud cover...filling the sky with brilliant light.

A change of scenery is good every now and then...   Shakes me out of a fixed routine...and into the joy of unexpected blessings that pop up thanks to the Holy Spirit, and the angels.  Have a blessed day.  The best is yet to be.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Easter Messages from Nature

Happy Easter!

Before I could open my eyes this morning, a sweet little bird whistled a merry tune as he flew by the 9th floor baloney at the hotel where we stayed at Daytona Beach.  His cheerful song reminded me that Christ Has Risen! Sleepily, I thanked the little warbler as I hurried to the window in hopes of seeing the sunrise.  It was still dark..so I crawled back to bed.

Later, I had such hopes of capturing an Easter sunrise to share with you.  A thick cloud cover shrouded the horizon, but it couldn't fool me.  I knew the sun was still shining despite appearances.   The sun is always shining...something we often take for granted.  Another Easter "gift" was waiting on the outside of  the car door as we were leaving for home. The little winged one had hunkered down in the gusting winds waiting for calmer weather.. Seeing it there brought a smile. A bee is symbolic of doing the impossible (Their bodies aren't aerodynamically designed for flight but they do!) An angel message that brought to mind what Christ did on that triumphant Easter morn thousands of years ago!  He has risen, indeed!

Enjoy your Easter blessings!

Love,

Rae Karen

A Patient Sunrise: An Angel Message

Sunrise this morning at Daytona Beach

The sun was slow to rise this morning; the sky had already lightened, but no sign of that golden energizing ball of light on the horizon.   Patience paid off, because it did finally appear in a dramatic and beautiful way, breaking through the clouds.

Some birds that enjoyed the start of a new day...a snowy ibis.

Wading in.

And, one of my favorites, the pelican scanning the surf for breakfast before making a plunge

Pelican is a good messenger right now.  He symbolizes staying buoyant and riding the waves, the storms will soon pass.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and blessings,

Karen

The Path to the Light

(Va. Beach Sunrise)

One may not
   reach the dawn
      save by
          the path of night.
                        -Kahlil Gibran

Yesterday this quotation, by one of my favorite poets, turned up on an old notepad.  It seemed like a perfect match with this Virginia Beach sunrise taken years ago.  The angels help to lighten our way in the dark hours of our personal storms.  When I stop and still my restless mind, I feel their loving presence assuring me that all is well. These are times of major shifts but we do "live and move and breathe in an atmosphere of divine love."  The key is to stay above it and not get sucked into the illusion.

Enjoy your day with the angels.

Blessings,

Karen

Silhouettes in the Sand

Elliot and I went to the beach on the morning of my birthday. Someone had drawn this circle in the sand and it reminded me of an eye. Playfully, I got a picture of our shadows in "the eye of God" and then we turned around to focus on the true Light of a beautiful new sunrise. Now I'm working hard to master this in a practical way in everyday life. Angels.... please... help!

Blessings,

Karen
