Welcome, Archangel Gabriel on the Winter Solstice

Today we welcome the Winter Solstice and Archangel Gabriel, the governor of the season whose name means God is my strength

Archangel Gabriel is the heavenly Annunciator who brings glad tidings of new life. He was the angel who announced to Mary her miraculous role in birthing the Christ child. According to the Bible, Gabriel also appeared to Zechariah announcing God's plan for his barren elderly wife Elizabeth to conceive a baby. Their precious child would be John the Baptist, the forerunner of Christ Jesus, The Light of the World.

Archangel Gabriel helps to stir a greater appreciation for the divinity within each of us as the angel of Love and Hope.
The winter solstice is a time to kindle our inner light in spite of the outer darkness. By spending quiet time in contemplation and meditation, we will awaken to our true divinity.

During this time of year, the angelic hierarchy draws closer to the earth, bathing the world in rays of divine love. This outpouring brings an expansion of consciousness beyond the physical world for those who still their minds and attune to the heavenly blessings.

Thank you, Archangel Gabriel.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

When To Keep Your Mouth Shut: Angel Message

Lately, the angels have been working with me on the power of speech.  According to the ancient Talmud, the Creator instructed the angel Gabriel to write on the forehead of the righteous signs so no sabotage angels can harm them. So Gabriel, the judge of us all, discerns and marks an invisible "R" for righteousness when we curb our reactive behavior.

To hold our tongue is one of the hardest things to do especially when we think we're right. The ego always wants to have the final word.

I found this list of helpful verses on when to keep silent.  Usually a "find" such as this, is a heads-up. I'm about to be tested so be prepared.  Guard your mouth.

May an angel warning bell ring in my head before I open my mouth and speak without thinking.   Whosoever keepeth his mouth and tongue, keepeth his soul from trouble.  (Proverbs 21)

In the heat of anger - Proverbs 4:17

When it's time to listen - Proverbs 13:1

When you're feeling critical - James 3:9

When you don't have all the facts - Proverbs 18:13

If you can't speak without yelling - Proverbs 25:28

If the issue is none of your business - Proverbs 14:10

When you are tempted to joke about sin - Proverbs 14:9

When you haven't verified the story - Deut. 17:6

IF you may have to eat your words later - Proverbs 18:21

If your words would destroy a friendship - Proverbs 16:28

When you are tempted to tell an outright lie - Proverbs 4:24

If your words will offend a weaker person - I Cor 8:11

If your words would convey a wrong impression - Proverbs 24:24

If your words will damage someone's reputation - Proverbs 16:27

When you are tempted to make light of holy things - Ecclesiastes 5:2

If you've already said it more than one time (it's now nagging) - Proverbs 19:13

Have a peaceful day with the help of your Guardian Angel, and may you pass every test.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Welcome Archangel Gabriel, Guardian of Winter!

Welcome Archangel Gabriel, the governor of the winter season.  Gabriel means God is my Strength.   December 21st marks the Winter Solstice; a good time to spend in nature to connect with the light.   Today the celestial hierarchy begin to infuse the earth with radiant angelic power.  It reaches its peak on midnight of Christmas Eve, and remains, outpouring upon the Earth, for 13 days through January 6, the time of Epiphany.

Gabriel is the heavenly Annunciation angel who brings glad tidings of new life. He  announced to Mary her miraculous role in birthing the Christ child. According to scripture, Gabriel also appeared to Zechariah, announcing God's plan for his barren wife Elizabeth to conceive a baby in her late years. Their child would be John the Baptist, the forerunner of Christ Jesus, The Light of the World.

He is the Patron Saint of Small Children.  Gabriel oversees and nourishes the child within each of us. With love and tenderness, Gabriel guides us to release our wounded inner child. He protects what is natural and pure within us.  He helps us nurture our strengths, and understand the truth in situations where there is conflict between what we know to be right, and what is being represented as truth.  Gabriel helps us to see what is real for us in our circumstances.  His wisdom offers hope, and lights the path to truth.

The winter season is a time pregnant with possibilities, like a seed planted deep in the soil.  A sacred time to withdraw from outer activities and to birth the light within our own darkness.  By paying close attention to our dreams, we can gain insight to bring more light to our circumstances.

Happy Winter Solstice!

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Healing Angel Vision

I want to share a beautiful vision I had last month on the morning we left for our trip to New York. I was very worried about a friend battling cancer. I decided to pray instead and get above the dark clouds of despair.

I began to think higher thoughts to lift the veil of consciousness. In my third eye I saw another friend dancing by me carrying a tambourine. She was leading a multitude of angels in the heavenly clouds in her white feathery wings.

Then came another friend in wings.

And several more friends from my spiritual study group passed by in a long line of celestial helpers. They all had wings as they wended their way round and round on white clouds, like tiers on an etheric wedding cake.

The vivid vision was in color and seemed to be a glimpse into the heavenly realms. Soon more and more angels came parading by, taking their position on white clouds spiraling upward, until the cake was filled up with angels.

The last angel stood on top of the cake. I was surprised when he blew a trumpet.

I knew then it was Gabriel. Then Jesus appeared beside him on top of the cake. It was all so unexpected and offered such promise to believe in things yet seen. I had been worrying that my friend had passed over and I saw her, too, as an angel. We were all angels which is what the Edgar Cayce readings say--our Higher Self is our Guardian Angel that never fell from Christ consciousness and still stands at the Throne of God.

I felt so much better. I shared my vision with Elliot and a funny thing happened on our way to New York that day. We stopped for dinner in Seaford, Delaware and then took a walk to a nearby Dollar Tree to stretch our legs after the long drive. There on the shelf in the store I saw a band of white porcelain angels. One especially caught my eye. The one with the trumpet. A reminder of my vision that morning. I bought the band to join us on our trip to see Elliot's father for his 90th birthday.

Whatever challenge you may be facing today, be comforted in knowing that you are more than you seem. You are a child of the Most High. An Angel in God's procession of Love.

Blessings,

Karen

Archangel Gabriel

In the Zohar, we learn more about Gabriel. After midnight he calls and then all the roosters of the world call. Gabriel writes down all the activities of the world's inhabitants each day and reads everything he wrote during the day.

It's hard to imagine that every thought we think, every act we do does not go unnoticed. There really are no secrets.

Always we are given the choice on what to do for we were created with free will. When we align with the Divine, our actions here on the earth plane arouse a stirring in the upper realm increasing the Light down here. The more we ask to be a channel for the Light, the more Light will be given according to the measure in which we use what is given us. The Light has no judgment. It either is or it isn't just as the sun shines equally on all. Being a channel for the Light means we have no special agendas, we are a conduit for receiving and then sharing, keeping our vessel open to divine inspiration.

Rise and shine,

Karen

Our Lady of Victory

This morning I was in bed, thinking about what to blog. Because I wasn't so mobile yesterday I rested and read a book I bought at Ollie's the day before. The Prayer of Mary was beautifully written and a peacefulness settled over me as I read about Mary's simple "Yes" to the Angel Gabriel and how it changed everything for all of us. "I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word." (Luke 1:38) In the words of author, Keith Fournier, "Angels still come at the specific moment that God chooses to intervene in our lives. He is outside of time but always on time."

God extends the invitation and waits for us to respond. He never violates our free will. Mary was full of grace. I tried to imagine myself filled with so much grace, there wasn't room for anything else. Reading this book gave me a better idea of Mother Mary's earth walk. Her humbleness in doing God's will recognizing it was He who does it.

So, I was thinking about blogging about Mother Mary and sharing this photo. I keep it on our dresser. I love seeing her in nature with the trees. Many years ago, I found it in a little bookstore in Mount Shasta. When I got out of bed to get a book from the bookcase, a long forgotten brochure popped up entitled, Mary's Victory Noll.

The word Victory seemed to jump out at me.

Yesterday the 111 Victory ball.

Today, Mary's Victory Noll.

Something was up.

Photos of Our Lady of Victory Noll Center in Huntington, IN (http://www.olvm.org/) were inside the pamphlet taken by our dear friends Edra and Jack who sent us the information last year.

I began to wonder, "Am I being called to visit this beautiful retreat?" I believe I was a nun in many lifetimes. Why else would I blurt out "Hail Mary full of grace!" in an emergency. Although not Catholic, I've always had an affinity for Mary.

This morning's mail brought special rosary beads from my friend Larraine in Brooklyn. Mother Mary is close. And thank goodness, I can walk better today. Meanwhile, we're staying tuned for a possible trip to Victory Noll.

Wishing you a joyful day with your Angels and watch for the synchronicity bubbles in your life.

Angelic blessings,

Karen
