Like sand sifting through an hour glass...

Mom often watched the daytime soap opera,  The Days of Our Lives.  The dramatic introduction began with an hour glass and the words, "Like  sand sifting through an hour glass, so are the days of our lives..."  I can still see that vivid image on the TV.  A reminder that life here on Earth is short so make the most of each moment.

Sand as a way of spending time caught my attention when I saw this amazing creation in such detailed perfection.  An angel ministering to someone in need.  I'm not sure which Bible story this depicts but I understand that out of the ordinary comes the extraordinary.  The artist gifted us with a beautiful sand sculpture by using what was available, a wide beach of sand.

How do I spend my days?  There is always a choice to be made.  And I get to experience the results of my thinking.  Wherever I find my hands may I use them to the best of my ability to make the world a more loving, kind place.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and blessings,

Rae Karen
