This morning before getting out of bed, I found myself asking the angels for my word for today.
"Consternation"
The sound of that word seemed harsh with "stern" in the middle. I looked up the definition. It means to bewilder, alarm: amazement or dismay that hinders or throws into confusion.
When I first heard "consternation" my mind immediately switched over to a better word, "Constellation" (which interestingly is listed directly above consternation in the dictionary.) A constellation is the configuration of stars especially at one's birth; any of 88 arbitrary configuration of stars; an assemblage, collection, or gathering of usually related persons, qualities, or things."
Closing the dictionary, I thought about how often when I'm embracing a new concept of truth, my ego mind is thrown into a state of amazement or bewilderment as the paradigm shifts into a new constellation, totally out of the box of our so-called reality. As humans, we go through a temporary state of confusion as we discover we expand our thinking to embrace more than we currently can know. We are being reborn.
The Angel of Authenticity is my card today; a golden aura emanates from her heart. I am humbled by these angel messages as I don't always understand where they are leading, but I do get a glimpse every now and then that they are guiding me to a higher understanding of my true essence.
I had to laugh later when I came across the word constellation in my A Course in Miracles book:
"Every decision is made for the whole Sonship, directed in and out, and influencing a constellation larger than anything you ever dreamed of."
Just like the butterfly effect, we are all in this together, a grand awakening, so the angels remind us to watch our thoughts and words for they influence the world.
