Home is where the heart is: Angel Message

                                      Pigeons at Lake Helen

Centuries ago, ages before the advent of mobile phones, pigeons played an important role in communications.  No matter how far these homing birds flew to deliver a message, they always found their way back home thanks to an internal GPS.  Recently I learned Christoper Columbus's real name was "Columbo"(an Italian word for pigeon).  And, thanks to his discovery our home is in America.

This loving pair of sunlit pigeons, perched atop a power-pole by the lake, shared a tender moment, and delivered an angel message. To take time out during the day to whisper tender words of love and appreciation each day. Remember, home is where the heart is.

May God bless America and safely "guide her through the night with a light from above."

Love and peaceful blessings,

Little Things Make a BIG Difference

On my birthday, a heavy rain suddenly turned our front-walk into a clear pool of moving water.   A welcomed sign of relief on a hot steamy afternoon. While soaking in the view from the living room window, a tiny little creature caught my eye...leaping about in the waters.

Smaller than a dime, the little frog made one leap, and then another...splashing along the concrete pool to get to the other side.  Frogs need water, and I felt his enthusiasm after a long dry spell.  I laughed, enjoying his happy leaps, and a reminder for me to f.r.o.g. it.   To Fully Rely on God.

The F.R.O.G. message intensified when to my surprise the refreshing swimming pool bubbled with life. Little frogs soon appeared, one by one, leaping in the water, a joyful celebration.  They came in every direction...here, there, and everywhere.   I counted five little frogs join in the baptism.

Angels always deliver...

And, this was a wonderful birthday message to begin a new birth year.  An angel reminder for everyone to take to heart.  No matter what, Fully Rely on God.  The best is yet to be.

Love will always make a way.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Happy Mother's Day, An Angel Message

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/c8/79/3e/c8793e928655ddcf590ea0741a3b409a.png

Following an angel nudge, I found this comforting poem about mothers on-line this morning. The sentiment, coupled with a purple iris, were a blessing too tender not to share regarding my dear sweet mother up above.

Wishing you a happy Mother's Day, with love.

Palm Tree, A Face of Peace: Angel Message

Something amusing happened after the Semper paratus Gumby, always flexible angel blog. I don't go looking for these things, they show up when least expected.  That's what happened when my attention was drawn toward a favorite tall palm tree in the front yard. I was resting on the bed after lunch, gazing out the window.  My thoughts neither here nor there... then I saw it. My old palm friend had put on a new face. When did it happen?  Two clear eyes and a big smile.  And, what was the message?

Then an angel thought wafted by. Palm trees are known for their flexibility.  They bend down low during storms so as not to lose their tops.  Their elastic smooth trunks enable the tropical trees to lay low until the mighty winds pass. A tip that I should be flexible now underscored by a second heads-up two days in a row.

I read the palm tree is the Tree of Peace. "It is a reminder to look for and realize the divine within.   It can be a messenger for members of the angelic hierarchy." (Nature-Speak by Ted Andrews)

I shouldn't have been surprised to learn palm trees can be a messenger for the angels. Now is the time to look for and realize the divine within.  To not be deceived by appearances, but seek the kingdom within, and find peace in the midst of life's storms.  God has sent his angels to help us.  The best is yet to be.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Semper Gumby! An Angel Message

A tall green stretchable Gumby stands on the kitchen windowsill wearing a sticker heart.  His hand extended in a friendly wave of attention.  A reminder this is a day to stretch and grow like cheerful Gumby.
Every adversity comes with a blessing so bend and stretch and grow higher beyond the perception of our limited five senses.

The creator of this cartoon character must have had a heads-up when naming his pliable toy.  There's a Latin phrase: Semper Gumby, that means always flexible. A perfect fit. You could bend him, twist and stretch him, but he was unbreakable. He was always flexible.

In Science and Health, with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy writes about another helpful Latin phrase.  "Semper paratus is Truth's motto."

Semper paratus means Divinity is always ready.

Semper paratus became a code word I playfully use to stop my ego's fearful chatter. Maybe you remember the 1950's sci-fi thriller, The Day The Earth Stood Still.  To save the Planet Earth from destruction by a giant robot from outer space, Patricia Neal had to give the iconic command: Klaatu barada nikto! (Not an easy phrase to remember)

One thing leads to another and so I took a hint from the movie to shut down my ego's destructive thought process.  At the first sign of inner distress, I silently command, Semper paratus!  No more ego chatter about fear, doubt, gloom and doom.

Semper paratus!!! God's already got this!  Divinity is always ready.

So like lovable green Gumby try your best to smile, stretch and grow beyond the lower temptation to doubt your true Identity in Christ, a holy Child of God. Keep your thoughts on high and abide there.

Have a blessed day, and remember the best is yet to be.  Smile and stay flexible knowing God is with you wherever you are.  Divinity is always ready.  Semper paratus!

Love and peace,
Rae Karen

A Lesson from a Peace Plant: Angel Message

An impromptu angel idea to stop at the fairgrounds weekly flea market didn't seem like a hit.  It was late, the vendors would be packing up. The chances of finding a ripe watermelon weren't likely...but just for fun we went.  It had been a long time.

The grounds were mostly vacant, the shoppers long gone, but a floral vendor had a beautiful selection of $15 large rose bushes.  The old-fashioned, sweet smelling kind like Grandma had grown in her garden.  Although tempted, I wasn't up to digging deep in sandy soil. So I went for a little $5 peace plant. Those  tall white blooms stuck out as if broadcasting peace. It must have been so because walking the grounds, everyone smiled our way as I carried the little peace plant waving in the breeze.

At home, our peace plant held its peace on the mantle by the TV set for several weeks.  Then suddenly, it didn't.  It happened overnight.  Drooping leaves, flowers bowed down low. I had neglected to plant it in a new pot.   When I popped the Peace Plant out of its plastic pot, what a pitiful sight.  The whole plant was consumed by thick white roots, binding it round and round, with no room to grow. I asked the plant to forgive me and ran to the store for potting soil. Before long, it was in a terracotta pot with fresh soil, and plenty of room to stretch out.  What a happy sight when the peace plant was restored in less than hour.  Leaves shiny like new, peace broadcasting on white cupped microphones.  Peace. Peace. Peace.

I got the angel message...sometimes we have to give peace a chance.  To make more room in our heart space for it to be rooted and grow in forgiveness and loving kindness.  The angels are here to help us when we ask.

 Love and peace,

Rae Karen

A Daring Blue Jay: An Angel Message

Yesterday a beautiful blue jay came calling--a rare visit, adding a splash of color, and bringing back an old memory.  Many years ago, I saw this daring blue jay in action.  Fearlessly, he swooped down from the old camphor tree and landed on the bowl of cat chow. Quickly he picked up a morsel, and flew back to the tree, disregarding the imminent danger of a sleeping cat close by.  He raided the bowl time and again while Mr. Paws napped on the patio.

Jays are known to be fearless, and our bird-feeder was empty so he went for other provisions available. I admired his courage. A demonstration that blue jays can easily adapt to whatever is necessary to survive. After all, food is food when you're hungry.

Turns out, that when a blue jay appears, a time of greater adaptability is at hand.  Resourcefulness will soon unfold.  The blue jay can also help to connect with the deepest mysteries of the earth and heaven. But we must stay focused, and follow-through in order to feed our soul.

The blue jay also delivers a reminder to finish what you've started before beginning something new. Don't leave projects dangling. Bring them to completion.  (I need to work on this...one morsel at a time...)

And, more importantly, when a blue jay appears, it may reflect lessons in using your own power appropriately. A reminder not to allow yourself to be placed in a position in which power is misused against you as well. The Golden Rule is the best way. Treat others like you want to be treated.

The jay came right on time...and I am thankful for the language of angels that helps me to gain understanding and clarity just when needed, bird by bird.

Keep your eyes open for angel messages today.  You'll be surprised at what you see when you seek and find. God is Love.

Love and blessings,

Rae Karen

The Full Flower Moon of May 2026

On Saturday morning, I was startled awake by a jolt. The radiant full moon of May splashed through the window slats, in a burst of bright light.  Quickly I dressed and followed the angel nudge.   This is how The Flower Moon looked at 5:45 a.m. when I stepped outside in the stillness of a slumbering world.  Walking slowly down the driveway, looking up, there she was...A radiant orb aglow like a gazing ball, peeking through the branches of the oak, in the Marian Butterfly Garden.  I smiled grateful for her touch of nature among the flowers.

Before the clouds could roll in, I hurried out to the clearing and stood by the pasture fence to zoom closer to my old friend, Bella Luna.

Peace, serenity, and light...a welcomed quietness in a moment of sacred silence.  I could almost hear my heart beat as the world slipped away.

Nature is full of wonders...

May is Mother Mary's month, a celebration of motherhood and flowers. Roses, irises, daisies, marigolds, plumbago--and endless list of floral apostles in many varieties; each one delivering a divine message of love, hope, and light.  Beloved Mother Mary delivered a precious gift of infinite Light through her beloved Son, Jesus the Christ, a Light that shattered this dark world bringing new life.

Every flower has a purpose and the one that finds you is not by chance.  Recently, I counted over thirty buds and blossoms on the wild pear cactus growing in the sandy pasture where the Flower Moon shone bright.  And, like I shared earlier, opuntia humifusa symbolizes maternal love because it endures and thrives in harsh conditions like the unconditional love of a mother.  Yellow is the color of faith.  And this pear cactus not only persevered but thrived like never before during the severe winter.

A reminder that whatever you may be going through, keep on having faith that the best is yet to be.  Remember you are more than you presently realize, a power far greater than you is with you when you abide in the Shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 91) A place of peace and safety in all life's trials.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

A Daily Wreath of Angel Blessings

Maybe you've noticed how things once treasured are no longer really seen. They still adorn the walls, blending in, only now are taken for granted. I'm learning the angels will revive their presence by teaching a powerful lesson with that artifact, giving it greater meaning.

Like this vintage sculpted angel wreath in the dining room. It faithfully hangs near the Tiffany lamp switch I turn on each morning...without so much as a glance of gratitude.   But today, I found myself studying the wreath looking for what I recalled was a cherub tenderly holding a bunny rabbit.

Yesterday morning on my way out to the porch with the birdseed, I stopped in my tracks.  Was I seeing double?! Instead of the unusual lone rabbit, he had a companion. A tender sight to see a pair of cottontail rabbits communing at the start of a new day.

Rabbits are about new life, and new beginnings.

They can make great leaps and hops... and easily shift gears from freezing to great acceleration.  Like the rabbit, our life may not always move forward step by step, but in spurts of great leaps and hops.

Thanks to those lovable rabbits, the vintage angels of nature wreath took on new life.  A wreath of angels encircles each day with nature and song. For me to look and expect to see evidence of their loving touches.  The simple acts of love that often go unnoticed. To become more conscious of what's going on around me...to really pay attention to the things that are important.  Love, peace, joy, and harmony--gifts that no one can take away unless I get distracted and look the other way. Each day is truly surrounded with a wreath of God's angels in celebration of divine Love.  A call to new life.

Like Alice, we can follow the rabbit to Wonderland...and wake up to the Truth.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Endurance Tree: Angel Message

Look at my tree friend arrayed in a brand new coat of lacy green leaves.  A living testimony to the power of faith in action. Endurance in adversity.  You may recall this amazing tree went through a major change in environment after the hurricanes a few years ago that flooded the lake in depth and width.  No longer on dry land, her trunk was steeped in deep waters up to her waist. Now marshy grasses gather round about her, but her roots are four feet under still anchored in the earth.

To be honest, this spring, my tree friend was slow to return...and I sadly assumed she had moved on to greener pastures. The winter freeze had been too much, so I thought, thanking her for teaching me the power of enduring, making the best of a drastic change in her living conditions.  A job well done... but I was mistaken.

So you can imagine my surprise, the next time I visited the lake, there she was!  A glowing vision of endurance.  Arms opened wide as if to say, I'm back!  Don't give up.  The best is yet to be.

And, it seems fitting a short time later, these white wispy clouds looked like angels jumping for joy!

Whatever you may be going through just now, and I don't really know anyone not facing a challenge of some kind, remember not to be deceived by appearances.  You are greater than your circumstances.  Call upon a loving power within you that will see you through to victory.  God is Love.  And angels are by your side always to help you along the way home.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Put A Little Love in Your Heart: Angel Message

Yesterday on the way home, an impromptu stop at the Dollar General caught me off guard.  With a few kitchen items in hand, I quickly passed down the garden aisle on my way to check-out.  LOL!  Would you believe this giant earthworm stuck out on a shelf.  The only one on display, eye-level with mine, his lowly head raised up!   I laughed...what were the chances?!  A touch of playful angel humor.... And a big reminder to put a little love in my heart just like I managed to do with the squiggly earthworm when I looked down and saw him stuck out in the middle of the road on Saturday.

Thoughts are things...and what we focus on comes into manifestation.  I love it.

With earthworm in hand, I shared my experience with the cashier who had playfully shuddered when she picked the big worm up off the counter.  Taking a closer look, she smiled, saying, he's cute. What's his name?

Squiggly blurted out of my mouth.   We laughed, and leaving the store, she called out, Be blessed.

The worm energy caught on again when I heard a catchy new word.  Ear worm. Maybe you already know that an ear worm is when a song or an ad gets stuck in your mind all day.

A friend recently shared a sixties hit by Jackie DeShannon at a weekly meeting.  Put A Little Love in Your Heart is available by searching on youtube.  Love is what the world needs right now.  Listen, and may the little love you feel worm its way into all your actions and thoughts today. Put a little love in your heart...and see what happens.

Love and peace,

Happy Mother Earth Day! An Angel Message

A little songbird bird chirping outside the bedroom window helped me realize today is Mother Earth Day, April 22.

Today let's celebrate the beauty and wonder of our precious planet and thank her for our home.  Enjoy a song Elliot wrote many years ago, (click Mother Earth's in Love.)

Happy Earth Day!

The Ups and Downs of What Goes Round and Round: Angel Message

I remember the playfulness and joy at a carnival--a time of happy childhood memories.  The Ferris wheel is a good symbol for the cycles of life.  A reminder that change is constant--and every ending leads to a new beginning. To live in the moment and embrace joy in the now.

Remember the thrill of lifting off the ground--coming higher and higher into the sky--the view expanding the higher we rise.  A reminder to rise above daily struggles and look at situations with clarity and wisdom.  To step back and look at a situation from a higher perspective and trust that everything is unfolding according to a divine plan.

Trials are but lessons we've yet to master...opportunities keep coming round and round, to provide another chance to come up higher until we finally heal that karmic pattern.  It's tempting to practice avoidance--not face the problem head on...but a new cast of characters will enter our life to spotlight the issue within us!

When we humbly ask for our hidden faults to be revealed and healed, the Holy Spirit will shine the light and help us to understand the issue through a lens of divine love.   Spiritual growth and transformation come with the rising and falling--there are ups and down like the Ferris wheel.  And, when we accept setbacks as part of the spiritual journey, and challenges as opportunities for growth, we can find ourselves grateful for the experience in the art of becoming who we truly are.

It is not you that shape God,
it is God that shapes you.
If then you are the work of God,
await the Hand of the Artist who
does all things in due season.
Offer Him your heart, soft and tractable,
and keep the form in which the Artist has
fashioned you. Let your clay be moist,
lest you grow hard and lose the imprint
of His fingers.
                   --Saint Irenaeus

A Helping Hand to a Gardener Friend: An Angel Message

On our way home from an early morning walk, a weary "gardener", half-dead, laid out in the sunlit road.  The lowly earthworm slightly lifted his head off the hot pavement, and in an unexplainable instant of oneness, I quickly reached down and lifted it up in my bare hands. An act that surprised me as I cupped it in my hand and walked on.

Elliot had watched, wondering what was I doing?  He thought the worm was dead.  But I walked on, affirming it was alive; I'd seen him look up when we passed by.

Walking fast, when we came closer towards home,  a happy pulse wriggled in my cupped hand, tickling my palm with life. A worm was one of the first gardeners, and my wayward gardener friend soon had a new home in a large planter of marigolds in the Marian Butterfly Garden.

Curious, I dug around to learn more.  An earthworm has some short bristles on each segment.  These help it move through the dirt.  The bristles need to push against something in order to move.  That's the reason the worm can't move on a pane of glass.

My encounter with the earthworm was not by chance.  It turns out, an earthworm brings a message to rework old ground.  To review what we've experienced, examining and digesting what has happened in life. Then we can decide what to cast off as no longer beneficial, or purposeful. This will let in fresh air and open us to new growth.

Earthworm often shows up in times of turmoil, and we feel the need to be alone.  A reminder to take stock before making another decision, and not react too hastily.  Any sorrows occurring, any breakups in the soil of our life are essential to our future growth even though turmoil may be hard.  Be sure to work on the old thoroughly before moving on to the new.

I was thankful for the earthworm message that taught me--to get beyond my fears and do what I can in the immediacy of the now to help another in need.

It's comforting to know that we are always in the presence of God's angels.   And God speaks to us in many surprising ways to teach us what we need to learn and grow in spirit. To teach only love...

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

A Lesson in Endurance/Resilience: Angel Messenger

Yesterday a beautiful sight from the bedroom window brightened my day.  The hardy prickly pear cactus shouted for joy in big yellow showy flowers out in the sandy, arid pasture.  She had survived the harsh winter, and grown stronger and wider in adversity, a symbol of fortitude and hidden beauty.

Cactus adapt to some of the harshest conditions, and yet they flower in the most beautiful, delicate blossoms.  That's why the cactus represents energies that help manifest richness and beauty under all conditions.  An angel message to rediscover the elixer of life inspite of our outer conditions.  Cactus manifest life waters wherever one is parched.

I learned, too, that the prickly pear cactus (opuntia humifusa) is a symbol of maternal love because it can endure and thrive in harsh conditions like the unconditional love of a mother.  Yellow is the color of faith, and cactus represents an endurance and strength to survive in new environments and situations. Strength and gentleness can co-exist. And, we are never alone, God has sent his angels to be with us in all of our ways.  Don't give up, the best is yet to be.  Take it slow and steady, one day at a time.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

The Missing Cardinal Geranium: Angel Message

Stranger than fiction?  First thing this morning I went to the Butterfly Garden with my daily cup of bird seed, singing the Doxology.  During the night, rain had filled the birdseed platter.  Everything smelled fresh,  renewed.  This week's heavy rainfall was the answer to Florida's drought, restoring the water tables.

I stood in the stillness soaking up the beautiful flowers, especially a large clay pot of new red geraniums. But to my surprise, one of the two plants was gone!  Completely uprooted, with a gaping hole!  A closer look at other potted geraniums held a clue.  Some of their red blooms had been pruned by hungry teeth. I was thankful the plants were intact, along with promising buds. A tell-tale sign deer had enjoyed a midnight snack on my new red Cardinal Ringo geraniums.

It may sound strange, but I was happy those gentle creatures are still around--unseen, but not unnoticed.  With construction in the area, a little geranium here and there is fair game.  And, I was at fault for ignoring an angel thought to move the potted geraniums on the back porch steps at bedtime last night.

Kind of funny though--as deer represents gently being guided on a new adventure.  And, geraniums are all about  new happiness and vitality; to take advantage of new opportunities.  The green sticks on the blossom-less plants stuck up like exclamation points on the angel message regarding a new adventure.  Besides, many Cardinal Ringo geraniums are in bloom, and the trimmed plants will grow, and blossom again.

But it was a mystery how one whole geranium plant was taken--that never happened before.  And why  only one Cardinal geranium left standing alone in that old clay pot.

Later this morning, something strange happened...   When I went to plant the vincas in the Butterfly Garden.  Directly behind where I stood, I turned around by the geraniums pots. VOILA!

The uprooted geranium plant lay on the ground intact, and ready to replant.

Puzzled, I thankfully, put it back in the pot where it belonged.  It's still a mystery how it reappeared out of nowhere.  Clearly this morning, the Cardinal geranium was gone, but that was only temporary.  It mysteriously returned again, ready to pick up life again.   God is good!

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Drumming in Spring: Angel Message

Following an angel lead paid off not only in timing but also price.  On our way to a major garden center for flowers, inspiration came to stop by Ace Hardware first. (A mom and pop store.)  Their flowers are usually outside on shelves by the front entrance.  Timing was perfect.  A new flat of red geraniums, and several hanging baskets were soon loaded into our car, far cheaper than at Lowes, our next stop.  In search of yellow marigolds, and white vincas we were at the right place at the right time there, too.  An employee was just marking the marigolds down 75 percent...and I got my pick.

When potting the red geraniums, I had an aha moment! I found out the geraniums were called Cardinal.  "When a departed love one draws near, a cardinal appears."  Usually, the cardinal is a red bird, but in this instance, I had happy thoughts of my sweet mom who enjoyed geraniums as much as I do. It felt like a smile from heaven in a soggy garden.  Ringo 2000 Cardinal, on the plastic marker, was a clear sign to drum in springtime.  These spontaneous little touches of love warm the heart with a deeper understanding that our loved ones may be out of sight but not out of touch.  Love is eternal.

I looked up the symbolism of geranium.  New happiness and vitality; take advantage of new opportunities. Are we hesitating? Now is time to act. To march to the "drumming" of a new rhythm.  Remember you are never alone.  God has given his angels charge over you.  The best is yet to be.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Singing in the Rain: Angel Message

Relief from the drought came late last week. The wind picked up, the sky opened up, and the rains finally came pouring down in a joyful sound-- one I often take for granted. At that moment, I was sitting on the screened porch gratefully soaking up the symphonic rhythm of happy little raindrops. Immediately a lone frog began singing  in a loud voice in the nearby bushes.  The frog didn't care who heard him, he belted out  his song with all he had. He sang because he was grateful.  It didn't matter if his voice sounded like a creaking shoe.

Amen! I laughed, thankful for the angel reminder.  The acronym for FROG:    FULLY RELY ON GOD.

He responded in a chorus of triumphant CREAK! CREAK! CREAK!

Last night, an abundance of rain replenished the dry earth, nourishing the trees, bushes, grass, and flowers.  A touch of playful synchronicity had happened earlier yesterday when this big-eyed green frog garden ornament took a leap into my cart-- one-of-a kind, at the Dollar General.  Ribbit!  Fully Rely on God.

The keynote of frog is transformation through water and sound.  The call of the frog is the call of the waters.  The frog is a symbol of metamorphosis.  It changes from an egg, to a tadpole, to a frog.  Even after it becomes a frog, it lives close to water.  Emotions are associated with water.

When moving like a tortoise under pressure, it's helpful to remember the symbolism of the frog, pictured in this statue, guiding the way.  And, to know that we, too, will move forward under grace with the help of the angels when we fully rely on God and take it slow and steady, expecting the best is yet to be.   And keep on singing your own harmonious song. It makes a world of difference.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Easter Splashes of Joy: Angel Messages

During these challenging times we live in, I'm learning more to try to stay in the now of each moment. By being fully present in the now, wonderful things happen naturally when I have eyes to see and ears to hear, and expect the happy things of God to come to me.

Early Easter morning, I went out to feed the birds in the stillness before the dawn.  That's when a startled cotton-tail bunny scampered across the driveway.  An Easter Bunny on Easter morning was a photo op not to be missed.  When I returned with my camera, Peter Cottontail was waiting for me.  Rabbits are about new life, fertility, and new beginnings.

I caught sight of the Easter moon illumined bright over the pasture, and birds were singing to welcome  the new day--a sweet moment of serenity.

But the best was yet to be...

Later that morning, while taking the cat litter out to the trash, I happened to look down at a startling revelation.  A long green straggly vine reached out toward me, presenting a little white rose. In that moment, it felt as if an angel had touched me on the shoulder.  "See!"

Last week, I had noticed the old stump of a rose bush by the garage.  A sad sight, I took her for a goner after the winter freeze.  But was I wrong.

Now on Easter morning, a glorious white rose reached out and touched my heart with the promise of resurrection energy.  To make sure I was seeing right, I traced the long vine back to the rose clump. My heart sank with compassion and admiration for her persistence.  Without a sturdy stem to support her buds, the rugged rose bush had made a way to bloom with all she had to work with. Amazingly she had created a long vine for her buds to reach out for the sun and bloom on resurrection Sunday.

The roses on the bush had been yellow over the years.   Yellow is the color of faith. But on Easter her rose, and roses to be, were white.  A symbol of purity and spirit.  A tender touch of Mother Mary's grace, loving-kindness and compassion on Easter morning. The best is yet to be.

As you can see, the stumpy rose stem was gone. Sometimes we may feel like we have nothing left to give...but Love will always make a way.

Take a lesson from the Easter Rose, and remember God is the strength in which you can trust.  The best is yet to be.  Keep having faith, and remember you are never alone.  You can never be separated from the love of God.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

Keeping the Pace: An Angel Message

While out for a drive, this giant concrete tortoise grabbed my attention.  An amusing combo of the tortoise and hare fable. Those  pink bunny ears and yellow peep glasses, create quite a spectacle on parade for Easter week.   Moving under pressure, wearing a jelly bean necklace, the giant tortoise is a reminder to keep a steady pace and don't get discouraged.  Keep your ears attuned on high, and see the peeps through heart shaped glasses.  You, too, will cross the finish line in victory. It's always darkest before the dawn, so keep having faith and press on! The angels are with you every step of the way.

By the way, the brown cotton-tail rabbit is back grazing in the grass.  I got a peep of him early this morning.  Have a blessed Holy Week.  Good Grace! The best is yet to be.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

A Humble Donkey: Angel Message

Our Jerusalem donkey neighbors were out in the pasture yesterday anxious to greet us at the fence. You can see the brown "cross" on their backs.

Just now wondering what to write about the donkeys, an angel thought reminded me that tomorrow is Palm Sunday.  The day Jesus entered into Jerusalem on a lowly donkey, triumphantly arriving as King of Peace.  Historically, to enter a city on a donkey signified a sign of peace, rather than a conquering king arriving on a horse.  Jesus was showing meekness and humility, even while the crowds were shouting praises and spreading their garments in the way in his honor.  He knew he could do nothing without the Father.

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday.  A spiritual week to be still, and ponder the miraculous gift of eternal life Christ offered to the world. We are immortal children of God by accepting this gift through Christ's obedience to His Father's will.   Death is swallowed up in Victory.

Join in singing the "Old Hundredth" (known as the doxology):

"Praise God from whom all blessings flow.  Praise him all creatures here below.  Praise him above ye heavenly host.  Praise Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen."  (Composer Louis Bourgeois, 1551)

Love and peace,

Welcoming the Spring Solstice 2026

The Spring Solstice began yesterday with Archangel Raphael at the helm ushering in the resurrection energy of this powerful season.  Nature played a welcoming hand, full of surprises.  While  sitting by the garden in the sunshine, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a wild turkey trot by the side of the garage.  So unexpected, and beautiful, I held my breath.  The turkey was going for the birdseed. And I gently looked away so as not to frighten her.  When I turned again hoping she was close by, the turkey was long gone, but her joyful message of thanksgiving stayed with me.  A blessing of gratitude and abundance to celebrate Spring.

Here's a few photos of turkeys that showed up in previous years.

The angels remind us that we are a blessing from God--we are blessed wherever we are. No matter how dire our circumstances may be, things will unfold in our favor.  We can only miss being a blessing by not believing we are worthy to receive.  In this new season, a season of resurrection energy, rebirth, and renewal, it's a wonderful time to celebrate a new beginning by opening our hearts to receive and be blessed, and be a blessing to others.  The world needs love now...and we will brighten our corner of the earth when we choose to recognize that every problem comes with a solution, shining right beside it in that moment of fear, anger, or guilt.  By choosing love, peace, and joy, the Holy Spirit will open the way in grace and goodness.  And, we will step back in gratitude and let Him lead the way. Divine love will always make a way.  Expect the best is yet to be.

Love and peace,

A Fable Comes to Life: An Angel Message

On Sunday after the skies cleared, a cotton-tailed rabbit appeared by the mulch bed! A welcoming sign of spring, new life, and fertility.   During the pond excavation, the rabbits had disappeared.  Now things were returning to normal as the brown bunny contentedly munched on the grass like old times.

A surprise visitor showed up... I could hardly believe a large black turtle ambled across the lane.  An answer to a recent question, where the turtles had gone?   A happy sight, moving along under pressure, he was back.  And, somehow he had managed to climb out of the steep walls of the overflow reservoir. A feat of itself.

The bold mossy backed turtle crossed the lane, and was marching toward the unsuspecting rabbit.  The odds of capturing a turtle and a hare together on film was one of those angels messages in nature.  I grabbed my camera, and let the close encounter roll.

In the childhood fable, the tortoise/turtle wins the race with the hare.  Turtle represents moving under pressure--a reminder that all you need you have with you.   You will persevere.  Keep having faith.

In Animal-Messengers, I learned that turtle also represents Mother Earth, a messenger of love.  Love is the power that nourishes all life on this planet. It is this power that gives your life new direction and makes new creation possible--but slowly. Do not rush anything, and keep solid ground under your feet. The best is yet to be.

In closing, remember you are never alone. God has given his angels charge over you.  And, try to take time to appreciate nature each day.  Listen and watch for loving messages coming your way.  The song of a bird, a budding flower, fluffy white cloud formations, or snowflakes drifting on air.  Whatever it may be, it will speak God's language of love to your heart.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen

His Helping Hand: An Angel Message

Dear Friends,
I discovered a forgotten prayer card in an old journal.  Over twenty years ago, when my life was in a state of trusting day by day, this card came to me in an unusual way.  I had stopped by a printing shop in Atlanta to have a color copy of Jesus knocking at the door enlarged.  A reminder that Christ is forever knocking on the door of my consciousness, hoping for an invitation to enter, and give me peace.

To my surprise, the shop owner had a stack of free prayer cards on the counter.  The woman's picture on the card was full of worry, and I could relate as I had no idea what the future may hold  for me.  Having quit the security of my government job, and making a major move to another state,  I had humbly yielded to what was beyond my control.

So finding this card today seemed significant, a gentle reminder that brings peace and assurance that at this hour of uncertainty our  time is in His loving hands.  God is All in all.  God is Love.

Do not look forward to the changes
and chances of this life in fear,
rather look to them with full hope that,
as they arise, God will deliver
you out of them.
He has taken care of you before.

Do hold fast to His dear hand,
and He will lead you safely through
all things; and, when you cannot stand,
He will bear you up in His arms.

Do not look to what may happen tomorrow...
the same everlasting Father who cares for
you today will take care of you tomorrow
and everyday.  Either He will shield you
from suffering, or He will give you
unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace then, and put aside all
anxious thoughts and imaginings.
                        -Amen

This Too Shall Pass: An Angel Message

Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Years ago, I found this keeper on-line. The image of the little mallard on the edge of a slippery water fall made an impression. He is bent on prayer watching a mad torrent of rushing water pass through his rubbery orange feet.  He is not moved, but stands firm.

An angel caption came to mind. "This too shall pass."

It's comforting to remember that whatever we're dealing with today, it has come to pass, not to stay.

Change is the only constant. Everything in life is both coming and going like the rushing tides of the sea throughout time.

"This too shall pass," is a calming reminder not to get swept away in the world's drama.  With the help of the Holy Spirit and the angels, we can find peace moment by moment. Peace not only for ourselves but for the world.

Feet represent dominion, where we place our feet is holy ground.  So  we can choose to stay centered by going within, and fully relying on God's loving guidance.  We can stand firmly planted on the Truth, and not go over the waterfall.  When our emotions begin to rise, we can try our best to let them roll of our back like water off a duck's back. And, like this humble blue-headed mallard, choose to stand still, and come up higher in prayer to let go and find peace in the midst of trials. But it's not always easy to do...that's where grace comes in.  And there will be other opportunities to get it right.

As you go about your day, remember you are never alone.  You have a guardian angel with you, always ready to love, protect, comfort, and direct your steps. The best is yet to be.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Swinging, The Dynamics of Life - An Angel Message

Remember the thrill you felt on a swing, pumping your arms and feet in a slow, steady rhythm. Back and forth, the creaking chains, carried you higher and higher reaching for the sky. Then, when you knew you reached your limit, slowing down, you bailed out.

The dynamics of life are explained in this simple skill.  At the low point near the ground, one must stand tall in the swing, and at the height, one must bend low at the knees to keep the momentum up.

A reminder to stand tall when feeling low, and when feeling high and mighty, humbly bend low.

Enjoy your day with the angels.  Spend some time in childlike wonder today. The best is yet to be.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen
