Our little Hei-Hei sleeps quietly on the front porch throughout the night, but long before 6 a.m., he starts his day by rattling the screen on our bedroom window. Sleepily, I silently ask the angels for harmony--for him to settle down a little longer until I can wake up more fully before planting my feet on the floor. This buys me about fifteen minutes as long as I remain quiet and don't speak to him, but send love.
To my surprise when I opened the front door early this morning to greet him, he had a message for me. A little piece of white paper was on the welcome mat where he patiently waited for me to let him in for breakfast. I smiled, picking it up.
That tabby cat had taken one of the old fortune cookie sayings off the table and been chewing on it. Curious, I wondered which one, recognizing a special angel delivery. Although the words on the fringes were missing, I could decipher the wisdom.
"We make a living by what we get,
but we make a life by what we give."
Oh how I love that feisty furry feline, reminding me of the importance of giving. Angels deliver messages in very interesting and fun-filled ways, but the most important thing is for the message to get through. That's why I'm learning how important it is to pay attention to details. God is in the details.
Enjoy your day with the Angels.
Love and joyful blessings!
