Answer to a Prayer, Snowball and Allie Cat

After Hurricane Milton blew over, Elliot and I took a walk to check on our wild feline friends that live in the Bunny Garden patch in the neighborhood.  What joy to watch Allie come out from the clustering long green ferns to say hello. Our prayers had been for a canopy of angelic protection to cover that special bunny trail, too.

Sadly Snowball, the other stray resident was missing.  The next day, we went back again.  The white fuzzy playful cat leaped out of the bushes, ready for a big dose of TLC in the sunshine.

Prayers are needed always...for all of us, in our own way, are fighting a hard battle here in the physical realm.  So many challenges disguised as opportunities for spiritual growth can be humanly tiresome, but we are never alone.  Angels are with us always when we know God and believe in His promises.  We may not understand why things happen the way they do, until later, but sorrow never leaves us where it found us.  Our strength is always available within... when we choose to be still and know.  To embrace the eternal now that never changes no matter what.

I'm so thankful for the power of protection promised in Psalm 91, a daily practice for life.

"He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust..."   Psalm 91:4

Love and peace,

Rae Karen
