At 5:30 our frisky tabby, Hei-Hei, woke me up this morning. His timing was in divine order. Suddenly, I remembered the Super Moon, and grabbed my camera, hoping to share the moment with you.
Stepping outside in the dark chill, a quiet stillness blanketed the pasture with peace. A few stars shone above my head as I walked down the driveway. Then, across the pasture, she appeared. Bella Luna ... dazzling in bright light so BIG and full, her glistening rays touched my heart with clarity and tenderness, giving everything a new look in the moonlight. Lofty treetops, tender blades of grass, and clinging vines, and me.
A cosmic treat -- so amazing, I could barely take it all in. A rare moment of divine love as the super moon superbly reflected the light of the sun, gracing her with radiant beauty, and new life. A whole new look.
I fumbled with the camera settings, and then surrendered, asking the angels for help to capture the divine moment. Regrettably, photos never fully embrace the sanctity of the moment...but serve as a reminder of the wonder and splendor of creation ever-present.
I was grateful for the lesson from Bella Luna to keep on shining bright--with all you've got. Your light makes a world of difference.
Love and peace,
Rae Karen
