Window Reflections: An Angel Message

Years ago, Elliot and I stopped by a historic town in New York to sight-see. Little did I know when I took a picture, my vision would shift from a material to a spiritual basis.

The uploaded photo revealed more than met the eye.  Our reflection was mirrored in the storefront window and whatever I thought I was taking a picture of didn't show up.  Instead the camera's flash illumined my face with a doorway of light and a bright orb of white light.  I laughed surprised by a flashing touch of truth.  We are all children of the light.  We have a body--but we are much more than the physical, we are spirit-formed.

It's interesting to reflect on  a reflection.  How it only comes to life when someone is present.  You smile, your reflection smiles; you frown, so does the face in the mirror.  The image mimics your every movement. Whatever you do, the reflection is like Simon Says, raise your hand,  and your image follows suit.  The mirror cannot separate itself from you because of itself it has no power.  And when you walk away, your image doesn't linger in the mirror waiting for your return.  We know the mirror has no real power...

The real power lies not in the reflection, but in higher truth your true immortal being is the Light of God that goes with you wherever you go.  Only your thoughts can temporarily separate you from seeing your true identity.

My dear friend Marian Gordon was a wonderful meta-physician and poet who had great wisdom.

Life is a mirror
peopled by many selves
Wish I could love
those I don't
then I would love myself.
--Marian Gordon

Our relationships are our mirrors. If you want to know how well you're doing overcoming your ego self, look at those around you. What are they reflecting back to you?

A favorite saying from the Edgar Cayce readings: Stand back and watch self pass by.

We are a Child of the Light, unchangeable, no matter what the illusion seems to be mirroring. Walk in the Light, and shine bright.  God is Love, and Love is reflected in Love.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen
