Feet First...

A theme has continued to come up this week about overcoming fear. Fear is a sign that instead of relying on the strength of God, I'm feeling inadequate about my ability to do something new and expansive. I'm listening to my ego's doubts and fears, forgetting that I of myself do nothing.

Yesterday, a friend at the Miracles meeting laughed sharing a funny thing that happened to her at work.

Someone had made a comment: LET YOUR FAITH BE BIGGER THAN YOUR FEAR. She liked that thought and typed up a big sign for the office.  A co-worker read it aloud with a puzzled look: LET YOUR FAITH BE BIGGER THAN YOUR FEET?

My girl friend laughed at herself, wondering how she made such a mistake!

Hearing her story, I burst out laughing.  Her message seemed to speak directly to me. I could see more clearly how all  things work together for good, except in the ego's judgment. The first chapter in my new book Rise and Shine is called Feet First. And I've been having anxiety ever since it was published.  Feet represent discipleship and/or dominion and wherever we plant our feet, God is. There really is nothing to fear.  The Angels were at play as my friend knew nothing about feet in my book, but the angel message was for me to lighten up.

A powerful lesson that came up at our meeting A Course in Miracles was also very helpful:  "God is the strength in which I trust."

Enjoy your day with the Angels. "Fear not.  Let your Light shine!"
