Trust God: An Angel Message

A Course in Miracles teaches that we cannot help but be at the right place at the right time.  Chance plays no part in God's plan. Our part is to do our best with what we know to do today, and leave the rest to God. Step back in gratitude and follow.   Isn't that a freeing thought...surrender and trust. And most of all remember that we live and move in the company of His Angels.

Enjoy your day!

The Role of A Guardian Angel for Children

In this troubled world we need all the help we can get and it is freely given by God.  When I was growing up, I wish I had been told about a guardian angel assigned to watch over me.  In Sunday school I learned about Jesus, but didn't understand that he was a real living Presence in my life.  I thought he was watching over me long distance from the right hand of the Father.

In the Bible, Jesus speaks about children and the role of a Guardian Angel.

"Take heed that ye despise not one of those little ones, for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels behold the face of my Father which is in heaven."                               --Matthew 18:10

Here's a  list of angel books John Ronner recommended for children in his book The Angel Calendar Book.

The Red Shoes by Hans Christian Andersen
The Angel Who Forgot by Elsa Bartone (Simon & Schuster)
The Alabama Angels by Mary Barwick (Ballantine Books, 1993)
Angels Get No Respect by Cecile Bauer (Magnificat Press)
The Christmas Angel by Abbie Farwell Brown.
The Tiny Angel by Elizabeth Koda-Calan (Workman Publishing, NY)
Ladder of the Angels. Stories from the Bible by Madeleine L'Engle (Harper and Row, 1979)
Marcelia's Guardian Angel by Evaline Ness
Angel of God by Piera Paltron (St. Paul Books, Massachusetts)

Enjoy your day with the Angels and celebrate your life.

Angel of Creativity

(Photo by John Sullivan at http://www.pdphoto.org/)

For He shall give His angels charge over you, to guide you in all of your ways.                                                  -- Psalm 91

It's amazing what can be created when inspired to share.  Ordinary sand, the foundation of a beach, can become a work of art; a tribute to our guardian angel who always lovingly watches over us..

Enjoy your day with the Angels and stay open for divine inspiration and appreciation.  Your creativity is meant to be shared.  A gift for others.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Angel Message: A Season and A Time

"To everything there is...a season and a time to every purpose under heaven."                                         (Ecc. 3:1)...

This plaque caught Elliot's eye this morning while we were having breakfast on the porch.  I knew it was an angel message to trust in God's timing. God is good all the time.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

An Angel Sign: Get Your Wings On!

This angelic sign at a local restaurant served as a great reminder to get my wings on. Look at an issue from a higher perspective. When something is in our face, it's easy to forget that the answer is always a call for love. Hurting people hurt people.  By not getting caught up in the drama, we can hear the angel messages and stay above the storms bringing more peace to a trying time.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Baby Peacock Chicks: An Angel Message

Nature's message yesterday was exceptionally joyful for someone like me who loves peacocks.  It was almost dusk when an angel message came after visiting a friend at rehab.  The directions were to drive in the opposite direction rather than head out the usual exit. I shouldn't have been surprised to find   the blue peacock family had crossed the road strutting up the sloping hill.  But then, there was more... This beautiful mama and her three baby chicks were emerging from the woods by the parking lot, and I had my camera!   She was kind and patient, almost posing (see her crossed legs) as I zoomed in for a photo.  This was the first time I'd seen white peacocks on the premise so I was curious about the message from nature. At home, I looked up the esoteric symbolism.  White peacock is aligned to the higher consciousness and represents the most beautiful time of your life when you reach the point of embracing who you really are...a spiritual being having a physical life experience.

And so it is for each of us as we unfold our wings and begin to understand what it means to follow our bliss at a Soul level. Our Divine Self is resurrected from the fires of fear and doubt and we begin to live in a fullness of Christ Presence.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and blessings,

Rae Karen.

P.S. The "x" she made with her legs is also a symbol for Christ.  (X-mas)

Angel Message on Thoughts

(photo from web)

Every thought sent forth is a never ending vibration winging its way across the universe to bring us back just what we sent forth.
                                                --Annalee Skarin

The Angels are reminding us today that we can control the vibrations that emanate from us and thus control our destiny.  The secret is in frequency/vibration.  Thoughts of guilt, anger, jealousy, pride are of a low vibration and produce disharmony in our lives.  On the other hand, feelings of love, forgiveness, joy, peace and acceptance in gratitude usher in a fulfilling uplifting experience.  Thoughts are not neutral--they always return to us in the measure in which they are extended.  When asked, the angels can help us change our minds and see things in the light of Truth.  The world is in need of love, and our thoughts and prayers can bring a touch of heaven.  When tempted to judge or criticize, they encourage us to see only the love or call for love that may come from harsh words.  So keeping our thoughts on high, speed up our energy field and attract more light.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Joyful blessings,

Angel Message: Fleur-de-Lis, Yellow Flag Iris

(photo Wikimedia Commons)

Yesterday's email brought another iris message. My niece had photographed her baby held in the arms of a loving aunt in a flower bed of tall irises--an unexpected surprise at their new residence. I love the synchronicity in bloom --irises are on parade this Month of Celestial Reflections!

In my new book by Vincenzina Krymow, Mary's Flowers, Gardens, Legends & Meditations, I learned that the fleur-de-lis (lily flower) has been known as the lily of France since the 5th century when Clovis I, king of the Franks, adopted the iris as his emblem after it saved him from defeat by the Goths.  He was trapped between the opposing army on one side and the Rhine River on the other.  Clovis prayed to the Christian God, vowing to convert to Christianity if he could he saved.   As he finished his prayer, he noticed yellow iris growing far out in the river--so he knew the water was shallow.  He took this as a sign from God and marched his troops across the river to safety.  He and three thousand followers became Christians on Christmas Day that year.

Often God answers our prayers in unexpected and simple ways, giving us inspiration to solve our challenges. We need only ask, watch, and follow.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

An Angel Message: More on Mother Mary's Iris and the Full June Moon

Long before dawn this morning, I woke up and went out to the living room.  To my surprise the full moon had created an inviting path of light on the carpet. Grabbing a large pillow, I stretched out bathing in her healing energies. Gazing up at the high window by the fireplace, it was as if I had been tapped on my sleepy shoulder.  See, the reflection of the full moon on the stained glass irises?

I sheepishly remembered yesterday's blog naming the Iris Mother Mary's flower for June to represent Celestial Reflections. The poster I'd shared then of the cosmic iris and the full moon had now been  translated into a "living" portrait in the living room window!  June is proving itself to be the month of Celestial Reflections, but we must wake up and pay attention.

Angels are always speaking to us and their tender touch transforms our world into a place of joyous wonder.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and blessings,

Rae Karen
