Hootie Owl: An Angel Message

Barred Owl Visiting the Old Camphor Tree Many Years Ago

Last night, I stirred from sleep at 3:00 a.m., and began entertaining angel thoughts and prayers about a troubled loved one.  I affirmed they are a complete spiritual idea, perfect in God, through Christ.  I prayed to understand that they are never alone, nor forgotten.  God is already right there.  Angel thoughts are winging their way to advise my loved one on steps necessary to resolve the issue. Only good can come from this, if we surrender and follow God's direction.

I realized I needed to replace any fear thoughts with Love, which is our only Source.  The problem and the answer come together, but fear can cover the solution until it is unmasked with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Suddenly my processing was interrupted.  I heard the distinct song of a loud owl calling out,    WHOOO?   WHOOO?  WHOOO?  His vocal appearance brought a smile.  I've heard owls hoot in the night, but his lonesome cry...WHO? rang out for several loud, long minutes.   WHOO?   WHOO?   WHOO?

I knew it was a message for me.

Over the years, a barred owl has paid us a visit; sometimes even at dusk or daylight on a cloudy day.  An owl is a symbol of the feminine, the moon, and the night. Sometimes it is called a cat with wings.  With great vision and hearing, the barred owl is the best vocalist in the owl family. It has a benign nature, and has great acting ability, putting on a show.  Some think the vocal performance of the barred owl is to put other animals and people off.  As such, this messenger teaches how to use our own voice for greater effects.

The wisdom of owl reminded me that in the dark times, don't forget who you are and WHO God is.  God is Love.  Remember how you were delivered in the past...rely on God and not your own understanding.  All is well. God loves you.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen
