Hawk Watching: Angel Message

If Hei-Hei hadn't suddenly looked up, I could have missed this young hawk perched on a high limb above us. The sun was rising as I watched the red-shouldered hawk survey his surroundings from the old oak tree.  A sudden long and loud screech cracked the dawn, calling out in the morning stillness.

Over the years, hawk has been an angel messenger for me...showing up in surprising ways when least expected but attention grabbing. When one draws close, it's important to pay attention to the behavior.  Hawk is known as a celestial messenger, circling above providing a higher perspective, an overview of the earth.

A red-shouldered hawk so up front and personal made me grab my camera... Crouching down on the sun-room floor, the angels helped get just the right angle up the tree to take a photo to share with you.

Curious about the angel message, I learned if a red-shouldered hawk comes near, you may need to be more private about your activities.  It may also be reminding you to protect what is yours fiercely, and don't be afraid to express your opinion.  These hawks are the most vocal, and maintain a sense of privacy.

God's angels speak through nature, whether outdoors or inside. A picture on-line, a card, a song, a word from a friend--angels know how to get our attention in a significant way meant for you.  Expectancy brings results...and like the hawk, stay posted...and patiently wait.  Stay tuned...the best is yet to be.

Love and peace,

Rae Karen
