Whatever stirs up my emotional body surfaces to be healed, to learn the lesson, and let it go.
This timely quote written on an old postcard resurfaced the other day.
We cannot write in water...we cannot carve in water.
Water's nature is to flow and that is how we should
treat life...emotion, negative or positive. Do not deny
it but always let it flow through and then away."

Water's nature is to flow...and this old on-line photo is a perfect illustration of letting it flow.
The Let it flow theme surfaced again in a playful artistic way. That afternoon an impromptu stop for a scoop of mint moose tracks at the little ice cream store turned up empty. But a new Little Library cabinet in the parking lot caught my eye.
Curious, I pulled out a flowery positive quotes for women book. Randomly opening it up, the header Let It Flow leapt off the page, making me laugh at the synchronicity. What timing... The angels were making tracks...I marveled at the full page iris photo beside Let It Flow.
"I know I cannot paint a flower. I cannot paint the sun
on the desert on a bright summer morning, but maybe
in terms of paint color I can convey to you my experience
of the flower or the experience that makes the flower of
significance to me at that particular time."
--Georgia O'Keeffe
The inspirational message was about longing to pursue an artistic endeavor but failing to even begin because we fear we will never be able to complete a great work. Like Michelangelo, his first painting was not a masterpiece but he continued to create. We should follow our desires as well. Art is about personal expression, and we all have something valuable and unique to share.
Let it flow today...and remember you are not alone. God's angels are with you...the best is yet to be. Begin something creative today...share your gifts. The world needs your light.
Love and peace,
Rae Karen
