Believe in Yourself

"Believe in Yourself " Shirt Tag

The things that attract our Spirit always have a hidden message; if we look into our heart, we can understand the meaning. I must admit I was more than a little surprised when I went to put on a new sparkly shirt I'd bought earlier this week. I'd pulled off the tag and was taken back by the words: "Believe in Yourself"

It's not unusual to get a message on a tea bag or a fortune cookie, but on a shirt?   I smiled, thanking the Angels, for the gentle admonishment, to not doubt myself, especially regarding the outcome of a recent creative project.

It's funny how just the right words at the right moment can be transforming. That's what happened to me.  I could feel myself lighten up and relax.  The butterfly is all about change, becoming more than we can understand as the "caterpillar".  Becoming a brand new creation...

Now that's something to be both thankful and enthusiastic about as we spread our wings.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Blessings,

Karen

Transformation - A Gift of Change

This unusual bird appeared as soon as we pulled in the parking lot to enjoy lunch.  In amazement, we watched as he slowly emerged from the tall grasses by the pond.   I was so thankful that  he was patient, striking several poses, before spreading his wings and taking off.

We tried to figure out his lineage...an older sand hill crane?  a wise stork?  a white heron?  None seemed quite like a fit.  His head like that of a turkey and his long beak like a stork, his snowy white feathers, a heron?

Sometimes angels appear in the form of birds...so later I got to thinking that maybe he was a rare combination of all those traits.  The abundance and thanksgiving of a turkey; creativity and new birth of  a stork; and the strong spiritual reliance of a white heron.  This train of thought led me to the idea of what we may appear to be as we become more like our true spiritual being.  We, too, will become a new creature in Christ, with wings to open wide, carrying us on gentle winds to marvelous new realms. Freedom.

Enjoy your day with the Angels and watch for their inspiring messages.

Blessings,

Karen

You Hold The Key

Several days ago, I watched light particles fall like rain outside my window.  The earth is being showered by the coronal mass injections from the sun.  It doesn't sound poetic, but the energy is very transformational, so much so that lately I often feel like I'm in a molecule jumbo, in the process of becoming something new and different, but not yet discernible as to what that might look like.

Recently I saw a little snippet in meditation where my physical body was shaped like a key stuck in a keyhole to a door to another realm.  Half in and half out, it wasn't a comfortable feeling.  I laughed at the idea because  it made sense.  I was leaving the old, having gotten the key into the hole, but waiting for the next step. Elliot, my husband, told me to just turn the key and pop open the door.

"If  I'm the key, I'm not sure how that's supposed to work" I laughed.  "I need help--and that's where I believe my angel friends come in." I told him.

I'd forgotten all of this, enjoying a weekend visit from my girl friend from Virginia.  This morning I was drawn to a new angel book I'd bought on sale at the library last Thursday.  I had to smile when I opened it to a section:   You Hold The Key.

The book makes an important point.  We get to decide how much we want to open our hearts to the angels.  The key is to ask them for assistance with goals we hope to achieve. The more service-oriented the goal, the better for everyone during this time of fast paced change.

So if you're feeling a little out of sorts, just know that you are a work in progress and get ready for a wonderful new change.  We thank the angels for helping us to accelerate our spiritual development.

Blessings,

Karen

P.S. After taking many pictures of  keys and keyholes, the angels guided me to an old clipart book, The Ultimate Angel Book, where I finally found the right image for this blog.  (I was sorry I hadn't asked for their help earlier.)

On Becoming Anew: An Angel Message

I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep. In my mind I kept hearing, "Behold, I will do a new thing now. I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." I recognized the Bible verse from Isaiah in my weekly lesson.

Hearing those affirming words, I become energized as I began to really take hold of and own God's promise. I was reminded that "with God all things are possible." As I laid in bed, in the dark, I could see the outline of the old camphor tree outside. I felt such a sense of promise and fullness, soon I fell back to sleep.

In the light of a new day, as I write, I can see more plainly that this sacred tree is an example of how God works, in time. What a radical change in identity... from a tiny hard seed laying in the darkness, it has grown into a towering citadel offering food and shelter to the birds and squirrels.

The birthing process seems strange, but is essential to becoming all that God intended us to be. Pushing upward toward the Light, we expand anchoring our roots deep into the earth while exploring a brand new world in higher consciousness. It truly is exciting to be alive in Christ. To be open to the infinite possibilities and ready to flow in a totally different and exciting paradigm. To make rivers in the desert or a path in the wilderness, are major transformations. Where there seemed to be no way, one will appear. We only need to trust and let go, knowing that we are in the company of God's loving angels. With the Holy Spirit, we cannot help but succeed.

This morning I watched a flock (over 30 red breasted robins) feeding on the many black berries from the camphor tree. I wondered what the robins symbolized. There were so many.

In Angel Messages, The Oracles of the Birds, I learned, "The joyful notes of the robin's song signify confiding trust, triumph, and happiness in love, and when it comes to you, as well as these things it brings a merciful burying and laying-to-rest of old problems, old conflicts, old issues, and old selves which need to be declared dead and buried. That your life path is clear for forward movement; the red breasted robin offers itself as a guide, bearing before you a light from the angels to quicken the speed of your journeying soul."

Many blessings to you as you become more than you know.
