Angel Postcard Swaps - An Angel Message

Funny how a passing idea can take hold and turn into a passion.  That's what happened after reading an article in a news magazine about swapping postcards with people around the world.  It sounded like a fun way to dress up my mailbox and make new friends.

Postcards are from a bygone era and as such are hard to find in this fast paced age. Once again, I learned to trust the angels to deliver.  While running errands downtown yesterday, it was a fun-filled time.  Standing at the teller window inside the bank, a dog showed up with his master.  We kidded that the canine was the one with the big bucks.  Turns out the cute little Lhasa Apso is named Mo-Jo, and leaving the bank, my mo-jo  was running with an idea to look for postcards at The Museum Store down the street.

Although postcards were a no show, I found a colorful animal stickers book for my great niece's birthday.  With that gift, came a recommendation to try The Muse Bookstore a little farther down the street.  It was a hit.  A display of postcards were on a revolving rack at the front of the store.  While I browsed through the limited selection, Elliot carried on a conversation with a 16-year old green parrot behind the register.

"My wife is looking for angel postcards." Elliot then told the store owner. "And she found them here."

I was grateful to purchase all eight famous postcards depicting angels. One of a kind.   Smiling, I was now ready to swap postcards, and share the good news about the angels.

Enjoy your day with the Angels, and have fun by inviting them to join you along the way.

Joyful blessings,

Rae Karen
