Something was going on last Saturday. A total surprise because it was least expected and popped up along the way when I was about town doing nothing special. I'm so grateful that our angels take the ordinary and make it extraordinary. They burst the bubble of illusion in a playful way and speak to our heart in a language we can understand. It will be different for each of us, because we are each unique in our preferences. But no matter what we value in this world, it can become a teaching device, if we let it. I urge you to keep on asking the angels to join you along the way each day.
So on Saturday when I hopped out of the car to pay our water bill I was in for a surprise. When I pulled down the lid to the drop-off box, and went to put in the envelope, I could hardly believe the special delivery before my eyes. There on top of the large metal depository bin, a cute little red lady bug figurine was glued on a small white rock. Mom was at it again. I beamed, holding the random act of kindness stone in my hand.
In that moment, my heart was brimming with love. The "find" didn't seem at random. Time seemed to stand still, and I could almost hear my mother's laughter beyond the veil, as I stood there, shaking my head in wonder.
But, even more was to come...
On our next stop at the public library, imagine my surprise to open a cartoon book at random, and see a cartoon sketch of my old chimp, Zippy. A gift from Santa on my 5th Christmas. Something was up!
You can't make these things happen... but what joy to know there is always more going on. More than our physical senses report. Sometimes we get a glimpse of the unknown. An inner knowing that our departed loved ones are nearby in challenging times like these. The Light comes shining through the cracks... and we are blessed to realize that although we are in a physical body, we are more than the body, we are Spirit, and Spirit is in a state of grace always. The best is yet to come. What blesses one, blesses everyone. I hope you find this message comforting now and in the days ahead. You are never alone. You are always in the presence of God's angels. God is Love.
Love, joy, and peace,
Rae Karen
