Archangel Jegudiel

On Sunday I received a text with a question: Have you heard of Archangel Jegudiel?

No. Out of curiosity, I searched on-line.   My friend had been at a metaphysical book store searching for answers about his career.  While waiting for the cashier to ring up his sale, he turned around and was surprised to see a  powerful angel statue.  At first glance, he thought it was Michael, but a closer look revealed the name of a new angel:  Archangel Jegudiel.

The Angel's timely appearance seemed divinely deliberate. The answer to a prayer, as this Archangel oversees work and career! He plays an important role by offering wisdom, encouragement, and strength as far as how to best use our God given talents and strengths to serve the world for the glory of God.  Archangel Jegudiel's name means: One who glorifies God.

He can help people in positions of power and leadership who want to honor God while performing their duties of office. We can pray for him to assist our world leaders today during these troublesome times.

Turns out, the statue had been in storage for several months and just recently displayed in the shop.  Synchronicity is the language of the angels and brings a joyful dose of understanding that we are never truly alone.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

An Iris Beam: An Angel Message

Yesterday afternoon while sitting on the couch, my attention was drawn to a bright shaft of light.  Its unusual presence brought a smile as it appeared to beam from the iris painting on the wall!

I thanked the angels for the message!  Iris not only represents the promise of the rainbow, but over the years has been a symbol that I'm following the right path, so don't be fooled by outer appearances.

When we are faithful to divine guidance, the light of understanding will break through the mists.

Have a joyful day with the Angels and watch for signs of God's Love for you.

Joyful blessings,

The White Heron: An Angel Message

A beautiful snowy white heron was the first messenger to cross my path this morning.  Patiently she watched the rippled waters waiting for sustenance. Her pose was one of elegance as her white wispy feathers reflected the gleam of the morning sunshine, I was reminded of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's, dressed to the nines, after a night out on the town.

When a heron appears it signals a time to assert yourself when opportunities arise. White represents spirituality, higher truth.  So take action, as you will have unseen support in the spiritual realm.

The Angel of Spontaneity had pushed me out of my morning routine, and a happy walk around the lake fed my soul as I enjoyed feeding the birds.

Three darling ducklings swam toward me gladly seizing the opportunity for a meal. Ducks bring a message to stay in an environment that brings comfort; your problems will be easily handled.  (They were fed right on time.)

Enjoy your day with the Angels, and follow the subtle nudges that break you out of a routine and into the realm of exciting possibilities.

Love and joyful blessings,

Peacocks: A Time to Rest

When I saw my wild peacock friends today, they hurriedly flew to a nearby tree in the courtyard at the rehab center. Something I rarely see them do. I watched them branch out on the old tree to rest under its sheltering leafy canopy.   The morning rain and lingering gray clouds might have played a part in their choice of activity.

Watching them I was reminded that we too need to take time to rest and review life from a higher view.   Peacock is a splendid "watchful" bird, their tail feathers often are more than a yard long.  Nothing is more magnificent than to see their colorful rich plumage unfold in the sunlight.

But today I could see that everything has its season...there's a time to strut about in full self-expression, and also a time to fold it all up, and just rest in the silence.

So the angel message I got for today from the peacocks: If you find yourself out on a limb, just wait for divine timing to guide you. Everything happens in its due season.   Meanwhile rest in God's Love and feel the presence of your angels enfolding you.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Traveling with Angels

When traveling the road, you can  drive under the influence of Angels.  Give it a try and you'll be pleasantly surprised, just invite them along on your journey.

Last weekend Elliot and I attended a spiritual conference in St. Petersburg, FL.

On the trip, I like to acknowledge the Guardian of each city we pass through, as well as welcome the guardian angels who live in the city.  When you think  how most of the population forgets to welcome their angels, this can be a powerful transformation for that city.  You can also do this everyday in the city where you live.  It works wonders...

Our first trip to the west coast of Florida, Interstate 4, cuts across the entire state.  Often it is congested. But rather than worry, I invited the angels of the highway to guide everyone safely.

A funny thing happened.  A freight train barreled down the overhead tracks at that exact moment we passed under the railroad bridge. To my surprise a childhood reaction kicked in, my hands reached straight up for the car ceiling as I lifted my feet off the floor, and made a wish.  Just like I did in my youth whenever a train passed by.

Then later down the road, the only Rest Stop appeared just in the moment of need.  I caught sight of another familiar traveler taking a break.  The sandhill crane.  He brings a message that spiritual justice is at work. Karma will be playing out somewhere in your life....so review past issues.

So wherever you're going today, it's wonderful to ask the angels to come along.  You'll be so glad you did.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Wild Turkeys: An Angel Message

This roaming pair of wild turkeys crossed our path last evening.  We'd gone up the street to get a carry-out dinner and ended up taking a detour on the way home in hopes of seeing these magnificent birds.  Following the Angel message to drive by the wooded area paid off. There they were!

Turkey in the Native American custom represents the great give-away.  It can also symbolize a need for us to give ourselves away to life, not to hold back, but live it to the fullest, giving way to full expression of our emotions in order to become more authentic.

Turkey also brings a message that blessings and abundance are present now. Your efforts will soon be rewarded.  (If you're reading this now, the gifts apply to you.)

What messages have you been receiving from nature lately?  The closer we pay attention, the more demonstrative the communication. Our inner world is reflected by the outer.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

In the Flow: An Angel Message

Sometimes being in the flow we are fooled by appearances.  Yesterday's shopping trip for a new patio umbrella was fruitless.  On our way home, an angel message whispered, Go to the lake.  So we did. I had my camera, but not much was happening as I panned the sunlit ripples.

This lone duck in a red mask was the only sign of animal life.  Cooling off in the shade by a picnic table, Elliot and I went to join him. Our timing was perfect as we caught sight of a new family swimming out from the nearby lily pads.

Out of the quietude, these adorable little ducklings came bobbing along in the flow with Mama, heading "downstream".   Their joyful little spirits stirred the lake waters and my heart with the excitement of new life.   I watched the  happy procession carried by the current until they were out of sight.

Duck brings a message: "Seek out emotional comfort and protection.  Stay in a comfortable environment.  Difficulties will be easily handled."    (Ted Andrews, Animal-Speak Pocket Guide)

Enjoy your day with the angels and listen for their loving guidance.  Spring is a joyous time of renewal.

Love and joyful blessings,

Bougainvillea: An Angel Message

The first time I heard the word bougainvillea, I was listening to a guided meditation tape.  It carried me beyond a wrought iron gate, down a cobblestone garden path, bordered by these beautiful flowers. Bougainvillea is one of those words that is fun to pronounce, the name as dramatic as the flower.

I hadn't seen one until we moved South.  Now living in central Florida, I planted several bougainvillea in the meditation garden.  The past winter seemed to have killed the woody lifeless bushes, but now in the warmth of spring, they are bursting in fiery pink radiance.

The sight of their beauty cascading over the garden bench early this morning evoked a sweet memory  of a dear friend who had quickly transitioned several weeks ago.   Beautiful inside and out,  Nancy had lived on Bougainvillea Street.  I could almost feel a touch of her serenity while sitting on the garden bench as the morning sunlight touched my face.  I found myself smiling, Hello, Nancy.

It is a comfort to know that our loved ones never die; they drop their bodies like an old tight shoe, and dance on into the light.

Interesting that the colorful leaves of the bougainvillea are mistaken for the petals.  A tiny little five-pointed butter colored flower blooms in the center.  A gentle reminder that at our center a star shines gracefully attracting attention.  Curious, I learned the message of the bougainvillea is to infuse your life with beautiful moments.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

The Cowbird, A Free Spirit: An Angel Message

A cattle egret (cowbird) and a horse hang out together on Easter weekend.

The first time I saw a cattle egret, he stood like an ornamental hood ornament on a car parked on busy New York Avenue downtown.  The light turned green and he flew away before I could capture his photo. But I thanked him for the message: "It's time to get yourself out of park and get back on the road.  Get moving!"

A few days later, he made another deliberate visitation.  Swooping down, he landed on a tree outside a restaurant where a friend and I were celebrating her birthday.  Curious, he watched us from the tree limb.  Satisfied, he flapped his white wings, and gracefully flew above the Main Street traffic, off to do some more window shopping.

These birds are rarely seen around here so when this one appeared in a pasture hanging out with a pent up horse, I thanked him for another message.

Horse represent movement.   Another message that it's time to giddy up!

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Peacocks on Parade: An Angel Message of Resurrection

Throughout history, peacocks have been symbols of the Christ, so I shouldn't have been surprised to find these beauties on parade today.

I tried coaxing them into fanning their beautiful feathers for a photo, but an angel whisper told me that would have to wait until the Easter morning celebration.  Their feathery 'eyes' bring a message of watchfulness.  Watch for the miracle.

Meanwhile the resurrection energy was present in this little white vinca that had blossomed in a tiny crack in the patio.  (White represents purity and spirit) This tender flower sprouted up to teach that where there's a will, there is a way! So however outrageous the odds, just keep on doing your best.  You will bloom where you are planted.  All things are possible with God.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Jesus and the Angel in the Garden

The  Agony in the Garden (1858)
                                                                          George Richmond  Wikimedia Commons

I found great comfort that in Jesus' darkest hour when his disciples had fallen asleep, leaving him alone with his fears, an angel appeared to give the Master strength and comfort so that he could complete his earthly mission.

The same help is available to each of us as we go through our trials. In George Richmond's painting, The Agony in the Garden, he depicts a great light cracking open the darkness revealing an angel in Christ's midst.  God never forsakes us.  He has given his angels charge over us.  (Psalm 91)

A World Service Bell: An Angel Message

(World Service Bell)

Sometimes an unexpected angel message will playfully appear on a store shelf.  I still have this treasure, a world service bell.

Angels have long been associated with bells.  Whenever a bell rings, an angel is getting their wings...

We can each serve the world by ringing for angelic assistance.

2016 is a universal 9-year; the final year of a 9-year cycle.  Nine brings endings, a time for wrapping up or clearing out the old in preparation for the start of a brand new nine-year cycle next year. The world is in need of divine intervention. Our prayers are the leavening to raise human consciousness and bring more Christ light.  It's comforting to know that I can be helpful by quieting my mind and sending up  a prayer for peace.  Heavenly help is ever present, so why not make the time to ask and feel the peaceful blessing.

Thank you, Angels for all that you do to help us awaken to our divinity.  Thanks for the reminder to ring the world peace bell and watch what happens. It doesn't have to be a physical bell, just a little willingness to be of service.

DING!

Love and joyful blessings,

Rae Karen
