It's not everyday I see a giant slug peeking in our sun-room... And, the timing this morning was perfect as I've been dealing with some physical issues that make me feel sluggish. An amusing sight, I wondered about the angel message.
An uplifting message as who doesn't need more light during these dark times.
Some questions to ask in a self-examination:
Are you staying cloaked, afraid to come out and express your inner talents? Are you trying to do too much too soon? Slug moves slowly, but steadily, a reminder there are no shortcuts. Are we not moving out on our own path? Are we locked into the path of others instead of following our own? Do we need to trust in our own ability to create?
As you can see in the photo, slugs are excellent climbers. This is the first time I've seen one high up on the glass slider eager to get my attention. The slug brings a message that we can often do much more than what we may have thought physically and spiritually possible. On a spiritual level it could mean the Biblical phrase, Ask and it shall be given... is active within our life if we know the proper way to ask.
It's comforting to remember that we are not alone in our trials and adversities. The Holy Spirit and the angels are with us, providing strength and loving guidance to come up higher, and remember our spiritual heritage as a Child of God. The best is yet to be.
Love and peace,
Rae Karen
