It's always a surprise when I discover a set up...that helps me from a set-back. And, often it may happen just because I did this or that earlier without any real thought... Objects come together to show me the bigger picture.
While processing a problem yesterday, I sat on the loveseat in my office... Suddenly, my negative thoughts were interrupted. I was guided to look up at the bookcase across my den. . Oh my... a picture of Mother Mary's face appeared magnified in my drinking glass where I left it earlier. Sheepishly I laughed, mildly chastised in a rare moment that seemed beyond time and space.
I got her urgent message.

Her beautiful face was above the half-way mark, her mouth below the water level. A few days ago, that picture, a gift from a friend many years ago, needed a new picture frame. Last week, I tucked it in my desk caddie on top of the book case. Little did I know then what was in store...
Mother Mary in my drinking glass at just the right moment. I was thankful for the sudden reminder to watch my thoughts and my words. Words are containers of power for good or bad. I want to be a glass half-full kind-of-person... grateful for all the good already present. God is good.
Remember you are never alone. God has sent his angels to be with you and guide you in all your ways. Keep on having faith, and seeing the best.
