Light! Light! Light! During lunch on Sunday, an amusing angel message on light caught my eye. I happened to see a funny sight from the sun-room. A lizard's posture on the lantern post was something new and different. He had crawled halfway inside the black hole on the white pole. The triple glass globes were shining on a cloudy day. His little head and upper body were tucked inside the hole; his torso and long tail draped down the pole.
How did you see it? Elliot asked, surprised.
I told him, Angels somehow get our attention when a lesson is forming. This little lizard was either half-in or half-out. We watched to see what happened next while eating our sandwiches at the table.
Lizard represents dream time--to let go of old fears in the illusion.
When we walk in the light one step at a time, the path will open up. God's Word is a lamp unto our feet...but we don't see the whole picture at once. We walk by faith, not by sight and grow in spiritual strength. Each step forward in the darkness lights our way. When we carry His Word in our heart, and remember His promises, we walk as Children of the Light.
Before I could take a photo, the lizard disappeared down the hole. We laughed. Maybe he already lived there or decided to dwell in the Light. We were thankful for the lesson to live in the Light and not dwell or focus on the darkness, or be double-minded.
Angels help to light our way. We have infinite power and peace in every moment for God is All in all. Like that old saying, sometimes we may find ourselves in a dark hole to discover we are light! It's important to keep having faith beyond our five physical senses. We are spiritual beings... More is going on than we can presently understand, but the outcome will be victorious when we fully rely on God and believe what He says about us. You are the light of the world.
