Centuries ago, ages before the advent of mobile phones, pigeons played an important role in communications. No matter how far these homing birds flew to deliver a message, they always found their way back home thanks to an internal GPS. Recently I learned Christoper Columbus's real name was "Columbo"(an Italian word for pigeon). And, thanks to his discovery our home is in America.
This loving pair of sunlit pigeons, perched atop a power-pole by the lake, shared a tender moment, and delivered an angel message. To take time out during the day to whisper tender words of love and appreciation each day. Remember, home is where the heart is.
