Early this morning the tall trees out back were atwitter with a cheerful song from a large flock of red breasted robins. Tree limbs bounced as berries were hungrily plucked from a plentiful bounty. Some birds came fluttering down, splashing into the birdbath. What fun to watch their wings flap in the cool waters causing quite a stir. The sight of so many robins at once made me think that the angels were sending a message. Here's what I learned about the symbolism of a robin:
The robin is a songbird, the females join in the singing. The significance of its red breast shows that it has its heart in the right place and a voice to express itself. This is exactly what the robin means to tell you when it makes an appearance clear to you. Perhaps you should finally express what moves your heart. Perhaps it is time to show your true colors. The robin's message is to express yourself -- it can be a smile, sadness, joy but to express simple sentiments that arise in your innermost heart. Feel free to be you.
Interesting timing as so many women are flocking together this weekend in America due to the government shutdown.
Enjoy your day with the Angels.
Love and joyful blessings,
