|Fun Postcard from Gillespie Museum Gift Shop
It's fun to listen to where the angels may lead each day. I've always been a rock hound of sorts. One afternoon this week, Elliot and I took a spontaneous tour of a rock show. Nearby Stetson University has a wonderful Earth Science Museum on campus.
This colorful volcanic rock looks like one of my rainbow sponge cakes, a reminder to stay out of the kitchen.
A quartz skull from Mexico...a reminder not to be so hard-headed.
And last, but not least, a reminder to love and respect our home, Earth, a rocky planet. That's where I found the "You Are Here" postcard-- at home here on the blue marble nestled in the vast universe of infinity.
As a souvenir, I picked up a chuck of dolomite in the museum gift shop. I loved the purplish pink color with the darker purple lines etched throughout the smooth stone. I was in for a surprise when I looked up the properties at home. It was more of a fit than I realized. "Dolomite encourages charitable actions and relieves sorrow in such a way as to assist one to recognize there are actually no reasons to be sorrowful [i.e., "everything happens for a reason"].
With the loving help of the angels, and the Holy Spirit, I'm still working on that one... But it does look nice on the mantle by a beautiful angel my neighbor's sister sculpted of her daughter. A reminder that her angelic inner beauty is within each of us, ready to shine out in the world.
Enjoy your day with the Angels.
Love and joyful blessings,
