Entertaining Divinity

(Angel Standing in the Sun, William Turner, wikimedia Commons)
--I throw my selfe down in my Chamber, and I call in and invite God and his Angels
thither, and when they are there, I neglect God and his Angels, for the noise of a
file, for the rattling of a Coach, for the whining of a doore.
                                                                                                --John Donne

This quote made quite an impression on me.  How easily distracted we become by the most mundane things when we are always in the presence of Holiness.  Where we put our attention is the place that our energy flows, creating our reality in each moment of now.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

 Blessings,

Karen

Let There Be Light

(cherumbim artwork from the web)

Light has been a big theme for me the past several days.  First off, my neighbor has a generator in his front yard called LIGHT TOWER.  We laughed about the name this morning at our A Course in Miracles meeting.  Last night, light crossed my path again in a deliberate way.  While we were driving home at dusk, passing through the neighborhood, I saw a real treasure discarded near a trash can.  An old fashioned lantern, made of heavy iron,  it was large enough to house a fat white candle the  size of a small birthday cake.  The design was handsome and it even had a little door.  I wanted it in the worse way, and so Elliot sighed and helped me haul it into the trunk.  We are light workers, after all.  I brought it home and cleaned it up.  All I need is a new wick for the candle.

This morning, I smiled when my Course in Miracles saying card was on light. I read the words from Christ:   "I am come as a light into a world that does deny itself everything.  It does this simply by dissociating itself from everything.  It is therefore an illusion of isolation, maintained by fear of the same loneliness that is its illusion. I said that I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.  That is why I am the light of the world.  If I am with you in the loneliness of the world, the loneliness is gone..."

The message is a welcomed one.  No matter how dark a situation may appear, the Light of Christ is within each of us.  Sometimes it takes darkness to make that discovery that we are Light.  Gratitude paves the way to enlightenment.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Blessings,

Karen

Have Fun: An Angel Message

Today the angels say take time out to play and have fun. Lighten up.  My friend, Drew, sent this photo of her granddaughter and her fun-filled playmates.  When I took a closer look at the picture, I noticed the large, tight knots in the rope by the slide.  I got it.  The choice is mine:  Stay tied up in knots, or let things slide and be joyful in the now. When we can let go, answers come in unexpected ways.

Have fun today with your angels.  Be spontaneous, like a little child.

Joyful blessings,

Rae Karen

Love is Fulfillment

(Artwork from the web - Archangel Gabriel)
I was in the middle of processing an interaction with someone that I thought could have gone better.  I sat down at my desk and popped open an old journal. I was surprised by the entry.  It was so appropriate, I knew the angels had guided me. I'd made notes from The Book of Azrael, from the A.R.E. library several years ago.

"So long as you resent a circumstance, resist an experience; find fault with, hurt, hate a person or a thing, you will never be released from it or them.

ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE CAN EVER BE CONCLUDED, FINISHED, AND DONE WITH UNTIL LOVE HAS ENTERED INTO IT.  LOVE IS FULFILLMENT.

Without love, there is nothing; the creation you started fades into nothingness.  Thoughts and concepts which are not supported by Love have not reached the point of their creation where they have an existence--a state of being--or identity--so, when Love is not forth coming, the thought must remain in abeyance until such time as intent is pure and all Law has been compiled with."

I was so thankful for the reminder.  It's important not to try to control the flow, but allow and accept things as they are, rather than wasting time wishing they were different.  By accepting each circumstance as perfect for my soul's growth in that moment, I am not resisting but opening up to receive Divine will, by letting go of personal attachments.

Archangel Gabriel oversees love in all relationships.  Call on him.  His gentle guiding presence will permeate your circumstances adding divine love to all those gaps where you may be withholding love.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Blessings,

Karen

Angels on the Weather

Often when I ask for understanding on a certain topic, I'll be guided to the answer in the most subtle and natural way, just going about my day. This happened recently as a result of the hurricanes.  I wanted to know why certain areas keep getting pounded. It didn't seem quite fair.  Then last night, I pulled out a book, The Kingdom of the Shining Ones, written by Flower A. Newhouse, a gifted Christian mystic.  Having forgotten my question on the weather, I was looking up information on the nature angels, when I found Newhouse's guidance from the angels on catastrophes occurring on the physical plane:

"It is due to the fact that Nature Intelligences--who are answerable to either earth, air, fire, or water elements--have been offended by the sacrilege of irreverent human beings.  Theirs is not an attitude of punishment or retaliation, for they do not cause these disruptions.  They simply permit areas to be inwardly cleansed of the powers that have gathered so that the whole planet itself will not be destroyed.  This would happen were the monstrous forms allowed to accumulate and increase unimpeded without adequate dissipation through releasement."

She goes on to say:  "If, in a certain area, danger of earthquake threatens its human citizens should together purify themselves of selfish, deceitfulness and hatred especially.  Hurricanes from the inner causative standpoint are believed to be the result of the tempers, prejudices, and greed energies of vast sections of people on the physical globe."

God is only Love. Let's pray for a shift in mass consciousness, around the world, so we can all wake up to our true Identity and bring heaven to earth. Thoughts are things.  Where our attention goes, the energy flows.  By inviting the angels to lift us above the emotional storms of our personal lives, we can help the transformation.  Also by spending a few moments each day in silent meditation, bathing the earth in the white light of Christ consciousness, amazing things can happen.

Enjoy your day with the angels,

Karen

Angel Reflection

(Doverpictura, royalty free image)
The angels are here to help us accelerate our spiritual advancement.  We are not physical beings, but  are spiritual, made in the image and likeness of God.  As such, only the attributes of God, good, are true.  The ego would like to pull us into an emotional riptide, so stay vigilant for the truth. By paying attention to the angel messages, we can bring more light into our lives, and those around us. The angels whisper, What are you reflecting today?   Love or fear.

Enjoy your day with the angels.

Blessings,

Karen

Angel of Clarity

During these times of confusion and transformation, what we need is clarity to help us understand ourselves and those around us.  The Angel of Clarity waits patiently at the threshold of our mind for an invitation to help us know and appreciate ourselves more clearly.  This Angel can help us to remember our magnificent spiritual identity.   Self worth is really the basis for all spiritual progress.  The more we grow spiritually, the more we begin to be grateful for the precious gift of what we are in spirit.  The Angel of Clarity would like to come and bring out those qualities hidden within us, waiting to be birthed.

Getting on an elevator this weekend, when the door shut, I was delighted to see this sign.  It reminded me of that old saying:  "A smile is a curve that sets everything straight."  With help from the Angel of Clarity, we can understand why things have turned out the way they did, and smile because it was in our best interest, except in the ego's judgment.

Enjoy your say with the Angels.

Blessings,

Karen

The Resurrection Energy

(Noli me tangere)  BOTTICELLI  (14444/45-1510) Johnson Collection, Philadelphia Museum of Art)

The past week or two I've had amazing synchronicity regarding the resurrection.  It began when I came across this prayer in a little icon book entitled, Stations of the Resurrection, at Saint Augustine.  This prayer especially spoke to my heart.  I liked the concept that Christ can gently speak to us in times of doubt, calling us by name as he did Mary in the garden, reawakening us to a new reality.

"O Christ of the resurrection
when you spoke Mary's name
she knew that it was you.
You know each of us individually,
you call us by name.
In times of doubt or perplexity,
speak gently to us, speak our name,
and help us to realize
that it is not our weakness that counts,
but your strength;
not our achievements,
but your redeeming grace in us
that brings us to the new day."

Terry Tastard

Next, this Botticelli  of Mary and Christ (above) was in a beautiful old book, The Life of Christ in Masterpieces of Art, I happened upon at the Deland public library book sale.  She is reaching out to touch him in the physical, wanting to believe that he's for real. But he tells her not to touch Him for He has not yet ascended.

Then at our A Course in Miracles meeting yesterday, the Holy Spirit guided the group to several passages on the resurrection.  One of my favorites:

            "...your resurrection is your reawakening."

Enjoy your day with the Angels.  These angel messages point the need to keep our thoughts above the clouds of mortal mind.  There is more going on than meets the eye.  Trust and appreciate "what you are" as a holy child of God.

Blessings,
Karen

The Whooping Cranes

Sometimes it's good to find a quiet place in nature and unwind. Today we went to the lake.  Watching the serene water and feeling the gentle breeze was refreshing to my soul.  A clear beautiful vista away from the hum drum routine.  Sitting on the dock,  I began processing an issue out loud.  My  diatribe was suddenly interrupted by two long legged crane standing in the water not too far away.  They began whooping loudly in a raucous duet, with their red heads raised high, thoats warbling.

I got the picture. My quiet discussion was disturbing their peaceful environment!  I wasn't thinking on the bright side.  With the duo still whooping, three young ducks from under a nearby dock swam out, and formed a line by the whooping cranes.

Laughing, I apologized and thanked them for the message:  Watch what you're putting out there.

Their teaching must have worked because later in the day when I started to move into a judgemental space, I remembered those sandhill cranes and sealed my lips.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Blessings,

Karen

The Hidden Rainbow

The clouds are really big here in Florida.  The past week, like clockwork, they roll in during the late afternoon.  Rain comes, watering the lawn and flowers, giving me a reprieve.  Yesterday afternoon something amazing happened. We were about to get in the car when my attention was drawn to a bright white mountainous cloud behind me.  High up in the sky, through a large portal in the center, I could see a patch of blue sky, along with part of a rainbow tinged in golden light! I wanted to run back in the house and get my camera but it soon faded out of sight.

I was thankful for this beautiful metaphor in the sky, teaching me that those big thick clouds are like my ego thoughts blocking out the joy of truth--the rainbow of God's promise is there all the time.  In reality, the clouds have only the power I give them with my mind. Today I'm going to be more vigilant for what thoughts I'm entertaining.  Love or fear?  One is real and the other a misperception.

Enjoy your day with the Angels.

Blessings,

Karen

Angelic Flower Message

This beautiful plant was a $6 bargain several years ago.  Her heart shaped leaves grew steadily and she would occasionally surprise me with a blossom or two, also shaped like a heart. At the time I didn't think of her as a love plant.  Even her pretty pink is the color of the heart chakra. When we moved last December,  I didn't want to leave her in Virginia.  And the moving company couldn't take plants across state lines, so I had no choice but to unpot her, along with some other plants, and pack them gently in a plastic bag, hoping for the best as we loaded the car.

Several days later, when we arrived at our new home, I unpacked the bedraggled plants and put them in new pots.  Recently, I noticed how much she'd grown in her favorite spot on the front porch. I counted nine blossoms  opened wide!  Her long pistils, like antennas, giving and receiving love. I am love, she seemed to say.

I could see she was an angel messenger for me.  I was having trouble opening my heart fully in a situation.    My teabag this morning reminded me of her.  "Wherever you go, go with all of your heart."

Enjoy your day with the angels and remember you are Love.

Blessings,

Karen

Feet First...

A theme has continued to come up this week about overcoming fear. Fear is a sign that instead of relying on the strength of God, I'm feeling inadequate about my ability to do something new and expansive. I'm listening to my ego's doubts and fears, forgetting that I of myself do nothing.

Yesterday, a friend at the Miracles meeting laughed sharing a funny thing that happened to her at work.

Someone had made a comment: LET YOUR FAITH BE BIGGER THAN YOUR FEAR. She liked that thought and typed up a big sign for the office.  A co-worker read it aloud with a puzzled look: LET YOUR FAITH BE BIGGER THAN YOUR FEET?

My girl friend laughed at herself, wondering how she made such a mistake!

Hearing her story, I burst out laughing.  Her message seemed to speak directly to me. I could see more clearly how all  things work together for good, except in the ego's judgment. The first chapter in my new book Rise and Shine is called Feet First. And I've been having anxiety ever since it was published.  Feet represent discipleship and/or dominion and wherever we plant our feet, God is. There really is nothing to fear.  The Angels were at play as my friend knew nothing about feet in my book, but the angel message was for me to lighten up.

A powerful lesson that came up at our meeting A Course in Miracles was also very helpful:  "God is the strength in which I trust."

Enjoy your day with the Angels. "Fear not.  Let your Light shine!"
